"Good morning." I stepped into the dining room fully, my presence bringing an immediate halt to all conversation.
The five Alphas sat around the large wooden table, each frozen in whatever they'd been doing moments before. I could feel the tension in the air and the curiosity in their gazes as they process my unexpected presence.
Kael set his coffee cup down slowly, his icy blue eyes narrowing slightly as he studied my face.
Riven paused with his fork halfway to his mouth, those fierce ice blue eyes of his assessing me like I was some puzzle he couldn't quite solve.
Lucien leaned back in his chair with what looked like the beginnings of a sly grin, his crystal blue eyes glinting with intrigue.
Darian's emerald gaze had softened with curiosity, while Talon's hazel-green eyes widened slightly, a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips.
