Chapter 334

The word Filth was etched so deep, it left scars he would carry forever. Unhealable scars. The next time Ronan met that man, he would die. That was a promise. Ronan didn't forget.

He had been waiting, counting, holding back his rage, biding his time. But Clara had chosen to confront the man here and now. Surely there was no way he would leave alive. He would be executed.

"What about the wife? Was she saved?" one man asked, eyes red with disbelief.

Clara shook her head. The woman had died later—from dehydration and lack of care.

"Kill the filth. Kill the useless father. Nothing else."

The crowd erupted. Rage and hatred washed over the courtroom. This man deserves death. Nothing else.

The accused was led away, destined for execution. Ronan's gaze didn't change much, but a faint satisfaction flitted through him. He wouldn't need to execute his second plan to save himself. Clara was handling everything.
