Sometime has passed Celestia and Lorien were reunited with Luna and during that time Lorien would watch Twilight Sparkle and her friends learn different lessons on friendship all the while still questions if Celestia made the right choice. Then one day Lorien would notice things that shouldn't be possible like cotton candy cloud that rain chocolate milk that are somehow making apples on trees as large as a pony's head while the legs of little critters become as long as a giraffe then after Twilight arrived she tried to use a failsafe spell that she learn but it would fail leading to Twilight to come up with a plan which would succeed then the mane six would receive a letter fro princess Celestia which just so happens to be a summons to which they would answer. Upon arrive in Canterlot where princess Celestia would explain what is causing leading to Celestia to explain the strange things that are happen which are being caused by someone who was defeat a long time ago who is called Discord the spirit of chaos. Celestia would then explain before she, Luna and Lorien stood up to Discord he had ruled Equestria in an eternal state of chaos and unhappiness then seeing the misery of all earth ponies, unicorns and pegasi the three of us knew Discord had to be stop so while Luna and I searched for the Elements of Harmony Lorien would fight Discord long enough until we return with the Elements which we would use to defeat Discord by turning him to stone. Celestia would then explain that they had hoped the spell that turn Discord to stone would last forever but since me and Luna are no longer connected to the elements it's up to you six to defeat Discord to which Twilight asks why us then thanks to Pinkie points out that the six of them are in a stain glass window show their victory over Nightmare Moon leading to Celestia to explain that the mane six showed the full potential of the Elements of Harmony harnessing the power of your friendship to defeat a mighty foe while me and Luna wielded the elements in the past it's you six who now control their power which why it must be you six who need to defeat Discord. After a second of thinking Twilight was about to accept the task but then would ask what about prince Lorien to which Lorien who would say I will only get involved if the elements fail leading to Twilight to accept the task Celestia has assigned them. After the mane six accepted the task Celestia would use her magic to unlock the vault holding the Element of Harmony but upon opening the chest it's revealed that the elements are gone. After wonder how the elements could have disappeared when she is the only one who can break the spell on the vault then everyone would hear a disembodied laughter which would say now where is the fun in making sense leading to both Celestia and Lorien to realize that the voice belongs to Discord leading to both Celestia and Lorien to demand that Discord show himself leading to Discord to appear in the stain glass windows then would taunt them leading Lorien to demand that Discord stop playing around to which Discord would aw Lorien I see you haven't change in a thousand years and might I add you are still as boring and straight to the point I see you haven't changed one bit. Discord would then decided to tell them where he has hidden the elements but he would do it in the form of a riddle which went like this "To retrieve your missing Elements, just make sense of this change of events. Twists and turns are my master plan, then find the Elements back where you began." then would leave to cause more chaos. After Discord had left Twilight would ponder Discord's riddle then would look outside one of the windows then believes that Discord hid the Elements in the hedge maze leading to Twilight and her friends to head for the hedge maze to retrieve the elements but as the mane six left Celestia would notice that Lorien had the same look he had the day she had sent Twilight to Ponyville the day Nightmare Moon return leading to Ceslestia to ask Lorien if he was alright to which he states I believe that Twilight is incorrect about where Discord had hidden the elements then adding I know Discord well enough to that he would never straight forward with his answers nor would he make things so easy which leads me to believe that Discord is planning to do something to Twilight and her friends but I not sure what he is going to do yet which is why I am going to watch them and only interfere if I believe I need to, upon hearing what her brother was going to do Celestia would say alright but only stall Discord long enough until Twilight and her friend find the elements and confront Discord to which Lorien would say alright I will do as you ask but if Twilight and her friends fail to defeat Discord then I will end him permanently then would leave to see what happens next. After leaving the palace Lorien would observe Twilight and her friends and was proven right that Discord would corrupt Twilight's friends by making Applejack a lier, Pinkie Pie a grump, Rarity a greed hoarder, Fluttershy a cruel pony and Rainbow Dash under the illusion that Cloudsdale is in danger has become a faithless pony thanks to Discord then would leave the maze resulting in Discord stating that someone broke the no flying and no magic rule as well as abandoning the game that means I win then says now it looks like there is going to be a big old storm of chaos on the way the would laugh. As Discord continues to Laugh Lorien would then appear and say so this is your plan to corrupt Twilight and her friends so they embody the opposite of their respective elements by letting them believe the Element were in the maze leading to Discord to say well done Lorien you were also skilled at figuring out people's plans, upon hearing what Lorien had just said would shock Twilight leading