Rhiannon's POV
"Nothing for… you-know-who?"
I knew exactly who she meant. Lucien. My jaw tightened, and I shook my head firmly. "No."
Andromeda didn't push, just squeezed my arm gently. "Okay. Let's head back then."
We finished gathering our bags and made our way back to the packhouse. The sun was starting to set, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink. It should have been beautiful, calming even, but I felt restless.
As we pulled up to the packhouse, I turned to Andromeda. "Hey, could you do me a favour?"
"Of course. What do you need?"
"Could you deliver the gifts to them? I just… I need some space right now."
Her expression softened with understanding. "Sure thing. You okay?"
"Yeah, just tired. Long day."
"Get some rest then. I'll make sure they get their presents."
I thanked her and headed straight to my room, shutting the door behind me with a soft click. The silence wrapped around me like a blanket, but instead of comfort, I felt suffocated.
