Chapter 35
Alpha Kendrick tried taking his mind off the possibility that he might never see Rae open her eyes. He tried, but sadly, it wasn't working for him.
He stared at Rae's body, wondering if the Healer was working on her.
"I think it's time for me to call someone better than the Healer or maybe another Healer from another pack. I need to know what's wrong with Rae." Alpha Kendrick divulged as he left the room, dashing out. He hurried back to the castle on foot.
"Get me a horse. I need six men ready to ride with me."
"I'll go with you." Jerome offered,
"Who's going to rule your pack while you're gone?" Alpha Kendrick inquired wondering if he had appointed a Beta without his consent.
"My wife's going to take care of the pack members."
"You killed someone without my consent, I thought you would have selected a Beta in my absence."