to her to ask Lorien a question to which Lorien would answer her question before she could ask it which is that I will not get involved unless I have to after this is your task Twilight Sparkle then Discord would say that's good in all but if you can excuse me I have some chaos to cause.Twilight would think back to Discord's riddle but had difficulty trying to figure out where Discord hid the elements which after a moment would realize that the elements are in Ponyville leading to Twilight her friends and Spike to travel to Ponyville which has already been affected by Discord's magic. Moments later Twilight and her friends would arrive at the Golden Oak's Library Twilight would find the Elements of Harmony in the book the Elements of Harmony reference guide but Twilight would find her corrupted friends to be unbearable despite Lorien informing her that they were corrupted by Discord to embody the opposite of their respective elements she still gets annoyed by her corrupted friends to the point she coaxes Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie to help her with the promise of never speaking to each other again after defeating Discord to which the four agree while giving Rainbow Dashes Element of to Spike then the group would use the elements to defeat Discord but it does work because the Element of Loyalty was meant for Rainbow Dash but more importantly the Element Bearers aren't embodying the respective elements resulting in the spell to fail leading to Twilights friends going their separate ways while Spike returned to clean up the library while Twilight becomes corrupted then walk back to the library to pack her bags to leave while Discord celebrates his victory but before he could get comfortable Lorien would appear ready to fight Discord then Discord would ask Lorien why he didn't get involved to which Lorien states it's the same thing I told Twilight I would only get involve when I feel I need to such as right now then Lorien would state so Discord are you ready to settle the score. After making his challenge Discord smile would be replaced by a frown and say ah yes how could I forget our duel a thousand years ago and the fact other than the Elements of Harmony you are the only one to pose a threat to me and I never would have guessed that you are an alicorn which explains your magic powers but I never would have guessed that you would find a way to use my own powers of chaos against me. Discord's statement would lead to him developing an anger face never forgetting how Lorien managed to make a fool out of my now it's pay back time leading to Discord creating a balloon sword while would use a lamppost as his weapon of choice. After the two got in their fighting stances then charge at each resulting in their weapons clashing then Lorien would headbutt Discord dazing him for a second leading to swing the lamppost like a war hammer leading to Discord to create a shield made from a bush which would block the attack but Discord would still feel the force from the attack like his shield was just struck by someone with great strength wielding a war hammer, both Lorien and Discord would continue attacking and counter attacking each other for a few moments then as the two clash with their respective weapons Lorien would point the top of the lamppost towards Discord and to his surprise a magic blast would fire from the top of the lamppost pushing Discord back leading to a now surprised Discord to say how did you do the Lorien to which he answers why do think I am use a lamppost because it doesn't just make a good weapon but also a good magic staff thus I call this a war spell hammer. After hearing how Lorien fired that magic blast Discord would use his magic to not paralyzes Lorien but every time Lorien try to use his magic he would become heavier. After hearing what Discord had done to him Lorien would say well played however don't think you have won just yet. Lorien's statement would confuse Discord for a moment but would then realize what he was talking about when he saw Twilight and her friends coming towards which meant Lorien was only distracting Discord long enough for Twilight and her friend to be returned to normal then would succeed in defeating Discord by turning him back into stone. Later at the royal palace Twilight and her friends are congratulated for defeating Discord but during the celebration Twilight, Celestia and Luna would wonder why didn't Lorien finish Discord off if he had the power to do so why was he holding back, that will be a question that will not be answer for a long time.
It has been some months since Discord was defeated and it was now Nightmare Night with everyone getting ready to enjoy Nightmare Night with Lorien going to join Luna as she tried to readjust to the modern era especially tonight since it's Nightmare Night. After Luna had arrived in Ponyville everyone except Twilight would bow in fear, Luna would then make an announcement while using her load voice to inform everyone that she plans to turn the dreadful Nightmare Night festival into a feast of celebration and admiration for the princess of the night however her announcement would reinterprets as an announcement to that tonight she plans to feast on the people of Ponyville leading to everyone except Twilight and Lorien to run and scream while Luna tries to reassures everyone that she is not here to feast on them and there is no reason to fear her however her reassurances falls on deaf ears leading to Luna to walkaway indignant. After Luna had walk off everyone hear someone say you should all be ashamed of yourselves leading to everyone turn to the one who just said that and to their surprise to discover that it was Lorien leading to Mayor Mare to be the one to ask Prince Lorien why he made that statement to which he explains that the reason is because