"Thunder Axe!!"
Raikage A leapt high into the air.
His entire body was wrapped in Lightning Release armor, then he gathered lightning chakra into his right leg and swung it sideways toward Susanoo's battle helmet.
This strike was as swift as a thunderclap.
With his Lightning Chakra Mode fully activated, the Raikage's speed soared to the extreme.
At present, in the ninja world, almost no one could rival him in speed.
Under the storm of arcs and magnetic lightning, A's hair flew wildly upward, his face ferocious.
His whip kick turned into afterimages, roaring with thunder, and smashed into the side of Susanoo's helm.
Inside the jewel of Susanoo's head, Sasuke and the others were utterly shocked, clenching their teeth and shutting their eyes tightly.
At this moment, they were a hundred meters above the ground. That someone could reach this height in an instant and unleash such devastating power left them in disbelief.
Was this the true might of the Raikage?
Boom—
The Raikage unleashed his full strength.
His right leg slammed against the side of Susanoo's battle helmet. With a resounding crash, the violent impact spread shockwaves through the air.
If this kick had struck a jonin, it would have easily snapped the person in two at the waist.
With thunder roaring in their ears, Sasuke and the others dared not look.
But only moments later—
Shikamaru sensed no airflow nor tremor. He was the first to open his eyes, then froze in disbelief.
Even after taking the Raikage's full-strength strike head-on, Susanoo's helmet showed no cracks at all. The massive figure stood as firm as a mountain.
"How could it not take even the slightest damage?!"
Even the Raikage himself was shocked.
He increased his lightning output, attempting to force his chakra through Susanoo's surface.
But his lightning nature chakra couldn't even pierce the outermost chakra armor of the helm. All it could do was flicker faintly as blue sparks outside.
"How is this possible?!"
The Raikage's pupils widened. His full-power taijutsu felt as though it had struck solid earth.
If it were the ground, at least he could leave behind a giant crater.
But this attack sank like a stone into the sea, stirring up no ripples at all.
The only explanation was that this colossal figure, entirely composed of chakra, possessed density and durability far beyond imagination, utterly immune to his taijutsu assault.
Uchiha Yu remained unmoved, glancing coldly at A, the crimson glow of the Hachisenbon Mangekyō flickering in his eyes.
This full-body Susanoo was fueled by tailed beast chakra extracted by Uchiha Yu, its surface fused with the density and mass of the "Zero-Tails" chakra armor—strong beyond belief.
If the Raikage hoped to shatter it with taijutsu, he might need twenty thousand years!
Hum—
The temperature plummeted.
The tomoe patterns in Uchiha Yu's eyes began to rotate. He attempted to channel Yin Release chakra through his gaze, injecting it into the Raikage's spiritual world.
But in the next instant, A sensed danger and instantly retracted his leg, vanishing without a trace.
That was the advantage of speed—so fast it could even evade dojutsu.
Even young Sasuke was stunned at A's speed. He did not yet know that in the original course of fate, one day he too would fight the Raikage—and his Amaterasu would be dodged by that very speed.
Uchiha Yu mused for a moment, then looked down.
Rasa's "Magnet Release: Gold Dust" had already overlapped with Hashirama's Wood Release, surging around Susanoo's legs.
"..."
Yet Uchiha Yu felt nothing at all. To him, it was like waves splashing against his ankles.
Watching Rasa strain red-faced to control his Magnet Release, Uchiha Yu found the sight almost comical.
The impact of the gold dust was weaker than the Raikage's earlier taijutsu strike. At least the Raikage's blow had produced shockwaves.
And then, in but a moment—
Rumble—Rumble—
Dense barrages of Fire Release and Wind Release arced across the sky, streaks of dazzling light.
They carried a breath of destruction, but when they struck the crimson Susanoo's leg armor, they appeared utterly insignificant.
A Fire Release looked no more than a matchstick thrown against an elephant's leg. A Water Release was but a trickle of spray.
Then the earth cracked open. Layer upon layer of Earth Release piled over Susanoo's leg joints, as though trying to petrify and lock them in place.
Cloud, Sand, and Sarutobi shinobi unleashed ninjutsu in waves, supporting their Kage on the front lines. The air grew heavy with the explosive tang of chakra.
