Over the skyline of New York, the war against the Chitauri raged on. Though a portion of the invading army had been wiped out, their metal corpses continued to fall from the sky like steel rain, crashing into buildings and streets, igniting explosions and chaos throughout the city.
On Fourteenth Street, Thor finally destroyed one of the enormous worm-shaped Chitauri carriers after an intense battle. He stood over the wreckage, panting, muscles strained and lightning still crackling at his fingertips. Looking up at the sky, he saw at least ten more motherships descending, crumbling and exploding in mid-air. They had been obliterated in a single instant—not by him, but by her.
The corner of Thor's mouth twitched.
"Wow..." he muttered.
He had struggled and poured his godly might into bringing down just one of those behemoths. Yet she—Bella, the so-called Goddess of Judgment—had brought down ten like she was swatting flies.
And the thousands of Chitauri soldiers? They didn't even slow her down.
Just as this thought settled, Tony Stark's voice crackled through the earpiece. "Thor, I found Loki. The Goddess of Judgment forced him underground—he's hiding beneath the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters."
Thor's demeanor immediately shifted. His hand clenched Mjolnir tightly.
"Where is the S.H.I.E.L.D. base located?" he asked, voice low with emotion.
"I'll take you," Tony replied, then turned toward Bella. "Coming with?"
Bella stood still, her golden hair catching the light, eyes focused skyward. "They'll keep coming."
She didn't need to say more. The Chitauri were emerging in waves from the sky portal. With a nod of understanding, Tony turned back toward Thor. "We'll find Loki and force him to close that damn gate."
With a blast of his repulsors, Tony rocketed into the sky, with Thor following immediately after, the boom of thunder trailing behind.
Bella stayed.
She looked up as a second wave of motherships emerged from the swirling cosmic rift above. More Chitauri screamed through the sky on their hover pods. Her lips curled into a small, dangerous smile.
"Is this the full force of their army now?" she said quietly.
Just minutes ago, she had single-handedly wiped out tens of thousands of enemy troops, shattered motherships, and drenched the streets of New York in alien blood and circuitry. She had already delivered "justice" to Loki by crushing his army.
The Chitauri were biomechanical—part alien, part machine—and that made them perfect for Bella.
Each one she killed gave her a tiny bit of power. With every mothership she destroyed, her strength soared.
Her current stats had climbed far past their previous limits:
Strength: A
Stamina: A
Dexterity: A
Magic Release: A
Mental Power: B+
Riding: B+
Intuition: A-
Presence: A
Luck: C+
Noble Phantasms:
Bloody Rose (False)
Goddess of War (False)
Black Sword of Promised Victory (True)
Blacklight Armor (True)
She was a walking arsenal of destruction.
And thanks to her previous clash with the Hulk, her overall physical capabilities had jumped even higher. It was laughable now to think she'd waste time chasing Loki. The Mind Stone he carried didn't interest her unless it could boost her strength—and if it could, she wouldn't hesitate to rip it from his skull.
Just then, another wave of worm-shaped motherships tore through the clouds, roaring with hellish volume. Bella's expression sharpened.
Now was the time.
She crouched slightly, bracing her legs against the rooftop. Power gathered beneath her feet.
Boom!
With a shockwave that split the building beneath her, Bella launched herself upward. The explosion shattered the entire rooftop, glass and debris blasting outward. People below looked up in awe and terror.
Her body rocketed through the air, faster than sound. A sonic boom echoed across New York.
The sky itself seemed to part around her. Chitauri fliers and weapons were disintegrated just by coming near her, crushed by the force of her passage.
In seconds, she reached the portal.
Bella landed atop one of the motherships like a divine storm, the Black Sword of Promised Victory shimmering in her grip. Her hair whipped around her, and her eyes glowed with killing intent.
She was no longer a fighter. She was a force of nature.
With swift, fluid strikes, she carved through the alien horde. Each slash was like a brushstroke on a deadly canvas. Chitauri soldiers were sliced apart, their bodies raining to the Earth below. Energy cores exploded, lighting the sky with flashes of white and blue.
Below ground, at the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, the situation was tense.
In a fortified bunker lined with monitors and steel walls, Loki stood, surrounded by downed agents and remaining S.H.I.E.L.D. staff. His scepter glowed in his hand. Nick Fury, Hill, and Phil Coulson stood nearby, bruised but upright.
Suddenly, Thor and Tony arrived.
"You found me faster than I expected," Loki mused, eyebrows raised. "The isolation barrier here should've hidden me, even from Heimdall."
Thor didn't waste time with words. He pointed toward the screen—one of the many cameras showing the battlefield. "Loki, look at what you've done."
He turned to another screen. "Look at her. Look at the Goddess of Judgment. She saved our mother, she saved Asgard, and she's risking her life to protect Earth!"
Thor's voice rose with each word. "**You brought this war! You brought these monsters! And she—**she defends your home and mine. Is this really what you wanted?"
The words echoed through the bunker like thunder.
But Loki's expression remained cold. He raised the scepter, aiming it at Thor.
"This is exactly what I wanted. Only war will let me prove my worth to my true master. Earth is just the beginning. Next is Asgard. This is the price of power."
Thor clenched his jaw. "Then you leave us no choice. We end this in battle."
Tony stepped forward, arms already glowing with energy. "Took you long enough," he muttered. "I've been waiting to punch this guy since New Mexico."
He glared at Loki. "You owe me property damages, trauma, and one busted suit."
But before he could act, Thor surged forward, lightning crashing down as he hurled Mjolnir. Loki barely blocked in time.
Tony sighed and turned to Fury, Coulson, and Hill. "Guess I'll play cleanup," he muttered.
He looked at Coulson with a faint smirk. "Phil, if you ever foam at the mouth again, I'm putting that on a t-shirt."
While Thor and Loki clashed in the heart of the bunker, above them, Bella carved through the Chitauri motherships one by one, her blade dancing like a shadow of death.
The sky had turned into a battlefield of gods.
And Bella was winning.
