"My dad?" Ellie questioned in confusion.
Before Emma could respond, the call was received.
"Hello, Emma. What's the matter? Why are you calling me all of a sudden?"
"Good evening, Uncle," greeted Emma. "I hope I am not disturbing you."
A laugh sounded from the other side. "Why are you being polite? Did my daughter do anything?"
"Not yet," Emma replied, "But she might if you let her go around freely during the semester break."
Ellie stared at her friend with disbelief in her eyes, pointing towards herself.
"What do you suggest I do? This daughter of mine is completely hopeless," expressed the man.
"Uncle, why don't you get her a internship at RTS? It should keep her occupied," Emma said.
Betrayal crossed through Ellie's eyes. She tried to reach out for Emma's phone, but Emma stood up, raising the phone in her hand high.
"That's a good idea," Ellie's father stated, "I can hand her over to my sister. This will take trouble off my head. Thank you, Emma!"
