The Ultra Wormhole serves as an unstable passage that connects the Pokemon world with Ultra Space. This phenomenon creates a bridge between two vastly different dimensions, allowing travel between realms that would otherwise remain completely separate.

Ultra Space itself exists as another world that runs parallel to the Pokemon dimension. However, unlike the thriving Pokemon world, Ultra Space represents a dystopian reality—a doomsday world teetering on the brink of complete destruction. This desolate realm serves as the true origin and homeland of Cosmog, the small nebula Pokemon.

In terms of dimensional physics, Ultra Space maintains a remarkably close proximity to the Pokemon world. The two dimensions exist side by side, separated by only the thinnest of barriers. This close relationship explains many of the interactions between the two worlds.

Following the apocalyptic events that ravaged Ultra Space, many Pokemon native to that dimension fled through dimensional rifts to seek refuge in the Pokemon world. These displaced creatures, having crossed over from their dying realm, became collectively known as "Ultra Beasts." Each Ultra Beast carries with it the essence of its destroyed homeland, making them both fascinating and dangerous to encounter.

The Great God Necrozma stands as the Supreme Deity of Ultra Space, holding a position of absolute authority in that dimension. Its status mirrors that of Arceus in the Pokemon world—both serve as the ultimate divine beings within their respective realms. Despite potentially different levels of raw power, both Necrozma and Arceus share the same supreme rank in the cosmic hierarchy.

Ironically, it was Necrozma itself that brought about the doomsday judgment upon its own world. The very god that once protected Ultra Space became the instrument of its destruction, forever changing the fate of all who called that dimension home.

Roy squinted his eyes, focusing intently on the iridescent channel that had materialized in the sky above them. "Why does the Ultra Wormhole appear here of all places?" he wondered aloud, his voice carrying a mixture of concern and curiosity.

In the Pokemon world, Ultra Wormhole phenomena typically concentrated around the Alola Region. The scientific explanation for this pattern was straightforward—the Alola Region contained numerous remnants of Necrozma's light energy scattered throughout its islands. These light fragments made it significantly easier to establish dimensional channels in that specific area.

However, the current situation defied this established pattern completely. They were nowhere near Alola, yet here was an Ultra Wormhole manifesting directly above them.

Roy looked down at the small Cosmog struggling in his arms, then glanced at the mysterious Time Flower floating nearby. A new theory began to form in his mind as he observed these two unusual elements.

"Could it be that the special power emanating from the Time Flower somehow resonated with Cosmog's latent abilities?" Roy mused to himself. "Perhaps this resonance caused Cosmog to unconsciously open an Ultra Wormhole without realizing what it was doing."

This hypothesis seemed to be the most logical explanation for their current predicament.

Lucario and Mew quickly rushed to Roy's side, both sensing the dimensional disturbance through their respective abilities. Their expressions showed clear concern as they assessed the situation.

"Mew?" the pink psychic Pokemon called out, its telepathic voice reaching Roy's mind.

What's happening here? Mew's mental communication conveyed both curiosity and worry.

Roy took a moment to explain his speculation about the Time Flower's influence on Cosmog's powers. As he spoke, all three of them suddenly detected a new aura signature appearing within their sensory range. Their heads turned upward simultaneously, focusing on the swirling Ultra Wormhole above.

"Something's coming through the portal," Roy announced, his voice tense with anticipation.

No sooner had he spoken these words than a figure began to emerge from the iridescent Ultra Wormhole. The dimensional rift pulsed with energy as something passed through from the other side.

An Ultra Beast materialized before them, its form unlike anything they had encountered in the Pokemon world. The creature's body appeared predominantly milky white, with a humanoid structure that seemed both elegant and alien. Its most distinctive features were the two long, graceful tentacles extending from its head, along with what resembled a flowing white wedding dress connected to the back of its skull. The overall appearance radiated an aura of beauty and mysterious charm.

Roy found himself initially impressed by the creature's aesthetic appeal, but upon closer examination, he realized this Ultra Beast bore an uncomfortable resemblance to an oversized cockroach standing upright on its hind legs. Despite this unsettling comparison, the creature somehow managed to appear increasingly delicate and even somewhat captivating the longer he observed it.