he is disappointed that everyone here with the exception being Twilight Sparkle at the fact let your fear blind you to the fact that Nightmare Moon is gone and is never coming back that said I do understand that everyone find it fun to get scared as long as no one gets hurt however in this case Luna wants everyone that she is not the Nightmare Moon from the myths but a living person that is just trying to gain admiration and yet you treat her like a monster. After hearing the reason he was disappointed they would reflect on what Lorien had just said Twilight would notice that he was beginning to walk in the same direction Luna left leading to Twilight to say Prince Lorien where are you going to which Lorien answers I am going to check on my sister then would leave to do just that leading to Twilight to follow Lorien. A moment later Lorien along Twilight would find Luna was sitting in front of the Nightmare Moon statue. After find Luna Lorien would ask his sister if she was alright to which she says I am surprised that you followed my to this town to which Lorien answered by saying of course I want to make sure you were alright leading to Luna being silent for a few moments while she would have a dow look which Lorien got his answer and would sigh then say I am not surprised that your having difficulty readjusting then Twilight would approach then was about to introduce herself but Luna would then comment that Twilight did well create a realistic costume of Starswirl the Bearded to which Lorien would also make the same comment to which Twilight would glad that someone who gets her costume then Twilight was about to properly introduce herself to which Luna say Twilight's name then Luna would use her load voice again leading to both Twilight and Lorien to comment her load voice may have been the reason why her reception was the reason for the miscommunication leading to both Lorien and Twilight to suggest that Luna lowers the volume to which Luna comments that after being sealed away for a thousand years she isn't sure if she can to which Lorien would volunteer to help Luna. A moment later Lorien had finished helping Luna with making her loud voice a reasonable level that would scare anyone to which Luna, Twilight and Lorien hope is a good start to show everyone that there is no reason to fear her. Lorien would ask a group of kids to go make the candy offering the Nightmare Moon statue as well not to run back to town to which the kids agree to Lorien's request leading to the kids making the offering then would see Luna in her Nightmare Moon disguise leading to them to scream and hid in the bushes while Luna after giving them the scare would ask Lorien and Twilight about their plan to which Luna would get her answer when a kids named Pipsqueak would tug her mane to get her attention then say um Princess Luna I was wonder if it's not too much trouble can you please came back next year to give us a scare to which Luna would ask Pipsqueak that he and the kids likes getting scared to which Pipsqueak states it maybe scary but it's fun, upon what Luna had just learned would cause Luna to become happy and say I will try to make it and I see no reason to cancel Nightmare Night which she would use her loud voice for the last part. After giving Pipsqueak her answer he would say your my favourite princess ever then would hug one of front legs then return the rest of the group of kids and tell them that Luna say yes to their request leading to the kids to cheer. Luna, Twilight and Lorien would follow the Pipsqueak and the kids back to town where Luna would see the whole town waiting at the entrance leading to Luna to wonder what is going to which Mayor Mare would be the one to explain that they all wanted to say they were sorry for reacting out of fear when you arrive if we were told a about how you were finding it difficult to readjust we wouldn't have reacted the way we did when you arrived to which Luna would smile and say it's alright if I was told about the fact that everyone likes getting a fun scare during Nightmare Night. After patching things up everyone would get back to having fun with Luna joining in the fun but then Luna would notice that Lorien was keeping to himself leading to Luna to go talk to her brother asking if he was alright to which he explains that he's fine I'm just glad that you beginning to readjust andI just feel a little bad for making the people of this town feel guilty for how they acted when you arrived to which Luna would Lorien you don't have to worry I believe that all of us have learned something tonight now then come on you should try to have some fun to which Lorien would join while having one thought on his mind it has been a long time since I spent with my sisters doing something fun and would go have spend time with his youngest sister.
Two months would pass since Luna's first Nightmare Night and it was now Hearth's Warming Eve and everyone was getting ready for the holiday and getting ready to preform the Hearth's Warming pageant with the mane six starring in the Canterlot pageant all the while Celestia, Luna and Lorien watch everyone prepare for the pageant and Hearth's Warming Eve. As the Canterlot pageant begins everyone would sit back enjoy the show everyone except one and who was that person may you ask why it's none other than Lorien who had a somber look on his which both Celestia and Luna would notice leading to the two ask their brother if he was alright to which he answers by saying it's nothing just reflecting on the past to which the sister ask reflecting on what part of the past to which he answers the past events that lead to the creation of Hearth Warming Eve to which both Celestia and Luna would then understand then would say if only they knew the whole story to which Lorien would say yes if only they all knew the whole story. The three alicorn sibling knew dark part of Hearth's Warming Eve one they hope never is revealed with Lorien hoping that what he did back then never comes to the surface.
