Within the beginning of the first universes there was an evil darkness that spread rapidly. It started as an abstraction, corrupting good souls, ruining planets. But of course, if there is evil, there is good. There are different kinds of heroes all around that saved others. One being named the Red Messiah. His body glows red but his head normal, he has a white cape that also glowed red. There is another hero, Blue Savior, her body and cape glows in the same way Red Messiah's body does, but she glows blue. Red Messiah's real name is Ikizuma and Blue Savior's name is Renakama. Red Messiah and Blue Savior are their dubbed names. There is an ongoing war between good and evil. It is likely that this war will never end. On planet earth in universe 1, Ikizuma and Renakama walk the streets of Tokyo after battling a kaiju, receiving much praise from the people that watched.
Renakama: It's hard to find a good web novel these days…everything's about systems or harems or whatever.
Ikizuma: Why not just read light novels?
Renakama: I do, but there's not that many good ones. People are so unoriginal, where's the creativity?
Ikizuma: Maybe out of all the copy and pastes there's a hidden gem.
Renakama: No. Not at all.
Ikizuma: (Laughs softly) Not at all? Okay then.
They make their way into a coffee shop. They order their coffee and sit down, continuing their nerdy chat. The sun nears its total sink below the horizon, they begin to head home. They wear regular attire, Ikizuma wears a plain shirt and jeans, Renakama wears a frilly skirt and also a plain shirt.
Renakama: Well, catch you later, Ikizuma~!
Ikizuma: Yeah, see ya later…
Ikizuma watches with a smile as Renakama turns and walks away, walks home. Later as Ikizuma boards the bullet train, at Sarukani Station, he sees there is no one in there, so he lies down on the seats comfortably. The bullet train speeds along its tracks. The orange sunset glows both beautifully and gloomily. But then it suddenly turns black.
???: Tell me…what makes one a hero? A savior? A messiah?
Ikizuma quickly sits up and looks around for the voice. He sees a school girl, a white button-up shirt with a black tie accompanied with a black skirt.
Ikizuma: Who are you? How did you get here?
???: Maria Goldenheart.
Ikizuma: What?
Maria: Maria Goldenheart, that's my name. It is nice to meet you.
Ikizuma: Are you behind this? Why is the sky black all of a sudden? There's no way the sun set already, I just saw…
Maria: It didn't set. The sky's black because I am here.
Ikizuma: What?
Maria: Darkness. Evil. Rage. Corruption. Void, among more, I am exactly those things.
Ikizuma: Uhm, okay? What does that mean for me? Why are you here?
Maria: Well, if you can't figure it out already, you're good, I am the opposite.
Ikizuma: So you wanna purge my goodness then. I see.
Maria: Yes. You can't stop me though. I have 14,266,841,909,246,181,849 abilities, whatever you do, I'm guaranteed to counter it.
Ikizuma: What? But how can you have that many abilities? Is that even possible? Is there even that many things to even do in general?
Without answering, Maria ends up right next to Ikizuma in Planck time. He flinches, she smirks confidently. Ikizuma thrusts his hand forward, his body turns red, his head remaining normal, a red glowing cape manifests around his shoulders and flows behind his back.
Maria: Red Messiah…seeing it in person is much different than seeing it on my phone. Hard to believe that someone like you is a hero, just looking at you.
Ikizuma: I'll take you down…right now.
Ikizuma and Maria begin to battle, however, the bullet train doesn't seem damaged in the slightest and Maria simply crosses her arms as she somehow counters every attack.
Ikizuma: What ability could you be using right now?
Maria: Invisible Barrier. Invisible because it transcends dimensions, a barrier because it's impenetrable. My arsenal is so vast because many of my abilities are extremely specific, such as being able to manipulate specifically the 88th hair strand of someone's head, or being able to click the off button of every Korean remote. Get what I mean?
Ikizuma: How absurd, wouldn't useless abilities make up 99% of your abilities?
Maria: No, because I also have the ability to change my abilities to whatever I want.
Ikizuma: Fine. I'll just have to beat you with my will to live!
Maria: I'll use another one of my abilities, erasing specifically any target around me that uses their will to fight.
Ikizuma disappears. The sky remains black, and the bullet train goes silent besides the sound of its continuous stroll. With one hand on her hip Maria laughs. But then a red light dashes out of no where and slams into her back, causing her to fly and hit the wall. The red light changes form, it's Ikizuma.
Maria: How could you have come back from nothing?!
Ikizuma: My will!
Ikizuma dashes forward, his glowing red fists plowing into Maria over and over.
Maria: My ability, make everything around me stop!
Everything froze, including Izikuma. Maria stands up and dusts herself off, she pants heavily as her legs tremble.
Maria: This wasn't…supposed to…
She falls to the cold floor, desperately clinging onto consciousness. She didn't realize she would need to enhance her perception to catch up with Ikizuma. She had moved 61,800,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times faster than light to merely intimidate Ikizuma, she obviously didn't keep this speed. Everything is still frozen around her as she lays on the floor healing herself, she gets up.
Maria: My ability…
All of a sudden— there are cracks rippling through the air itself. Before she can finish, distortion within time-space ends up resuming all around, Ikizuma able to move again. Without wasting any time he manifests an energy dagger and spirals it into Maria's side, her blood splattering on the wall behind her. She shrieks in pain.
Maria: My ability…Body Reconstruction!
Maria takes her hand and presses it against Ikizuma's chest, in which his body begins to distort. His head becomes his right hand and his right hand becomes his head. Thrown off balance, Ikizuma falls over. He lifts his arm and thrashes around. Maria heals her injury, regenerating that part of her torso.
Maria: Did you…really think I'd go down so easily?
Ikizuma: No…of course I didn't…I'm only fighting after all…of course I'd make fatal moves like that. I'm confident but I'm not an idiot.
Maria: What can you do now? I've changed your anatomy, you'll be thrown off balance for a good while!
But Ikizuma gets up, he lifts his arm and faces Maria. He lunges forward and throws his heel into her throat, then while in mid-air, takes his other foot and drills it into her chest, she flies to the wall. She spits out blood, nursing her throat and chest, she collapses onto the floor trembling.
Ikizuma: It's a shame you aren't made for fighting. You have to say your abilities to use them, and your body is just weak.
Maria: You bastard…! I'll kill you!
Her body distorts, her body becomes that of a male, she grows taller and bigger. Her skin becomes pale white, almost as paper, her clothes rip. This isn't a "she" anymore. She, or rather, its body is now muscular and abnormally large, having to bend over. It has no hair anywhere at all, its body can be described as large and built, perhaps, even attractive, but it has a wicked smile with perfect white teeth, stretching quite literally ear to ear. Its eyes isn't sunken, but its like it has matte black eye shadow around its eyes with black iris'. Ikizuma looks at it with fear.
Maria: I'm not Maria.
Ikizuma: What are you?
Maria: I'm the nightmare that every god has. I am fear. I am evil. I'm not a monster. I am the monster. I am Monster.
