"So now that all of you have grouped up, I will now tell all of you about the assignment." Mrs. Suzune spoke, her voice cheerful.
Zephyr did not even bother looking at his teacher. Instead, he sat down on his chair as the others didn't even shift their gazes for even a moment.
"The Lord of the Martial Arts Order: Sir Arthur Von Silverwing will be attending our school for the international week of Martial Arts.
Each year of students have been given a different assignment to show off their martial prowess. All of you have received the assignment to construct a Mana circle on a useful skill concerning martial arts.
You will all have to construct your circles with the rest of your group."
She explained.
"You have one week. Good luck!" She said as she sat down on her chair.
The rest of the students looked at each other, bewildered. Similarly, both Roy and her faced Zephyr, a look of bewilderment on their faces.
"So what are we going to do?" Amber asked.
"Maybe something modest? Like an enhancement skill!" Roy exclaimed, his eyes glittering with excitement.
"Sure. Whatever floats your boat." Zephyr replied in his usual, cold demeanour.
"E-excuse me..." A voice interrupted the trio. "I was wondering if I could join your group?"
The three looked back at where the voice came from.
In front of them, a tall, muscular woman stood. Her dark brown skin tone complimented her long, braided black hair. And the feature that pointed out the most were her long, pointed ears.
'A Dark Elf...' Zephyr thought to himself, eyeing the girl.
"Sorry. I don't think our leader will let you in." Roy answered. But before they could say anything else, Zephyr spoke.
"Sure. You can join," both Amber and Roy looked at Zephyr, confused and surprised.
"Thank you so much!" The girl squealed in happiness.
Roy stared at Zephyr for a few moments before looking back at the girl. "What's your name?"
"I am Clara," she answered.
"Last name?"
"I don't think you would have heard of it. I am a peas- commoner." The elf stuttered.
Zephyr gazed at the girl for a few moments.
"Come to my room after school. We'll discuss about the assignment."
