Chapter 96 - Little

Although Thor could also see that this planet was dead and useless, incapable of supporting life…

It was still a planet!

How big does something have to be to be called a planet?

This girl is like two people in one—don't be fooled by her appearance. She's terrifying. Volstagg might be a big eater, but even he has to bow down in front of her appetite!

Volstagg and the other four didn't know what was going on.

But faced with Thor's urgency, all they could do was nod.

As Asgardian warriors, recovering their abilities was only natural. While they hadn't completely recovered, they were back to about sixty percent strength—enough to handle what came next.

"Alright, let's go then."

Thor left.

He took the Asgardian warriors with him.

---

The next step was probably to teach Loki a lesson and prevent a war.

But that had nothing to do with Blaine.

Yawning, he walked into the ruined warehouse.

This warehouse had been one of the Hand's independent factories. After the crash, white powder was scattered everywhere, and most of the blind workers were killed in the disaster.

Gali stood in front of the large robot—the Destroyer—her small face scrunched up in hesitation.

"What's wrong?"

Blaine stepped forward and gently stroked Gali's black hair.

"I don't know how to eat it."

Gali pouted. "I don't want to get too big. It's ugly. Based on your human standards of beauty, you probably wouldn't like me. But… it does taste good."

"Haha…"

Blaine was momentarily stunned, then laughed heartily. "Aren't you the Boss? Can't you just turn the Destroyer into an energy form and eat it that way?"

"Fine."

Gali pouted again. Although she preferred to swallow the Destroyer whole, since Blaine suggested it, she'd try it his way.

With a thought, the Destroyer melted instantly into a silvery liquid, like water, and was slowly poured into Gali's small mouth.

In no time, the entire mass of energy was absorbed.

Gali squinted contentedly and patted her stomach. "Even though I'm still hungry, that really hit the spot."

Still hungry?

Blaine thought for a moment and immediately understood.

It was because of the cosmic tapeworm in her body. There were only two options to deal with it: feed it, or remove it with a special device.

But Blaine, having read the manga, knew the second option would lead to Gali's death.

So the only viable solution… was to keep feeding the cosmic tapeworm.

He glanced at Gali and sighed.

This would be a long journey.

"Come on, let's go home."

Gali was very satisfied. She'd watched a play and eaten a lot today. It was the fullest she'd ever been in her life.

Although she was still somewhat hungry, it was nothing compared to before. This level of hunger was manageable—for now.

But if she stopped eating completely, that terrifying, bottomless hunger would return, threatening to consume everything.

"Okay."

Holding Gali's hand, Blaine smiled at her. "Let's go home."

---

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"What? The all-knowing, all-powerful Gali doesn't understand me?"

"Hmph! What a jerk! I just don't feel like reading your mind!"

"Alright, alright, let's stop messing around. Isn't everything settled now? Let my invincible Gali lead me home, like a good girl."

"Hmph! What do you mean 'your' Gali? Stop talking nonsense. Let's go!"

---

The next morning.

Blaine, still half-asleep, felt a tight pressure on his chest.

It was as if something was pressing down on him.

Frowning, he jolted awake, panting, and quickly pulled back the blanket.

Just as he expected.

There was a cute girl lying on his chest, clinging to him like an octopus and sleeping soundly.

Her small head rested on his chest, her eyes shut tightly, lost in deep slumber.

As he watched, Blaine's mind went blank.

There was no denying it—Gali's appearance was top-tier, even by Marvel standards. That delicate face stabbed at Blaine's heart like Cupid's arrow, over and over.

And to make matters worse, it was morning, and…

"Wait!"

Suddenly, Blaine snapped back to his senses.

He shook his head furiously.

'I'm not a pervert, I'm not a pervert...'

Blaine began mentally hypnotizing himself.

---

After a while, Blaine finally calmed his restless heart.

But his movements had woken Gali.

Her big eyes opened sleepily as she stared blankly at Blaine. Her messy hair made her look like a cute kitten.

Damn.

Another critical hit.

Blaine clutched his chest. 'How can someone be this cute? Seriously?!'

So strong, so adorable—how's anyone supposed to deal with that?!

"...Do you like me?"

Gali was still lying on Blaine's chest, her head tilted, red lips slightly parted. Her voice was soft and sweet, still tinged with sleep.

"No!"

Blaine shook his head violently. "I don't like you!!"

"You're lying."

Gali slowly sat up, now perched on Blaine's abdomen. She placed her small hands on his chest and looked straight into his eyes. Her large eyes curved into crescents, and her face flushed slightly—like a little fox that had just stolen something delicious.

"Wait…!"

Blaine quickly tried to change the subject, but then a thought struck him. He looked at her warily.

"Didn't we agree that you'd sleep next door? Why are you in my bed?"

"I came over after you fell asleep."

Gali pouted innocently. "I just wanted a hug. And now you're mad at me?"

"No, no, of course not!"

Blaine softened. "Little… Gali, I—"

"What?"

As soon as those words left his mouth, Gali narrowed her big purple eyes, shifted forward, now sitting on his chest, and looked down at him.

Just when Blaine thought she was about to throw a tantrum…

She suddenly said seriously, "I'm not Little!"
