Chapter 1 - This is how it began

ring.....ring....ring

That was the sound that informed me that it was time to complete my dream.

But of course my sleeping self didn't care that I had things to do and turned off the alarm when it started to interfere with sleep.

Of course, knowing that the first alarm would fail to wake me up, I set another one to continue the task until I achieved it.

Although, it seems that the second alarm will suffer the same fate as its predecessor, which happened shortly after.

And that's the third alarm I set, a harbinger of the many alarms I set to force myself to wake up if necessary, something that thankfully wasn't necessary.

Overcome by the stubbornness of the alarms that force me to wake up, I get up with some drowsiness and then look at the alarm clock which helped me wake up along with its alarms, which I thank by turning off the current alarm and its potential successors until tomorrow when its services are needed again.

With the conclusion of the waking problem I sit on the edge of my bed thinking about how I was going to face the day, after all today was my first day at a new high school and as icing on the cake in a new city.

That combination of events provided the perfect opportunity for them to become incredibly nervous, whether about how they would fit in at high school or about the possible wrong turns they might take while completing their missions.

After all, I got to where I am by fulfilling my missions and preparing myself to become a successful man, something that could go to waste if his missions went off the rails and destroyed his future success.

Putting her worries aside for a moment, when she looked at the time and realized she had less time than she initially thought, she had to prepare as formally as possible for high school and make a good first impression, and she had to do it quickly if she wanted to arrive early.

But of course, that wasn't easy; she had to shower, change, cook, get ready, make sure everything was ready to go... and all in less than two hours, not counting the time it took to travel to high school.

By the time I considered myself ready to go to high school, I walked out the door and closed it behind me with some trepidation, knowing that once I started walking I wouldn't be able to stop and that this would be a turning point in my life.

And when I arrived at my new high school, I realized I couldn't have been more right about one statement. The reason? I met "her," and at that moment, I knew it was my destiny to be there for "her," to help her in everything, to love her unconditionally, and to protect her from any evil she might encounter. "She" was my soulmate, and I would definitely have her by my side to care for and love her. That was my mission, my destiny, and my duty.