Some more have pasted since Hearth's Warming Eve and Lorien, Celestia and Luna were prepare for the wedding of Princess Mi Amore Cadenza and Twilight's older brother Shining Armor to Twilight's surprise and then when she confront him about the fact that he did tell her in person he would explain that a threat was made against Canterlot which is why there is a barrier surrounding the city and why the guards are on high alert then would further explaining that Lorien had added extra security. After hearing the reason for the security Twilight would then ask Shinning Armour why he didn't tell her that he was getting married if that she wasn't important to him any more to which Shinning Armour answers by saying of course not your my sister you will always be important to me which is why I wondering if your willing to be my best Mare. Upon hearing her brother's request then would ask how he met Mi Amore Cadenza to which Shining Armour reveals that Princess Mi Amore Cadenza is actually Twilight's old babysitter Cadence which would surprise then would remember the fun memories she had with her old babysitter then Cadence would appear in the nearby doorway then upon seeing her Twilight would greet Princess Cadence with the nursery rhyme she and her used to do when ever they were together but to her dismay Cadence brushes it off impassively as she join her husband to be then Twilight would learn that Princess Cadence would be surveying the wedding preparations while Shining Armour return to his duties as captain of the royal guard, little did the three know that Lorien was watching them from just above them while invisibility spell to observe Cadence due getting a strange feel ever since the threat was made against Canterlot and was planning to keep an eye on her. As Cadance sees the wedding preparation Twilight couldn't believe how Cadence's personality had changed since she had last saw her which Lorien would also notice while observing her and would sense something off about Cadence which he would lead to him to call for a meeting with Celestia, Luna, Shining Armour and the mane six as well as inviting to Cadance to confront her. The next morning came and Lorien had called a meeting where Celestia, Luna, Shining Armour and the mane six as well as Princess Cadence was invited by Lorien al be it rather insistently while having a serious tone. Everyone would arrive at the room where Lorien ask to have a meeting wonder what the meeting was about which they would soon find out, Lorien would thank everyone for come then would gain a serious expression when he saw Cadence leading to said person to ask in an annoyed tone why did you call for this meeting but would then rephrase her question in a different tone and say I mean may I ask the reason why you need to call for a meeting to which Lorien would say the there are two reasons why I have called for this meeting the first is regarding the threat towards Canterlot and the second is regarding you Princess Cadence surprising everyone especially Cadence. Lorien would explain ever since the threat was made Canterlot it got me thinking about why they didn't have the courage to show themselves which would cause Cadence to gain an insulted expression with Lorien being the only one to notice it then Lorien would comment on how he believes that there is more to the threat causing everyone to gain a curious while Cadence for some reason would gain the look of anxiety which didn't go unnoticed by not just Lorien but by Twilight, Celestia, Luna and Shinning Amour leading to him to ask are you alright to which Cadence would saying I just have a bad feeling of where Lorien is going with his theory but that wasn't the reason why Cadance was feel anxious is because she was worried that her plan was going to be exposed. Lorien would continue to explain by saying ever since the threat was made I was thinking maybe the threat is meant to distract us from what their real plan leading to Celestia to ask which is to which Lorien answers by saying I don't quite know maybe the threat is to keep our focus on Canterlot while the ones behind the threat would strike someplace else either to kill someone, destroy a certain target or steal something which lead to me to conclude that the ones behind the threat are either criminal trying to steal one of our nations treasures or destroy a location. Another possibility is that who ever made the threat to Canterlot is someone who is an enemy of our nation or an enemy I had made over the years who is plotting to kill me or planning something that not even I can't imagine. Cadance now irritated would demand that Lorien get on with this out burst would lead to Lorien to ask her is there something wrong because to which Cadance answers by saying can you get to the point of your theory otherwise you are wasting our time which could have spent preparing for the wedding to which Lorien would state very well since your so insistent I am just going to say it the main reason why I called for this meeting is because of you Cadance surprise everyone especially Cadance leading to her to ask what do you mean I am the reason for this meeting to which Lorien answers by saying currently I don't trust. Lorien's statement would cause everyone in the room to become shocked leading to Shinning Armour to ask Lorien what do you mean you don't trust her to which Lorien would answer by saying that is easy it's because ever since you had arrived you have been impassive, insincere, demanding and most importantly you are uncaring to Twilight and her friends which I seem to be the only to notice but it seems Twilight was suspicious of your