Cinder looks at Orin for a second before releasing a full-blown laugh.
"Hahahaha! You think you can stop me?! Fool!"
She takes something out of her pocket and presses the button on it. A second later, they hear a loud roar from the distance. Cinder grins as she knows what is coming. However, she doesn't know that Orin is already preparing for it.
As the Wyvern approaches the tower, something emerges from the cloud. A group of ships appears from the thick cloud that hides them. They are small ships that move fast, but pack a lot of punch.
They are equipped with laser cannons that can punch through solid objects like hot knives through butter. It also has missile pods that release guided missiles that an AI or a Crew can control.
Alice is the one controlling all the ships, all the weapons, and the missiles.
Cinder looks at the airships in the air in shock. The Wyvern in the sky starts to attack the machine that attacks it. Each time it managed to hit one of the ships, the damage healed itself. That is because of the Nanites that fix all the damage the ship suffers.
"What do you think? We already know about this attack, you know?"
"What?!"
"Why do you think we let you enter Beacon so easily? Do you think we don't know about the virus? We know about them. At this moment, the rest of your people have already been captured or killed in battle. You think you are so smart, but in the end, you are nothing but a failure."
"Shut up!"
Without a warning, Cinder releases a torrent of fire toward Orin. Sadly for her, Orin easily dodges the incoming attack and starts running. Cinder was caught off guard by his speed and could barely block the punch from him. However, the impact was so strong that she got thrown to the wall.
"GAH!"
Orin dashes toward her, but as he gets closer, Cinder growls and screams.
"RAAAGH!"
A dome of fire engulfs the two of them, and after a second, the dome is gone.
"How?!"
Cinder shouts in shock and anger at the sight of Orin unharmed as black skin falls to the ground. Orin looks at her with a grin and says.
"Nanomachine, son. They can take a lot of damage from all kinds of elements. The worst opponent for a False Maiden like you. RAH!"
Orin dashes and appears in front of Cinder. She tried to block his attack, but failed to block the incoming attack. His punch hits her stomach, and the sound of her aura breaking can be heard throughout the room as her body slams to the other side of the room.
Cinder coughs up blood while Orin walks toward her.
"You might be a Tier-5 character when you get Maiden power, but now? You are nothing but Tier-4 characters, and I am Tier-6."
"What is that supposed to mean?!"
Orin dash forward and appear in front of her with his fist raised.
"That means you are not my match. Good night."
He punches her right in the head and watches her fall to the ground, unconscious. Orin looks at her in disappointment and activates his Omni-Tool.
"Alice, how is the situation?"
He looks out of the window and watches as the army of ships fights the wyvern.
"Do you need help? Do we need to deploy Project Titan?"
"No, father. I can handle this thing. It can also regenerate, but its fire breath is not enough to destroy the ships."
"And as long as the ships are intact, the nanites can heal them. Very well. I will leave it to you."
He sends a message to Ozpin, telling him to take Cinder away. He wants to kill her and return Maiden power to its proper host, but Ozpin needs information regarding Salem and her group. With the canon timeline disappearing without a trace, Orin decided to allow it.
He doesn't have any spies in the Land of Darkness just yet and requires any information regarding that place.
However, he needs to do something just in case she manages to run away from Ozpin and his goons.
Orin manipulates the nanites inside his armor and lets some of them inside her skin. They will be invisible and cannot be tracked. Their job? Self-destruct in case Cinder manages to run away.
While waiting, Orin opens his Omni-Tool and watches the internet with a smile on his face. The people around the world now know that Cinder wants to destroy CCT and plunge the world into chaos. Not only that, they also know that someone can control Grimm.
It will create panic, but not too much because the people know that the hunters will protect them. It is a controlled information dump. It is better than in the canon timeline, where people know someone can control Grimm after getting defeated by the one controlling the Grimm.
Lastly, the people know that White Fang and Faunus are not people you can mess with. He knows the higher-ups of Vale and Atlas will throw tantrums about our new military power, but he knows they cannot do anything.
He looks at the explosion in the sky and smiles.
They are already wary about the airships alone, and combining them with the new weapons the White Fang use will make them hesitate to do anything to us, or at least do something meaningful.
They will try to embargo goods from Manegerie, but a lot of people will ignore them when they learn that Faunus' techs and goods are cheaper and better than the ones those politicians provide them.
Alice is also already talking to the Frontier Villages and Towns, making contracts to provide them with energy and a way to defend themselves from Grimm and bandits. Many politicians burn a lot of bridges when it comes to the Frontier people.
And Orin will happily exploit that.
"Orin"
He snaps from his thoughts and turns around to see Ozpin and Glynda walking toward him. He gives them a smile and says.
"Here you go, Ozpin. A false Maiden and traitor to our race."
