Chapter 36 - Ch 36 A familiar foe

Acharya explained further, "There are many more ways and factors through which Body Asanas and hand mudras assist one to increase their focus. Such as body Asanas foster a deep connection between mind and body, providing a heightened awareness about the internal states to the user, which is quite essential to notice even the subtle changes within the energy and fix it precisely, especially when it comes to using powerful and sensitive energy like kundalini."

"For now, you should just practice the hand mudras and body Asanas taught to you by your previous Master, I will teach you further ahead when you are eligible.", Acharya said as he turned around and walked towards the tree.

He just went below that tree and sat on the ground in the lotus position, soon his figure began to shine with a radiant light and he disintegrated into small particles of light which flew towards that huge stone tablet and submerged into it.

In the very next moment the stone tablet shone with the same radiance and in a flash, Rudra found himself back into that cart. Rudra memorized everything said by Acharya, and then stood up from his place with the curiosity to check where they had reached. Although acting to be very calm outside, but there was a storm of mixed emotions growing inside him, anxiety, anger, pain and worry for his beloved ones.

Here outside the carriage two guards riding together with the carriage on their horses were talking to each other, "What do you think, what is the reason for Masaan clan to suddenly act out so aggressively?"

"How would I know?", the other guard replied.

"I mean they must have required a solid backing to gather enough guts for this decision right?!"

"I agree with your thought to some extent!", another guard chimed in.

"So what do you believe made Masaan clan dare to act out like this?", the second guard asked.

"Even I don't know, maybe the Masaan clan has gotten their hands on some treasure!", the third guard said.

"Shut up all three of you and focus on moving forward or you will be left behind, pay attention to guarding the carriage.", another guard who was draped in a gleaming black Armor from head to toe, was polished with a mirror-like sheen, reflecting sharp arcs of the sunlight falling upon it.

"Yes, captain!", all three of the shouted as the speed up their horses to keep pace with the carriage and the whole convoy.

The captain too sped up his horse as he led the convoy, but the through the corner of his eyes he was able to catch a small glance of a sudden light that shined in the left between the mountains at a visible distance for just a few seconds and disappeared.

Out of suspicion he slowed down his horse, staring toward his left. He spotted a shiny object flying through the sky towards them leaving behind a trail of black smoke. It was a huge ball covered in fire spinning at its fastest through the air in an arc motion towards them. It's speed was incredible as it managed to reach their convoy in just a few seconds.

Before the captain had enough time to react, the fireball came flying and landed right in front of the main carriage. Digging in it caused a massive explosion throwing out a lot of rocks covered in fire, causing the moving carriage to be disrupted, the horses pulling the carriage lost their balance while trying to avoid that fireball, and fell down. Due to the momentum the carriage moved a little further as it was overturned and dragged till a few meters on the ground.

The rocks draped in fire flew out and rained down on the entire convoy together with the carriages, causing every guard on horse to fall down and crushing the outer body of the main carriage. The whole surrounding was enveloped by fire which spread through the grass taking the form of a wildfire.

The captain of the guards stood up and looked in the direction that fireball came from to spot a few horses being driven by people who were draped in brown and dusty cloaks. It was a whole group of bandits that rode towards them and was led by a man with a huge spear hung on his back. Seeing this the captain drew out his sword and pointed it towards the leader of the bandit group.

The bandit group in total contained ten people who were riding on horses and wore the same cloak as the leader, their faces were covered with a scarf, with only their eyes visible., very soon the bandit group arrived there and it's members encircled the whole spot where the fireball had crashed leading to an accident, surrounding the whole convoy.

"Who are you? How dare you to attack our convoy?", The captain asked the bandit leader who halted his horse right in front of him and jumped down.

That man strides forward, his eyes gleaming with a ruthless confidence, his every step measured and heavy with authority, he lets out a low, mocking chuckle as he surveys the destroyed convoy. Cracking his knuckles he says, "I am the storm that sweeps through villages, the man whose blood can't be reaped by any blade, the bandit king of this region, Rana."

He paused, his voice dropping to a deadly whisper, yet carrying an edge that commands attention, "You have only two choices to escape from my hands in the se barren lands, either kneel down and surrender all of your precious items to me, or die, either way, I will get what I want… and you will be nothing more than a ghost haunting these lands."

"You seem to have drowned so much in your confidence that it has blinded your eyes.", the captain said.

"So, the rat is trying to stand in front of it predator, if you have the might and will, then try it, and defeat me!", Rana said as he took his spear in his hands, and took a fighting stance.

Here, within the debris of broken rocks, there was the main carriage which was very badly crushed under the fireball hailstorm, but inside the spatial seal was active and fine, providing a complete protection layer to the magical space spread within that carriage. Due to which even all the passengers who were riding that carriage safe with only a few injuries.

The other guards somehow stood up and ran towards the carriage only to see that it was badly crushed by a huge piece of rock. All the guards gathered together and grabbing the rock they somehow lifted it and moved it aside, but as soon as they removed the rock, the gate of the carriage burst open and a young boy jumped out of it.

It was Rudra who had delivered a powerful blow to the gate in order to open it as it was earlier blocked by the huge rock. Following him came out Aagam and Sharun. Aagam looked around as he surveyed to find what had happened actually, and his gaze fell upon the Huge manly figure who stood infront of captain.

His eyes squinted as he looked at that man up to down and then at his face which was covered, then he looked into his eyes, which seemed very familiar to him as he thought, 'those sharp and gleaming deadly eyes, I am sure I have seen them somewhere!'

Rana's eyes spotted Aagam staring at him, and the very next moment he chuckled as walked towards Aagam, "Nice to meet you old man, do you still remember me?"

"Who are you?"

"Hahahaha! Maybe your memory has weakened with your age!", Rana says as he grabbed his cloak and removed it, revealing his muscular body and face. His face had a huge cut mark that stretched across his face for his cheeks to the left eyes, where as he had a muscular body which were tightly pressed due to the metallic armor that covered his abdomen, chest and back.

Upon seeing the face of that man Aagam was shocked as his eyes were wide open, "This can't happen? You?!"
