Itvasme knew what she was bringing to the table.
But what exactly did Des Potté offer?
Money? Was money really something that could change the world?
It was something, but it wasn't everything. What did she actually need?
Legacy. Immortality.
In truth, this was what the Dark Rizzards were after, in their own way, meaning that their interests and goals were in fact compatible with Des Potté's although of course they wouldn't let him know about that, in order to maintain their strong position and bargaining power.
Des Potté wanted to flood the earth with Desmonds and Desmondettes via the Sperm Bank scheme, and in fact, this was also a technology and setup that the Dark Rizzards were also keenly interested in.
In fact, he would be the perfect fattened guinea pig!
They would use him to test out the efficacy of the sperm bank scheme, it's overall viability, and then milk this guy for all he was worth - and not in that way, mind you - this referred to plundering him of his money and resources of course...
Accordingly, with this intent, Itvasme began the discussion regarding the potential collaboration. "Tell me more about what you have in mind, dear Desmond..."
Of course, Desmond believed he was no fool, and figured that they were up to no good. As a result, he set out his terms: he would only provide a... small deposit - of various things including money into the... respective banks first, and only pay after his children were actually born.
In that case... we believe we may be able to... come to an arrangement.
"We want proprietary access to the Sperm Bank System, so that we also have control over the Dark Rizzards' DNA Destiny - a win-win wouldn't you say?"
Of course, Itvasme rather smoothly decided not to mention the fact that once they had ascertained that everything was working and in order, then they would kill him, but that was only a minor matter - besides he would be dead, so why bother him with the details of something that wouldn't really matter anyway?!"
Utilising her Dark Rizz, she knew that all she had to do was present the benefits - and focus on those, as well as how painful it would be to lose these said benefits... and then Desmond - the fattened guinea piglet he was - would willingly enter the pen of his own accord...
