Wanda and Jean stood in their respective positions. It seemed that nothing had changed except for their hair fluttering wildly. Instead the space around them was filled with two entangled energies colliding.
Chaos Magic versus Phoenix Force.
These two forces which were definitely among the top powers in the entire universe constantly collided and exploded around them. The ground beneath their feet remained normal. But the ground outside their immediate area had been quickly annihilated and turned into complete nothingness under the collision of the two energies.
The metal rods that Tony had shot earlier had been turned into nothingness by the battle between Wanda and Jean. This made Tony astonished at their power.
In order to prevent Wanda and Jean's battle from interfering with innocent people around them, Sebastian had silently taken out his wand. He constructed a protective magical layer to limit their battle to a certain range. Because this protective layer was constructed by borrowing the power of the Space Stone, the space around Wanda and Jean was isolated. The power they released would not affect the different spatial dimensions of reality.
Boom!
A violent explosion erupted.
Wanda and Jean each flew backward.
Jean's expression was impassive. The Phoenix Force radiating from her was becoming increasingly violent. Wanda's face was solemn. She clasped her hands together in front of her. Her fingers danced continuously. Threads of red mist flowed and gathered around her fingers. They transformed into a highly concentrated energy ball within her palms!
Within Wanda's concentrated energy ball were the combined effects of three spells. Blasting and petrifying and eye-blinding. It was no longer a simple energy attack. Rather it was a blend of powerful negative magical effects. It was a semi-created form of Wanda's own magic.
Of course this kind of combined magic was only possible for Wanda.
Without her unique ability to modify probability and her Chaos Magic, it would have been impossible to so easily blend the effects of these spells into her attacks.
Furthermore Wanda could combine not only blasting and petrifying and eye-blinding spells. She could also combine other spells together. Each combination had its own unique tactical effects.
Bang!
The red energy ball shot out. It exploded in front of Jean.
The energy balls combined with the blasting spell were several times more powerful than simple energy attacks. Combined with the disruptive effects of the petrification and eye-blinding spells, Jean was disrupted. Her movements became slightly sluggish. Her vision became blurry.
Noticing Jean's reaction, Wanda immediately stepped up her attack.

The surrounding protective boundary formed by Sebastian suddenly vibrated inexplicably.
Jean's power gradually seeped beyond the boundary. It was affecting matter in reality. It was transforming it into a mass of dust and gravel that gradually dissipated.
At this moment Jean suddenly stretched out her arms. She emitted a sound similar to an eagle's cry mixed with a scream. The Phoenix Force within her body erupted even more deeply. It instantly destroyed the protective boundary that Sebastian had constructed. It completely destroyed the surrounding ground and buildings.
Fortunately Sebastian had immediately sent all the nearby residents away before the boundary was destroyed. This prevented casualties. Otherwise Jean's outburst could have killed dozens of innocent people.
Looking at Wanda who had crossed her arms in front of her in a defensive posture, Sebastian reached out and grabbed her. Wanda disappeared from her spot and appeared beside him.
After checking Wanda's condition and confirming there were no major injuries, Sebastian said to her. "Wanda you have done well. Leave the rest to me."
Exhaling heavily, Wanda nodded and whispered to Sebastian. "Sebastian be careful. Jean's Phoenix Force is too powerful. It grants her strong resistance to magic. Your magic may not have much effect on her."
"Do not worry. I understand the situation." Turning to Reed who was calculating and testing something nearby, Sebastian said directly. "Reed how long will it take?"
Reed without even looking up replied. "It will take a while longer. A few more bursts like that from Jean should allow us to accurately capture the frequency and relevant data of the Phoenix Force."
"Okay leave it to me!"
With that Sebastian flicked his wand slightly and stepped toward Jean.
Watching Sebastian approaching, Jean or rather the Phoenix Force within her felt a faint sense of threat and unease. Like a beast with only the most basic instinctual awareness, the Phoenix Force immediately erupted with powerful force. It attacked Sebastian first.
Energy resembling phantom flames poured out toward Sebastian.
At this moment Sebastian raised his hand. The tip of his wand flickered with yellow-green flames. A stream of energy composed of yellow-green flames shot out from the tip. It instantly changed direction several times at right angles in mid-air. It struck Jean from her right side.
Finger of Death!
The phantom flame-like Phoenix Force confronted Sebastian's Finger of Death magic head-on.
The Phoenix Force emanating from the power of life reacted violently to this lethal attack. It unleashed a staggering burst of energy. With a deafening roar Jean's body was flung forward by the force of the explosion. She pierced through a half-destroyed house to her left. She plowed a deep furrow into the ground.
At the same time the surrounding now empty houses began to twist and turn. They transformed into countless cross swords that spun and danced in the air. They rained down on Jean like a torrential shower.
However just as they approached Jean, the cross swords transformed by Transfiguration immediately annihilated. They turned into dust and dissipated without a trace.
Without the slightest hint of dismay, Sebastian had clearly anticipated this outcome.
He raised his left hand. A large amount of electricity and black mist flowed through it. They transformed into a small thundercloud. He raised his wand and pointed at the thundercloud in his left hand. Immediately the sky above reacted dramatically.
The mist surged. It transformed into a thick black cloud in the blink of an eye. Amidst flashes of lightning and thunder, the cloud spun rapidly. It formed a huge vortex within it. Countless lightning bolts converged at the center of the vortex. They formed a giant ball of lightning that resembled a massive eye.