Roy's expression grew serious as he fought to strengthen his mental defenses. At the same time, recognition dawned as he identified this particular Ultra Beast from his knowledge of dimensional creatures.

This was Pheromosa, a Bug and Fighting-type Ultra Beast known for its unique abilities.

Pheromosa possessed the special ability to confuse and mesmerize any Pokemon through its overwhelming beauty. Some researchers theorized that this effect resulted from Pheromosa releasing unidentified pheromones into the air. Other scientists speculated that its distinctive appearance triggered some form of hypnotic condition in those who observed it for extended periods.

Beyond its charm-based abilities that functioned similarly to a Ninetales' natural allure, Pheromosa's greatest strength lay in its incredible speed. The Ultra Beast could move with lightning-quick reflexes that made it nearly impossible to track with the naked eye.

The Pheromosa that had emerged from the Ultra Wormhole displayed distinctly humanized arrogance in its posture and movements. It surveyed its surroundings with obvious disdain, as if everything in this world appeared ugly and inferior compared to its own elegant existence. The creature carried itself with the bearing of nobility, looking down upon everything around it.

After completing its initial assessment of the area, Pheromosa's gaze settled directly on the small Cosmog resting in Roy's arms. Its eyes focused with clear intent.

"Phero-mo-sa!" the Ultra Beast called out in its distinctive voice.

The tone carried an unmistakable command—it was ordering Roy to surrender the small nebula Pokemon immediately. The demand came across as both arrogant and thoroughly disgusting in its presumption.

Despite the creature's offensive attitude, Roy found himself experiencing an inexplicable feeling that whispered "she's so beautiful, perhaps I could forgive her for anything." The thought felt foreign and unwelcome in his mind.

Roy mentally questioned this strange reaction, sending himself a metaphorical question mark. To counter these unwanted emotions, he deliberately focused his thoughts on Ninetales and its similar charm-based abilities. By fighting fire with fire, he managed to suppress the inappropriate feelings that Pheromosa's presence was attempting to induce.

Mew floated over with its characteristic curiosity, circling around Pheromosa while examining the newcomer from various angles. Having lived for countless millennia, Mew had never encountered this particular species of Pokemon before, making the Ultra Beast a fascinating subject for investigation.

Observing Mew's innocent approach, Pheromosa's expression shifted to one of visible disgust. Without warning, the Ultra Beast suddenly swung its slender arm in a precise chopping motion, executing a perfect Brick Break attack.

The strike moved with lightning-fast speed, connecting solidly with Mew's small head before the psychic Pokemon could react to defend itself.

Mew's petite body was launched through the air like a projectile, eventually landing on the ground several meters away from Roy's position.

BOOM!

The impact created a cloud of dust and debris that temporarily obscured the crash site.

When the smoke finally cleared, it revealed a crater approximately two meters deep. At the bottom of this hole, Mew lay motionless with its eyes rolled back, appearing to have lost consciousness from the powerful attack.

Roy remained silent for several moments, processing what had just occurred. Finally, he spoke with clear irritation in his voice.

"Who exactly are you trying to impress with that performance?"

To everyone's surprise, Mew suddenly laughed and floated upward out of the crater. Not even a single speck of dust marred its pink fur, and it appeared completely unharmed by the devastating attack it had just received.

The implication was clear—Mew had been pretending to be injured the entire time, putting on an elaborate act for reasons known only to itself.

"Phero?" Pheromosa stared at the completely unharmed Mew with an expression of utter disbelief.

The Ultra Beast distinctly remembered the solid contact it had made with its Brick Break attack. The strike had definitely connected with its intended target, yet somehow the small pink Pokemon remained completely unaffected.

What exactly was this strange, seemingly weak creature that appeared to be nothing more than an ugly pink kitten?

While Pheromosa wrestled with jealousy and suspicion over Mew's apparent invulnerability, Roy took the opportunity to assess the Ultra Beast's capabilities more carefully. His mental evaluation was succinct and somewhat disappointing.

The Brick Break attack that Pheromosa had just demonstrated wasn't even at professional trainer level in terms of power and technique. This observation struck Roy as particularly strange.

Ultra Beasts, while not classified as Legendary Pokemon in the traditional sense, were known to be formidable opponents. Apart from the sun god Solgaleo and moon god Lunala, most other known Ultra Beasts were common Pokemon native to Ultra Space. In terms of rarity within their own dimension, they held roughly the same status as Electabuzz did in the Pokemon world.