behaviour to which Cadence would saying I only want my special day to be perfect and you are probably tried from working to hard besides as a princess I have to act according to my position this would lead to Lorien to say in an accusing tone your lying. Lorien's accusation would shock everyone leading to Celestia to ask Lorien what Cadence is lying about leading to Cadence to ask with the tone of someone who is trying to hid something while saying what makes you think I am lying to which Lorien would state that is easy it's because I have the unique ability to tell when someone is lying but you should know that to which Cadence who was now sweeting would say I guess I forgot to which Lorien who was angered would shout stop lying. Lorien's outburst would shock everyone except Celestia, Luna and Shinning Amour leading to Twilight to ask Lorien what makes you think Cadence is lying to which Celestia who had developed a a serious expression would explain that Lorien's ability to sense when someone is lying comes from his ability to sense peoples emotions which in this case Lorien is sensing fear and anxiety from Cadence. Lorien would the state every since you arrived to Canterlot I have been suspicious of you Cadence leading to me to watch your actions and before Twilight and her friends had arrived what made me suspicious was the colour of your magic aura around your horn which is supposed to be blue not green, Lorien's statement would shock all leading to Twilight to say how could I have missed that to which Lorien would explain it's easy to miss since we were all distracted by the wedding and the mysterious threat to Canterlot made it easier for someone to complete their object isn't that right Cadence. Lorien's statement would lead to Cadence who was still sweeting but would then begin to chuckle then becoming full blown laughter the would be consumed in a pillar of green causing Lorien to say looks like I was right to be suspicious Cadence or should I say Chrysalis queen of the changelings, after Lorien made that statement the pillar would dissipate revealing Chrysalis's true form leading to Lorien to say looks like my theory of you posing as Cadence was correct which begs the question which he was about to ask but would then realize one place that Chrysalis could have imprisoned the real Cadance leading to Lorien to order Twilight to recuse the real Cadence who is trapped in the abandoned crystal mines leading to Twilight to say I will find her but before she left to find her Twilight to ask Lorien why Chrysalis was posing as Cadance to which Lorien explain that Chrysalis is a changeling a being that can take the form of anyone or anything but they have a hunger to feed on the love of other which makes the a race of parasitic thieves leading to Chrysalis to become insulted at what she was called. After Lorien had explained Chrysalis motive Twilight and her friends would leave to free the trapped Cadence in the abandoned crystal mines which after searching for a hour would find the real Cadance and would learn that she remember Twilight after she is the real Cadance by reciting the nursery rhyme. The real Cadance and the mane would then return to where Chrysalis was expose and would find Celestia, Luna, Shinning Armour and Lorien trying to fight off Chrysalis as best they could however due to Chrysalis feeding on Shinning Armour's love for her magic power has become strong enough to overpower Celestia with Luna being the first to be subdued due to staying awake overnight while Shinning Armour being the next to be subdued since he was struggling to maintain the barrier around Canterlot while dodging/blocking Chrysalis's attacks which Chrysalis would take advantage of leading to Shinning Armour to be subdued. As for Lorien he held out long enough for the mane six to return with the real Cadance and during the fight Lorien would ask Chrysalis why she only feeds off love causing her to become confused to which Lorien would explain that love is powerful but love only isn't enough then explains further by stating that there are other powerful emotions such as anger, fear, hate, greed, sadness, despair, hope, lust, pride, happiness, envy and disgust. Lorien's question would cause Chrysalis to ponder Lorien's question which she had time since Celestia, Luna and Shinning Armour would subdued while Lorien is exhausted to the point he could only defend himself by using a magical artifact that generates his own personal barrier which would give out just as Twilight her friends and the real Cadance enter the room leading to Cadance to run to Shinning Armour just as the barrier surround Caterlot would shatter due to Chrysalis drained Shinning enough so her changeling army to break through the barrier and begin to swarm Canterlot but would unexpectedly would face resistance from Lorien's forces who would hold out long enough for Cadance to use her love magic combined with Shinning Armour's barrier spell to repel Chrysalis and her army. After Chrysalis and her army were repel everyone would prepare for the wedding of the real Cadance and Shinning Armour a few hours later which would go perfectly then during the dance as everyone celebrated Lorien would watch and would gain a somber which both Celestia and Luna would be the only ones to notice and would see tears run down his face leading to both to ask their brother what's wrong to which he would explain seeing Shinning Armour and Cadance brings back old memories then would use his magic to pull out a neckless that is holding two rings leading to both of Lorien's sister to realize which memories which they understood and decide to let their brother reflect on the memories of his wife who had been dead for centuries leading to Lorien to mutter which was only heard by his sisters which was I love you Eve and I always will.