For a moment, it felt as if they had been transported back to the Third Great Ninja War.
On the front lines—
Susanoo's ankles were swallowed by golden sand waves, its legs entangled by Wood Release vines, its helmet battered furiously by the Raikage.
It was as if this colossal energy giant had been restrained by sheer force, the tide of battle seemingly turning.
"Hold him down! With the God of Shinobi on our side, wearing him down is only a matter of time!"
"We will claim the final victory!"
Among the dense ranks of ninja, many let out spirited, morale-boosting roars.
They didn't even fully understand the higher-ups' decisions.
While fighting, they suddenly discovered that their own side had somehow joined forces with the previously battered Konoha, and now together they were opposing the suddenly appearing Uchiha.
At this moment, as Hashirama's deep forest binding wrapped more and more tightly around the Complete Susanoo, these ninja no longer believed it to be unstoppable and invincible.
Inside the "cockpit" of Susanoo, Sasuke and the others couldn't tell whether the current situation favored them or if they had already fallen into a desperate plight.
Even Kushina and Rin had their perceptions overturned by the battlefield. In the previous three Great Ninja Wars, nothing like the Complete Susanoo—an overwhelming, crushing force—had ever appeared.
If Konoha had possessed such a power back then, the other villages wouldn't even have needed to fight.
But now, with Konoha and the other hidden villages united against the Uchiha, the situation was chaotic. Neither Kushina nor Rin could see where the tide of battle was heading.
It was then that the group of young ninja suddenly noticed—Uchiha Yu was smiling. His expression remained calm, not the least bit tense. His hands formed seals.
It was the Summoning Technique!
After completing the seals, Uchiha Yu raised his right hand high and pressed his palm against the dark red gem beneath his feet.
Rumble——
The Complete Susanoo did not mirror the hand signs, but instead released its chakra blade.
Its right arm, still bound by the wooden vines, lifted high and slammed toward the ground.
The Complete Susanoo could act in concert with its caster to unleash jutsu.
A shadow fell from the heavens.
"Scatter!!!"
The shinobi of the Cloud and Sand Villages shouted in alarm, those at the front mistakenly thinking Susanoo intended to crush them with its palm. They fled in panic.
Only then did several sharp-eyed jōnin realize that the God of Shinobi's Wood Release binding was practically useless against this monstrous power!
"What is he doing?"
Rasa, gazing upward at the bowing Susanoo, frowned.
As the Kazekage, he naturally understood—its palm strike wasn't meant merely to swat them to death. But he couldn't guess the follow-up.
The next second, he understood.
The heavens and earth shifted.
On the ground, a vast, dark, intricate summoning array spread outward, the pitch-black patterns engulfing hundreds of meters, as if an abyss were about to descend.
"The Summoning Technique!!"
Tobirama's pupils shrank. He turned to his brother. "Big Brother, can you stop him!?"
"The technique has already taken shape. If it were me in my prime, perhaps… but now…"
Hashirama's face twisted with strain, his clasped hands trembling violently. Clearly, restraining the Complete Susanoo with Wood Release was already pushing him far beyond his current limits.
Hearing this, Tobirama's face darkened. For some reason, just looking at that complex summoning array sent chills crawling over his skin.
From afar, Orochimaru and Garaga, who were nearing the central battlefield, also noticed the array and froze in thought.
"Uchiha Yu's contracted summons should already be here… there's no need for such an unnecessary move." Orochimaru muttered in surprise.
Then he glanced at Garaga beneath him.
Garaga snorted. "Perhaps he has other summoned beasts… He did just capture two tailed beasts in Kirigakure not long ago."
"Heh, don't call Uchiha Yu 'he,'" Orochimaru reminded with a sly smile. "You should address him as 'Master' or 'Lord.' Still… capturing two tailed beasts, as casually as catching stray cats and dogs—that does sound like him."
Garaga chuckled coldly, indifferent. Knowing Yu's temperament, sooner or later he would likely tire of a mere land-mount like itself.
By then, Garaga would surely retreat comfortably back into Ryūchi Cave.
After all, with Manda gone, few serpents there could challenge its dominance.
As for being used as Yu's steed for a few days—that was already fading from memory.
But then—
The ground convulsed with unprecedented violence.8
