It's weekend but Edward James wasn't much happy going to the James family old mansion best reasons known to him.
"Honey stop acting childish, it's just for the weekend more over Mia is excited but you" said Maria as the chauffeur drove them but Edward wasn't having any of it.
"Daddy you've taken over my role of throwing tantrums" Mia told him causing him to chuckle softly but little did she know she's one of the reasons he's not happy_ Edward had wanted for the little girl to ride with her nanny but Maria insisted she'd join them ruining his plans of touching his wife.
"So you know how difficult you can be, you'll be punished for that henceforth" Edward told the little girl and she opened her mouth to protest
"You can't punish me because you won't hmm" said Mia with her hands folded on her chest
"We'll see to that" was all Edward said closing his eyes to rest
"Darling, how long does it take get to S market from the resident? Maria asked not sure how long.
"Three hours" said Edward still with his eyes closed
"What, that much?"
"Mummy it's best you use the internet" Mia told her mom
"Yeah I think so too because someone isn't saying the truth.
"Mummy did you change your shampoo because your body smells like a baby, daddy have you noticed?" Mia said out of the blue, Maria face turned pale as she hasn't told her husband about the pregnancy
" Not at all, how do you know that" Edward now payed attention to the two
"Well I guess it's my child spirit making me feel that way" she said with her childish voice shrugging her small shoulders playing games on her iPad, Edward saw the look on his wife's face but didn't pay much attention to it.
"Sir we're here" the chauffeur announced, they all exited the car and he drove the car into the garage.
"Helllllllo my lovelies, it's so good to see you all and who's this pretty_" grandma James welcomed them but when she took in the appearance of Mia the second time she paused then called out to her husband " Big J can I have your attention please"
"Grandma what's wrong" Edward asked seeing how she looked at Mia curiously but she didn't say.
"Am here, oh finally he came, come in my dearest Maria" grandpa James said holding Maria but Mia scoffed loud drawing the attention of the old man to her.
"Mia I presume?" Said grandpa James
"Am the little girl and should be your dearest Mia not the other way" her words made the old couple to chuckle but grandma James passed her husband an understanding glance
"We'll figure it out" he said to his wife not to raise any hope confusing the younger couples.
"Seems they've forgotten about us" Edward James told his wife as none of their grandparents asked them in but chatted away with the little girl.
"We'll find our way" Maria said as they both walked inside
"Home sweet home" Edward James said softly feeling the warmness of being home once again
"You can say that again_ why don't we spend more time here, ouch um um" Maria didn't expect any of his moves.
Edward had suddenly pinned her behind a pillar and sealed her lips with his.
"Go get a room" came the voice and it was none other than Kristen and Vanessa who just came in as well but Maria was totally embarrassed wishing she could just develop wings.
"No one would have noticed if you had walked past" Edward James said glaring at his friend but the latter smirked "you sure can't keep your hands to yourself" Kristen said
"Kristen junior say hello to your blushing aunt" Vanessa teased Maria while pretending to talk to her son
"Uncle where's Mia?" Kristen junior asked his uncle Edward but he ran off when he heard Mia's voice coming from the dinning.
"Maria you're glowing, no doubt the dragon Lord knows how to care for his wife" said Vanessa as she sashed and whisked Maria out of Edwards hold.
"Go to your husband and leave my wife to me" Edward told his sister but she wasn't having it.
