"You got everything right?"
Ask Jun. He was more nervous then his little brother in his first day of high school.
XiangXiang nodded. He just looking at his brother who look more nervous then himself.
"Well, let's go then"
Jun said. XiangXiang nodded.
"Could you at least said 'yes brother'. It was boring when you just nodded"
Jun pinch XiangXiang cheeks. His little brother getting more boring after he grew up. His heart start to feels hurt.
"You hurt my tiny heart, you know?"
Jun pretend to cry.
"Get married then"
Said XiangXiang brutally. He fastest his steps.
"You hurt my tiny heart, you know."
XiangXiang imitate Jun word annoyingly.
"Liar"
XiangXiang mumble in anger and get in the car.
BAM!!!!
A loud bam from Jun's car. The sound of XiangXiang slamming the door with the power of anger. It's hurt to hear. "Urgh...so fierce. My XiangXiang is scary" Jun swallowed his saliva. His little brother anger is hard to coax. Expecially when you don't even know what the cause is.
After he introduced his girlfriend, XiangXiang attitude towards him drastically flipped over. Getting anger easily and always sulking without any cause.
"Don't get angry baby. Don't ruin you cute face in your first day of high school."
Jun smile at his angry little brother sweetly before he turn on his car. Ready to drive his only little brother to face his new challenge in his life. "Haaa...children sure grew up in the blink of your eyes."
XiangXiang just kept silent. Lazy to argue. He adore his brother so much. Yet Jun get a girlfriend and will get married soon. He will be left alone for sure. XiangXiang felt being betrayal by his important person. It hurts as hell.
Arrived at school, there was already a lot of new students. XiangXiang start to feels nervous. His palm sweating as hell. Jun smile. Its hard to see those face after their fight.
XiangXiang steps forward. Not a single glance at Jun. Jun open his mouth wide. As wide as hippo yawn. Can believe he was being left alone by his cute little brother.
His mind already imagined how cute his little brother could be when he cling and whimpered on him. Yet he was been treated as a dried leaf and being blown by cold breeze.
"Auch... its hurtful my dear XiangXiang. You don't want your brother anymore? XiangXiang baby!"
Jun yell at his little brother who already ten meters away. Everyone eyes was on them.
"Urgh..annoying" XiangXiang give Jun his middle finger and walk away.
Jun just smiled with XiangXiang angry attitude. Kind of cute. He is the one who rise him after all. Jun smile proudly.
XiangXiang walk to his classroom with annoying feelings still linger in his heart. "I will stay at the dorm for sure." XiangXiang grips his bag strap.
"XiangXiang!"
XiangXiang turned his head. Looking for the owner of the voice who calling him out of nowhere.
YuanYuan walk with his warm smile towards him. XiangXiang smile. All of his nervousness that kept bugging him flew away together with his annoying feelings. "I'm saved."
"YuanYuan...."
XiangXiang whimpered and run to hug his beloved friend.
"Thank God... I taught I was alone here..."
XiangXiang clung on YuanYuan shoulder like a koala.
"Okay. Okay. I'm here with you."
YuanYuan stroke XiangXiang back who whimpered non stop. Actually XiangXiang was a shy boy in front of stranger yet naughty with the person near to him. As his best friend who grew up together since nursery, YuanYuan job was protecting and being XiangXiang comfort slave.
"I hope we're in the same class. I'm in class B. How about you?"
XiangXiang unwrapped his hand on YuanYuan shoulder. He fixed his uniform that was crooked here and there.
"Same."
YuanYuan answer bring shines on XiangXiang face. How lucky his life could be.
"YuanYuan... I really love you..."
XiangXiang try to hug YuanYuan but being pushed away.
"That enough. We will be late if we still chit-chating over here."
YuanYuan walk away and followed by XiangXiang who already start to sulking. YuanYuan looked at XiangXiang with his side eyes. He shake his head. "Childish.." YuanYuan smile.
"YuanYuan, XiangXiang over here!"
Both XiangXiang and YuanYuan looked over where the voice came from. LinLin already there and saved a sit for both of them.
"Yo.. we're together again."
YuanYuan and XiangXiang give high five to LinLin. The three of them are friends from primary to secondary school. And now they also together in their high school. Can't be separated indeed.
After lunch, they walk around to watch how their senior bust a gut to recruit first year student to join their clubs.
"Wanna join any club?"
Ask YuanYuan.
"Don't know. Which clubs are the best here?"
LinLin take a flyer from one of his senior and kept walking following both XiangXiang and YuanYuan. His eyes was all round after he read the flyer. "Dance club."
"How about this?"
LinLin stop his steps. He showed both XiangXiang and YuanYuan the flyer he just pick. He smile widely followed by XiangXiang and YuanYuan.
The three of them was rhythm gymnas member when they were in secondary school. Just a normal member toug. They never get any opportunities to enter any tournament. But their passion for dancing is unlimited.
They walk back to where LinLin got the flyer with hope as high as Everest.
"We want to join!"
They speak up synchronously. Clearly and loudly. Silent. Everyone eyes gathered on the three of them.
XiangXiang pursed his lips. His face turned red as tomato. YuanYuan swallowed his saliva. But his face color doesn't change. Only LinLin stay sturdy and full of confidence. There was no word as 'shame' on his life dictionary.
"Phew. Such a high spirit the three of you."
Said the senior in charge. He crooked a smile. Still in shock.
"Well. Welcome to our club."
Said the other senior. His smile so warm that make the three of them melting.
"Come with us."
He said. Not only his smile was warm, his voice also warm. Totally mother like.
"Enough XinXin. Stop glaring at new students. It was hard enough to recruit a new member. So stop that attitude and make them run away"
He push the senior called XinXin to move. The three of them swallowed their saliva. Feels like they make a wrong move and being trap inside the tigers den.
"Just ignore him. I'm JiaJia. Second year student. This smug senior is XinXin also second year."
The three of them nodded while they looked at senior XinXin face that fierce as hungry tiger while he glare at senior JiaJia.
"Is this okay?"
XiangXiang whispered in fear. Both YuanYuan and LinLin just shake their heads. Totally lost their words in fear.
