After confirming that Mega Evolution played a crucial role in breaking through racial limits, Roy officially decided on the training arrangements for each of his Pokémon.

Currently, except for Electabuzz, every Pokémon on the team was working to master Totem Aura, hoping to reach the threshold of advanced techniques.

Since Totem Aura was a mandatory subject under Roy's guidance, there was no need to elaborate on the details.

Blastoise, following Roy's instructions, began attempting to combine the 'power of aura' with its own Water-type energy. Additionally, it would perform one Mega Evolution session daily.

Metagross worked alongside Registeel, tempering its body and highly compressing Steel-type energy. It would also perform one daily Mega Evolution session.

Mimikyu recovered the "Burning Jealousy" TM that Roy had obtained through exchange.

Burning Jealousy was a technique that incorporated the emotional energy of 'jealousy' into flames.

Only a select few Ghost and Fire-type Pokémon could learn this move.

Like Typhlosion's Rage, Burning Jealousy represented optimized energy.

Having Mimikyu learn Burning Jealousy wasn't intended to develop it toward Fire-type abilities.

Instead, the goal was for Mimikyu to understand the move's principles, allowing it to try adding the emotional energy of 'jealousy' to its own Ghost-type energy and attempt further optimization based on advanced techniques.

Ninetales, using 'Role Play,' worked alongside Regice to cultivate Never-Melt Ice.

Electabuzz's training plan remained unchanged - it would continue deepening its lightning armor mastery.

After Roy announced the training arrangements, every Pokémon was filled with motivation.

Electabuzz was no longer dejected. It had always maintained an optimistic nature; otherwise, it would have lost the will to survive under the torture inflicted by the Illuminati.

"Hey!" Electabuzz grinned, acknowledging that it had entered a bottleneck period.

It couldn't Mega Evolve, couldn't master Totem Aura, and advanced techniques seemed beyond reach.

Compared to its teammates, it had no advantages in breaking through racial limits.

But so what?

Without advantages or natural talent, it would compensate through doubled efforts!

Sensing the surging determination in Electabuzz's heart, Roy couldn't help but chuckle with emotion:

"That's exactly like you."

Electabuzz wasn't the only Pokémon that had mega-level voltage implanted in its body.

During the Illuminati incident, the same procedure had been performed on five other test subject Pokémon.

The same was true for the thousands of Pokémon that had died during the experiments.

Why had only Electabuzz survived?

Why had Roy changed his mind and chosen it?

Why was Electabuzz showing signs of mastering divine power?

The answer was obvious.

This unwavering willpower that refused to admit defeat was Electabuzz's greatest weapon.

The five Pokémon left the cabin with high spirits, found their preferred training locations, and began their practice sessions.

"Only Lucario's training plan remains unassigned," Roy murmured to himself.

Since Lucario had followed Mew into the Tree of Beginning and learned how to use the "power of aura" to harmonize the tree's ecology, Roy hadn't seen it again.

"This meditation training has been ongoing for two days now. It should be finishing soon, right?"

With this thought, Roy decided to check on the Tree of Beginning's core.

Seeing that Roy was about to leave, Cosmog consciously jumped onto his shoulder and continued eating.

Ordinary Pokémon would be satisfied with one or two energy cubes, but for Cosmog, they were like desserts that it could consume endlessly. The strangest part was that despite swallowing so many energy cubes and other food, Cosmog's weight and shape never changed!

It maintained a constant weight of 0.1 kilograms.

"Is your stomach a black hole?" Roy scratched Cosmog's belly and joked, "Does everything you eat go to another universe?"

Cosmog displayed a shy expression: "Mo~~ (#^.^#)."

"I wasn't complimenting you."

While joking, Roy carried Cosmog to the entrance of the 'Crystal Chamber' where the Tree of Beginning's main body was located.

The Crystal Chamber was actually a cave at the Tree of Beginning's summit.

The massive world tree's body - or perhaps its brain - was an enormous crystal that resided within this cave.

This was Roy's first visit here.

"What is that—"

At that moment, Roy's attention was suddenly drawn to the beautiful flowers beside the cave entrance.

They were blue-purple flowers with closed buds, their petals possessing a crystal-like texture.

Roy recognized them immediately.

Those were Time Flowers.

These were rare specialties unique to the Tree of Beginning's spiritual domain.

As their name suggested, these flowers contained the 'power of time.'

Once activated, Time Flowers would bloom and project holographic virtual images from hundreds or thousands of years ago through the river of time.

Currently, the only known method to activate Time Flowers was through aura power.

"I can see images from thousands of years ago, hundreds of years ago?"

This thought immediately sparked Roy's interest.

Hundreds of years ago, the Tree of Beginning had undoubtedly still been in the Pokémon world.

Perhaps he could see what the real version of Ash looked like...

Roy crouched down, touched the Time Flower with his fingers, and focused his thoughts as he channeled aura power into it.

Hum——!

Instantly, the Time Flower bloomed with cyan-colored light, and the bud slowly opened.

As the bud bloomed, the scenery around Roy changed rapidly, and virtual-like images appeared.

Unfortunately, there were no people in these memories.

Only Mew could be seen occasionally entering and exiting the crystal chamber.

'This appears to be a scene from about a hundred years ago...'

The 'temporal energy' emitted by the Time Flower allowed Roy to determine the approximate age of the surrounding images.

Soon, Roy discovered that the more 'aura power' he injected, the further back in time the Time Flower could reach.

This discovery prompted Roy to intensify his efforts.

However, at that moment, an unexpected change occurred.

"Mo!"

Cosmog suddenly fell from Roy's shoulder to the ground, crying out in apparent pain.

"What's wrong?"

Roy quickly scooped up Cosmog with both hands.

Before Roy could examine Cosmog's condition, the surrounding space began trembling violently, shaking the ground.

Roy had experienced this phenomenon not long ago.

—Spatial distortion.

But how could there be spatial distortions within a spiritual domain?

"Mew?"

Mew and Lucario rushed out from the Crystal Chamber together, both looking equally confused.

At that moment, violent spatial fluctuations appeared within their perception range, and Roy, Mew, and Lucario simultaneously looked up at the sky.

Crack, crack, crack...

Fissures continued emerging, densely covering the space like a spider web.

Then, suddenly, everything shattered.

A grid-like circular passage appeared there, radiating with rainbow-colored light.

This uniquely-shaped spatial tunnel immediately brought a name to Roy's mind.

"————Ultra Wormhole?!"
