Chapter 92: Moon City's Order

It was getting late—before they realized it, it was already ten o'clock. With the help of Hermione and Alexander, Harry, Ron, and the others finally finished their assignments for Charms, Transfiguration, and Herbology.

After a good stretch, Ron and Neville began a game of Wizard's Chess, while Harry eagerly dove into more of the Doraemon books Ron had brought. Hermione and Lisa Dupin sat together, reviewing their homework for tomorrow.

Just then, Anthony and his two companions returned to the common room with some bad news.

"Bamboo Copter, Ma Zhu, and the underwater breathing tube all failed," Michael Corner reported grimly.

"Why?!" Harry, Ron, and Neville exclaimed in unison.

"Because they were knock-offs," Terry Boot said with a sigh.

"Not everyone can afford toys from the Skywalker Alchemy Workshop," Michael added. "A lot of students buy pirated versions from Borgin and Burkes."

"Pirated goods are unstable," Anthony chimed in. "Last year, Angelina from Gryffindor nearly broke her neck using a fake bamboo copter."

"So instead of stopping piracy, they just banned everything across the board?" Harry asked, his green eyes wide with disbelief.

"Isn't Borgin and Burkes in Knockturn Alley?" Neville asked curiously, showing an unusual spark of insight. "How did students even buy stuff from there?" Maybe it was thanks to being sorted into Ravenclaw—or maybe the confidence boost from finally getting a proper wand.

"I heard from my dad that the crafty old man Borgin smelled a business opportunity the moment Doraemon got popular," Anthony explained. "He opened a few pop-up shops in Diagon Alley and started selling magical replicas of the props from the books."

"His products cost a tenth of what Skywalker charges," Ron said, "but they're cheap, unstable, and come with no warranty."

"If you ask me, I'd rather buy official merchandise from Zuko's Joke Shop than risk using bootlegs from Borgin!" Anthony grumbled.

"I was planning to explore the Black Lake with a snorkel," Ron complained. "I heard there are mermaids down there. Bloody Slytherins—they get to go underwater!"

Ron conveniently ignored the fact that he didn't own a snorkel and couldn't afford one either.

Soon after, everyone began to feel tired. Since they had classes the next day, they gradually returned to their dorms for the night.

Meanwhile, Alexander's body faded into transparency and vanished—reappearing within Castle Smith. He gently stroked the black cat Jerry and connected to the Main God System, splitting into another form.

On the right side of Castle Smith, inside a newly built cavern, magical lights flickered and alchemy formations stretched across the walls, glowing faintly.

Alexander's other form materialized in the chamber.

"Jack, how many more 'Any Door' orders are left?" he asked.

"Master Alexander," Jack replied, stepping out of the shadows, "the most recent one is from Moon City. Because of their distance from Earth, they requested a much larger model. Also, since alchemy robots can only perform rigid operations, the build has taken nearly a month and still isn't finished."

"Moon City, the city on the moon…" Alexander mused. "They're so cautious. I'm not a savage beast—why contact me through Atlantis all this time and only now decide to place an order?"

"I'm really curious," he added, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "Are there wizards on Mars? Venus? Even Mercury or Jupiter? The moon's wizards are probably the closest to unlocking the truth. Jack, I'll personally finish the last step of this Any Door."

From his body, an invisible surge of magic erupted into blue, glowing particles. Magic circles appeared in midair, drawn by unseen hands. The Main God System opened the gates to the true castle, and rare materials poured in from the void, melting into rainbow-colored liquid streams.

Buzz—

A bronze-looking doorway, hundreds of meters tall, emerged from a swirling frame.

"Jack, place this in the canyon's teleportation array first thing tomorrow," Alexander said calmly. "I'm itching to explore a grander world."

The two versions of Alexander merged back into one. After giving Jerry a final scratch behind the ears, Alexander's figure faded and returned silently to Ravenclaw Tower—this time already in pajamas.

By then, the entire dormitory was asleep, and the night was completely still.

---

The next morning.

Harry and the others stumbled into the Great Hall, still groggy. The enchanted ceiling showed a clear sky, and the four House tables were lined with steaming porridge, pickled herring, sliced bread, eggs, and bacon.

They sat down at the Ravenclaw table, beside Alexander, who was casually flipping open a copy of the Daily Prophet beside a jug of milk.

Neville looked cheerful—his entire round face practically glowing.

"The post will be here soon," he said. "I think Grandma's going to tell me when we can go buy my wand."

Just as Harry and the others began sipping their porridge, Alexander quietly tapped the table with his wand. They looked at him in confusion—until a sudden whoosh filled the hall.

Hundreds of owls swooped down, circling above and dropping letters and packages over the sea of students. Along with them came a flurry of feathers and fine dust.

The dirt and grime seemed ready to fall into the food, but—pop!—the debris vanished right before it could land.

"Alexander, I'm lucky to have you," Harry said gratefully, stuffing a spoonful of porridge into his mouth along with a strip of bacon.

Suddenly, a large package slammed into Neville's head, followed by a gray blur. Alexander reacted instantly, catching the bird midair with his wand.

"Errol!" Ron cried, carefully picking up the exhausted owl and placing it on the table. The bird lay slumped, legs twitching in the air, with an envelope still clenched in its beak.

"Why send him all of a sudden? Poor Errol…" Ron muttered, putting a bit of milk and bacon on a plate and gently nudging the food toward the owl's beak.

"He's fine," Hermione said, poking Errol gently with her fingertip.

Ron unfolded the letter and began reading aloud:

> "I didn't expect you to be sorted into Ravenclaw—we finally have a smart one in the family! I heard old wands with unicorn tail hair sometimes resist new owners' magic. Madam Longbottom told me you and Harry are roommates. This Saturday, we'll come to Hogwarts to pick up you and Neville and take you to Diagon Alley to buy your own wand. Oh, and Ron, please don't ask that poor child what happened that night."

Ron turned red. "I was really going to ask."

"No worries, mate," Harry said with a smile. "I don't mind."

"Then I'll ask Mum if you can come with us on Saturday," Ron said cheerfully. Neville nodded excitedly.
