Night had deepened, in the bustling and lively New York. Although the city lights were dazzling, the pedestrians on the streets had become sparse.
Standing by the sea, the Empire State Building was a landmark of New York. Even amid the towering buildings of the city, the Empire State Building, with more than a hundred floors, looked down upon them all.
Gusts of night wind swept across the rooftop of the Empire State Building. Under the stars and moon, the rooftop platform could be seen with more than a dozen people sitting cross-legged.
Among them was a man dressed in a large robe with a cloak, sporting a turban and headband, as typical of an Arab. There were also South Americans with curly hair and coffee skin, and robust Rus Empire men with yellow hair and broad shoulders...
The dozen or so men were from various countries around the world, some middle-aged, others elderly, and even a few young men.
