[3rd POV]
Staring at Reed picking out his books, Wanda sipped on her tea, knowing that things would soon begin to rapidly pick up. And the shop would almost certainly begin to get very busy in the coming months.
The fact that Reed had entered her shop, meant that it was only a matter of time until the others began to enter soon. Wanda knew that the store would begin to get visited by a number of heroes and villains from the Marvel universe.
She expected that at the very least she would be getting visitors like Tony Stark, Hank Pym, Bruce Banner, and a number of others. Most likely she would also be seeing the rest of the Fantastic Four soon as well.
Especially Sue who would likely be interested in the books on biology, chemistry, and the areas that she was studying in. She would likely be similar to Reed in the respect that she was almost certainly going to be buying a lot of books.
Whereas Johnny Storm would most likely be more interested in attempting to flirt with her. Something that would likely end very badly, especially if Raven was there while it was happening. As the woman had a higher likelihood of killing them man than Wanda did.
While Ben would probably be more interested in the fictional work that she had been selling. Or the books that could potentially help him find a way to control his power, so that he can take a human form eventually.
She wasn't sure if that would be possible, due to the nature of his power. But she would be open to trying to help him. He deserved it afterall, as he was a good man in her eyes, and deserved to be able to take a human form, even if it was momentarily.
It wasn't just the Fantastic Four and Avengers that would likely begin to visit her shop, but also the X-Men. That was a group she was far more interested in than even the Avengers or Fantastic Four. As they held a lot of incredibly powerful mutants in their midst, including Jean Grey.
The woman who was host to one of the strongest entities in the entire Marvel Multiverse. A being that was one of the few in that place that could actually push her in battle, at least, the true form of the Phoenix Force could.
Aka the strongest form of it. Just like the Beyonder could likely give her a good fight, as would Molecule Man. Besides them, only the Living Tribunal, Oblivion, and maybe one or two others could even remotely compare to her in regards to the people from that place.
Wanda was very interested in meeting more of the cosmic entities out there, especially the ones from Marvel.
Watching as Reed picked out more books, she couldn't help but amusedly chuckle.
"It's a good thing he has that power of his, as I fear he'd never be able to carry all the books he's grabbing" Wanda said with a small chuckle, sipping on her herbal tea as Stephan sipped on his as well. He was honestly wondering if he should ask her for the recipe or how she made it, because her tea was still the best he had ever had.
And he's had a lot of tea over his years. But nothing compared to Wanda's, hell, nothing even came close.
"I have a feeling that he'd find a way to bring them back either way. And most likely that would end up involving him begging me to bring them back with him" Stephen responded with a chuckle of his own, watching as the man was positively needing out over all the books.
His pile was over 30 books big at this point, and it didn't look like it was going to be stopping anytime soon. Which considering who Reed was, the two of them were honestly surprised that he had not grabbed more than that at this point.
Wanda was fully expecting him to grab well over one hundred books, but it seemed he was controlling himself at the moment. Probably so he didn't bring about the wrath of his wife onto him. As Sue could be quite...scary when she is angry.
A happy wife equals a happy life.
"At this point I think he isn't buying more so that he can avoid the wrath of his wife" Wanda commented, noticing how the man was barely holding himself back from buying more, which was pretty much confirming her thoughts on what the man was doing.
She couldn't blame him.
"That is...the most likely scenario in this case" Stephen responded, noticing that the man was seemingly getting to the tail end of his hunt for books to buy. His selection had shot up to just a little over 45 books, and almost all of them were on physics, dimensions, and quantum mechanics.
Basically very very advanced sciences that the man would be able to use to push his research forwards by literal decades.
After the man finished his book selections, he began to walk over to the counter, using his powers to stretch to hold all the books safely so that none of them would fall to the ground.
"Quite the selection you've got there, but I suppose that all of those books will make the research that you conduct much easier to accomplish" Wanda said, impressed by the excellent selection of books.
The man had not just haphazardly grabbed books to read. No, he had grabbed the perfect books to read for the future, the perfect books to use in order to improve upon himself and the things that he is trying to do.
"That is exactly why I have chosen these books. They are much more advanced than anything we have on our world, and will be a vital help for some of the research projects I have been working on" Reed said, watching as Wanda began to check out each of the books.
He was watching the total order price go up, but was surpised with how cheap it actually was. The most expensive books he had gotten was the Gallifreyan ones, and the most expensive of them all only was a little over 300 dollars in price. He had not grabbed the best of them, as he understood nothing that was written inside, so he decided to start with the basics.
But even the basics are expensive, which makes sense if the history books on Gallifrey were right about just how insanely advanced they were as a civilization. So advanced that it far surpassed any civilization in his universe.
"Well, they were good choices" Wanda said, as the man saw the final price coming out to a little over two thousand dollars. Not that bad in price compared to what he was expecting, and not a problem for him to pay.
He just hoped that Sue wouldn't get pissed over this, as he wouldn't be able to come back to buy the truly expensive books that he wanted to get in the future.
"Wow...it's all so cheap! How do you make money off of this, if I may ask?" Reed asked as he paid for the books.
"Money is not what I do this for, Reed. I simply enjoy reading, and watching others love the same hobby as myself. And they are cheap because I can create an infinite amount of the books, so it would be unfair for me to price them too high. So, I simply price them at what I believe they are worth" Wanda replied with a smile as she put the books away into one of her book bags.
"And here, since you have ordered so much, you get a book bag for free. It'll allow you to carry a little over three thousand books inside. But it cannot be used for anything other than books, notes, and papers, so don't try to use it for anything else" Wanda said, handing the gobsmacked man the bag.
She had just casually made what was essentially a storage dimension for a simple book bag.
Truly, the more he looked at Wanda, the more awed he was over just how casually she did such incredible things. He wanted to ask how she had done this, but one look from Stephen had stopped him, and instead, he had just thanked her and bid her a farewell, with Stephen leaving a moment later, but not before buying a large stockpile of tea.
Watching as they left, Wanda smiled, one thought on her mind as she watched them go.
'...These coming weeks will certainly be...interesting'
