Ch85 Although they were officially out of the castle all the danger had not completely ended yet.
As the world was not over it was clear to the three of them that the king was not the purpose to ending the world to being like this and that it was something else entirely.
It was clear that once again they must keep pushing themselves to go on. That they had to keep going and the only way they could go realistically was to go towards the desert that they saw in the distance.
Now passing the forest completely and knowing that there were other areas perhaps just like this one it was just like a question that floated in their mind.
"Hey, don't you think that killing the king wasn't the end to all this right that there's other things out there on this continent that could be the answer to ending it right? "Said irene with curiosity inside of her mind obviously shown to them.
"Yeah, i think your right this is not the end there's clearly way more to this conclusion. "Said lucas pondering about it as they walked towards the desert.
"Hey! Let me go already i don't want you near me! "Said the princess as she was clearly not feeling safe at all as she had basically rope like handcuffs on her hands.
"Honestly i knew we should've left her anyway guys doesn't this desert reminds you of the rodeos that would happen in town "Said irene gleefully.
Though neither shinya nor lucas replied as they did not know what irene was referring too they were from a different continent then her.
So, the only thing they could do was listen to what she was saying knowing full well they did not know what it was.
"Uh honestly no clue what that is."Said shinya confusedly.
"Well, that's okay it was just this great thing but now they hardly even have the shows anymore tbh i mean we also had like steampunk tournaments where the strongest steampunk warriors would come across the world and fight. "Said irene reminiscing on her past.
Ignoring her past now she focused on the present.
The fact that they were now about to go across this desert like biome that was in front of them.
With the sand all over it and literally almost nothing in front of their eyes it seemed hard to find the truth of this situation entirely.
Seeing cactuses and weeds all over the ground and the shining sun now out in front of the desert clearly things like time were not set in stone in this place.
The three of them well four of them still had the chance to figure out what exactly was happening in this place as they marched on forward.
That's when it happened though as quick as he had vanished before he appeared to them once again. Appearing just like a flash in the air he was here.
It was Legolas this time seeming completely battered and beat up it made them wonder just what sort of fight he had gotten into for someone of his power to end up like this it shocked the three of them to their core.
"Yes, i know you see me like this when yet against the serpent i had barely sustained any damage, well I'm here to tell you the truth of the situation. "Said Legolas leaving his intentions behind mysteriously.
"Well, the truth? Just fucking say it already i doubt there's anything or any words we can't handle at this point "Said lucas with irritation in his voice.
"Well, it seems that the castle that you have won against the king of the castle that you have killed was not the only one. There were multiple castles with multiple king's multiple vast open areas just like this desert and the forest and open areas that you have explored previously. It seems that it's not the defeat of the king is the objective, and it is in fact something else entirely. "Said Legolas while he was still pondering on his next words to say.
It was clear to shinya that there was even more to his story, but this brought up the question.
If this wasn't the only castle which castle, was it that mattered which king, was it that they had to kill to get out of here? Did they even have to kill the king it was Legolas that told them that in the first place.
Slowly while things were being pieced together it also seemed like they were being strung apart in a way bigger operation across this whole continent.
"Well continuing it seems you were aware of the truth how this is one of the continents and that it was never just a simulation or someone's imagination this is in fact. A carbon copy almost of one of the continents. Which begs the question if we are just going to see more continents being shown here perhaps this isn't the only one. There are more possibilities than we can think of there's also the fact not a single fighter has died? Just what are the conditions or criteria for a change of continent is it death? "Said Legolas leaving his questions open ended in the air but also showing the truth to the four of them.
'Well, if it is that way that one of the fighters needs to die, we can only wonder who it would need to be I'd say it's probably the one that came from this continent would be my guess. "Said lucas trying to articulate his thoughts into words as shinya could see the deep concentration all over his face.
"Guys i get it i get it were thinking all of this, but this won't change the facts! All we can do is keep pressing on. "Said irene.
"No i disagree, i think we wait i think now is the time we wait and figure out or find out what's going on truly here i don't think we need to do any more action i mean if all the fighters were separated across this huge continent that's basically replicated to life its not digital, then somebody else will solve the situation we don't need to do anything anymore. "Said shinya completely logical.
"I also agree this is not the time for us to do anything anymore me and my comrades have already defeated another one of the castles and it was not the solution woman, besides you are inferior to men stop your speaking at once. "Said Legolas his clearly background and the way his continent treated woman now showing.
Both shinya and lucas didn't say anything to that cause now all they could do is wait in the desert.
All they could do is wait.
