Chapter 123 - CHAPTER 123

A Fierce Battle with the A-B Brothers

Killer Bee wielded seven swords—each one gripped by a different part of his body: elbows, knees, armpits, and even between his teeth.

Each blade was infused with his Super Vibrato Lightning Release Chakra, greatly enhancing their sharpness and lethality.

> "Wild Dance of the Seven Swords!"

With unpredictable, acrobatic movements, Killer Bee unleashed a storm of slashes at Chihiro. His unorthodox sword style, combined with his taijutsu, made him a whirlwind of steel.

Chihiro didn't rely on Thunder Breathing—at least, not yet. Instead, he channeled Lightning Release chakra through his body, enhancing his speed and reflexes, then met Bee head-on with his ninja blade.

Thanks to the insight of his three-tomoe Sharingan, Chihiro was able to track the erratic trajectory of Bee's swords and parry every strike with precision.

Watching from a distance, **A—the Fourth Raikage—**waited for an opening.

The moment Chihiro shifted between Bee's attacks, A vanished with the Lightning Release Body Flicker Technique, appearing behind him in a blur of speed.

> "Guillotine Drop!"

A gathered Lightning Release chakra into his leg, raised it high, and brought it crashing down.

Chihiro attempted to evade, but Killer Bee had already reacted—summoning two massive chakra-generated octopus tentacles from the Eight Tails to ensnare them all.

The tentacles cut off Chihiro's escape, preventing the use of Substitution Jutsu or the Body Flicker Technique.

While the tentacles held him in place, Killer Bee struck even more ferociously.

A's leg connected—slamming Chihiro into the ground. The earth cracked under the force.

Outside the tentacle barrier, seven Hidden Leaf shinobi, as well as several Cloud sensory-nin, watched helplessly, their vision obscured.

When Killer Bee finally retracted the tentacles, the Leaf ninja were stunned—Chihiro lay twisted and motionless, his limbs bent at unnatural angles. A and Killer Bee stood unharmed.

Had Chihiro—the Blood-Eyed Shura of the Leaf—been defeated so easily?

> "The Leaf's so-called prodigy wasn't much after all. You idiot! You moron!"

—Killer Bee

Despite the victory, A's expression remained tense.

> "Something's off... that was too easy," he muttered.

Suddenly, Chihiro's body twitched.

A and Bee both leapt back instinctively.

From the mouth of the broken body, a pair of pale hands emerged—and a new, wet-skinned Chihiro crawled out, completely unharmed.

> "Wha—?!" A's eyes narrowed. "What is that technique?"

Bee blinked in disbelief.

> "He just... shed his body like a snake…"

It was one of Orochimaru's forbidden techniques—Orochimaru-style Body Replacement Technique—taught to Chihiro in secret. Using a discarded external body as a decoy, he escaped serious injury by emerging from within.

> "Not bad," Chihiro said, clapping mockingly. "Your teamwork really forced me to stay on the defensive. I even had to use that technique just to survive."

Then, Chihiro's Sharingan shifted. The three tomoe spun—and evolved.

Mangekyō Sharingan.

> "Manji! Fujigaku!"

Both eyes activated their individual Mangekyō abilities. Blood tears streamed from his eyes.

> "Bee! His chakra just changed!" A barked.

"I feel it too," Bee growled. "It's insane…"

A acted first—vanishing with Lightning Release Body Flicker—and reappeared in front of Chihiro with a devastating:

> "Liger Bomb!"

But just as A was about to connect, his Lightning Armor abruptly flickered and dissipated. His speed dropped. His pupils constricted.

> "What? My Lightning Release—deactivated?!"

Chihiro's blade was already swinging for his neck.

Reacting purely on instinct, A twisted back, barely avoiding decapitation and reactivating his chakra armor just in time.

As he retreated, he raised a hand to stop Killer Bee.

> "Wait! Something's wrong with him," A warned. "When I got close, my Lightning Chakra Mode broke down."

> "Broke down?" Bee asked. "I thought you turned it off on purpose, bro."

> "Idiot! Why would I turn off my own defense in the middle of an attack?!"

> "Oi—ignoring me in the middle of a fight? That's rude," Chihiro said, placing his hand on his sword hilt, body lowering.

> "Bee! Take the lead!"

> "Thunder Breathing, First Form: Thunderclap and Flash – Godspeed!"

Chakra surged. The lightning around Chihiro roared with such intensity it made even veteran shinobi flinch.

A had only a second to react. He immediately activated his enhanced Lightning Armor, maximizing his speed and defense, and dashed toward Bee to shield him.

Too late.

A gaping slash tore across A's chest.

Blood splattered onto Killer Bee's face.

> "BRO!!"

Killer Bee froze—his brother had taken the full brunt of the attack just to shield him.

Chihiro now stood behind them, sword dripping with blood.

> "As expected of the Blue Lightning. Even with Godspeed, you managed to react." Chihiro flicked the blood off his blade. "But tell me, Bee... are you really not going to use your full power yet?"

Bee gritted his teeth as red chakra began to boil from his body—his Version 1 Tailed Beast Cloak forming, the telltale chakra tails whipping behind him.

> "I'm calm, bro. But now it's my turn!"

> "Wild Dance of the Seven Swords!"

With enhanced strength, Bee launched a flurry of savage strikes. Covered in the chakra cloak, his speed and power dwarfed his previous attacks.

But—once again—every time the chakra-infused blades touched Chihiro, the Tailed Beast chakra dispersed on contact.

> "What the hell—?!" Bee grunted.

Chihiro closed in during one of Bee's sword rotations and stabbed his blade toward Bee's abdomen.

An octopus tentacle shot out—blocking the blade—but the sword tip still punctured flesh.

> "I heard Jinchūriki heal quickly. Let's put that to the test," Chihiro said coldly.

> "Thunder Breathing, Fifth Form: Heat Lightning!"

Chihiro's blade lit up, discharging an intense, heat-laced lightning arc into Bee's wound.

A smoking, cauterized hole appeared in Bee's side. The cloak wavered.

> "Damn it—Lariat!" A shouted, fully transformed into lightning.

He slammed his arm toward Chihiro, but Chihiro evaded smoothly, then took a step back.

A immediately grabbed Bee's arm and retreated, putting distance between them.