However, Ultra Beasts typically displayed exceptional performance when they appeared in documented encounters, demonstrating combat power that far exceeded normal expectations for their species.

Some Pokemon researchers believed that the extraordinary abilities exhibited by Ultra Beasts resulted from the unique energy they absorbed while passing through Ultra Wormholes during dimensional travel. This energy, known as "Ultimate Aura," supposedly enhanced their natural capabilities far beyond their baseline levels.

Yet Roy couldn't detect any trace of Ultimate Aura emanating from this particular Pheromosa. To his trained senses, the creature felt no different from any ordinary Pokemon he might encounter in the wild.

Roy's intuition told him that this apparent abnormality warranted further investigation. There had to be a reason why this Ultra Beast seemed so much weaker than expected.

Mew continued to wear an expression suggesting it wanted to continue "playing" with their unexpected visitor, making it unrealistic to expect the ancient Pokemon to take the situation seriously enough to engage in actual combat.

Recognizing the need for decisive action, Roy issued a clear command to his most reliable partner.

"Handle this, Lucario."

The moment Roy spoke those words, Lucario employed its teleportation ability to instantly appear behind Pheromosa. An Aura Sphere began condensing in the jackal Pokemon's paw, gathering Aura energy for an immediate attack.

Pheromosa demonstrated impressive reflexes despite its apparent weakness. Upon sensing the attack from behind, the Ultra Beast quickly spun around and erected a protective energy barrier to defend itself.

The defensive move was Quick Guard, designed to intercept and nullify priority attacks.

However, Pheromosa's defensive strategy proved insufficient against Lucario's advanced combat techniques.

Just as the Aura Sphere was about to collide with the protective shield, Lucario vanished from its position and reappeared directly behind Pheromosa's back. The condensed Aura energy maintained its momentum and struck the back of the Ultra Beast's head with full force.

BOOM!

The powerful Aura energy exploded on impact, sending Pheromosa crashing into the ground with tremendous force, mirroring Mew's earlier theatrical performance but with genuine consequences.

Lucario took advantage of its psychic abilities to remain airborne, its eyes displaying a loose, unfocused expression that indicated it had entered the enhanced state known as "Aura Boxing." This specialized condition granted the Pokemon heightened reflexes and spatial awareness, allowing it to perfectly coordinate the dimensional confusion inherent in its teleportation-based combat style.

Roy, let me show you my new technique, Lucario communicated through their psychic link.

The jackal Pokemon raised both paws and began gathering Aura energy with greater intensity than usual. Its recent training sessions with Mew and their harmonization exercises at the World Tree had led to new insights regarding Aura manipulation. Lucario's level of control had reached new heights, and it wanted to demonstrate this progress to its trainer.

The Aura power condensed frantically, forming what initially appeared to be another standard Aura Sphere.

However, Roy's keen senses detected something different about this particular energy formation. The power contained within this sphere was flowing in multiple directions simultaneously, creating complex internal currents while being compressed to incredible density.

The Aura energy spun rapidly like a whirlpool while maintaining high-density compression—a combination that created an entirely new variant of the traditional Aura Sphere technique.

Time seemed to slow as Lucario completed the preparation for its innovative attack in just one second.

The spinning, compressed Aura Sphere launched toward Pheromosa's position with devastating intent.

BOOM!

The resulting explosion released violent energy that produced twice the destructive power of an ordinary Aura Sphere attack.

Roy couldn't help but draw a humorous comparison as he observed the technique. "Are you trying to be Namikaze Lucario?" he thought to himself, referencing the spinning nature of the attack.

As the aftermath of the explosion settled and the smoke cleared, Pheromosa's condition became visible. The Ultra Beast lay covered in injuries, its eyes rolled back in unconsciousness, having completely lost its ability to continue fighting.

Despite possessing natural resistance to Fighting-type moves due to its dual Bug and Fighting typing, Pheromosa had been unable to withstand the overwhelming power of Lucario's enhanced attack.

The capture mission had been completed successfully, though it raised more questions about why this particular Ultra Beast seemed so much weaker than expected. Roy made a mental note to investigate this anomaly further once they had secured the unconscious Pheromosa.
