Their laughter carried them all the way home. Kurogami stepped ahead, swinging the door open and calling out as he kicked off his shoes.
"Mom! We're back, and Kuroto must be starving right now. Give him some starters, I'll make his favorite Tempura Udon!"
"Brother?" Kuroto's soft voice made Kurogami pause. Turning around, he saw his younger brother still by the doorway.
A flicker of confusion crossed Kurogami's face. "What's wrong, Kuroto?" he asked gently.
Kuroto looked up to him with a small smile. "Nothing… I just think I should practice a little more."
Kurogami let out a sigh, "Kuroto! you just came back from a game, rest up buddy! don't exhaust yourself, rest up, eat something nice. And let's watch your favorite movie, then you can practice."
Kuroto's smile grew warmer, "Brother, tomorrow's the final, and the opposition is the real deal, I should practice."
Kurogami takes a deep breath before shaking his head with a faint smile.
