Chapter 36
Alpha Kendrick didn't let his hand off this steering wheel while the truck went down the rough road. Rae was still resting against the window, she wasn't even moving. He stole glances at her hoping that she would just wake up. The road was dark and lonely, they were the only one cutting through that route. Marcus and Jerome sat in the back, their weapons in hand ready for anything.
"Is this the right route, Alpha Kendrick?" Marcus's voice was a loud one so Alpha Kendrick heard his words.
"Taking her to Alpha Jones pack is very risky and a long journey that we're just starting." Jerome let out his thoughts, wishing that Rae should just die and they can return back to the pack.
Kendrick kept his eyes on the road. "I don't have a choice, Marcus. Our Healer's done all he can, and Rae's still out. I'm not sitting around waiting for a miracle that might never come."
"You don't trust the Healer, I saw the look on his face. He was pissed." Jerome added,
