Chapter 18 - Students meet a Dragon

(Clara's POV)

"So Clara, why didn't the other groups let you join them?" Roy asked me as we walked down the male's dormitory. "You have a great physique, making you one of the best 'testers' for this project."

"I-I think it's because I'm a Dark elf. We are usually considered to be a race of evil, while the elves are of pure goodness.

But I'm surprised that the so-called 'False Genius' saw through my race and saw beyond what the others could."

"Not only that, he accepted me even after hearing I was a commoner. All the others just shrugged me off." Amber said.

"Guess he's not as flat-minded as people say he is." Roy also joined in.

He stopped in front of a door while holding the card Zephyr gave him. "This is it."

He placed his hand on the door knob and pushed. The door creaked open revealing an empty room. There was no one.

"Are you sure this is it?" Amber asked, eyeing Roy.

"Yeah. I'm positive." Roy answered.

But I could not hold back the feeling that we were not alone. My ears twitched uncontrollably as though there was danger inside the room.

"Clara, are you okay? Your ears are twitching." Roy asked, his voice filled with concern.

Before I could answer, a voice spoke out.

"Who are you supposed to be?"

The three of us turned to look at the bed. On it, a small white dragon sat, its dark blue eyes glaring at eyes.

"We are..." Roy opened his mouth to speak... but couldn't.

"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?" The dragon asked, its voice sarcastic.

Suddenly, we found ourselves being enveloped with a thick, violet aura.

"Stop at once, Scephyr."
