Chapter 2 - 2- First Sword, Sword Of Inferno

"Outer Space?" I repeated, my brow furrowed in confusion. The concept felt alien, ripped straight from a science fiction movie, not the realm of cultivation I was just beginning to grasp.

"Ding!"

Host, You don't have enough cultivation to know that.

Well, that was... unhelpful. "So how can I find the Swords then?" I asked, my gaze sweeping across the unfamiliar forest.

"Ding!"

Scenario Mission

Mission:- Find the First Sword.

Reward:- 200 xp Points

Hint:- First Sword, Sword of Inferno is Here around 100 m.

"Here? Within 100 meters?" I scanned my surroundings, a renewed sense of urgency washing over me. Lush greenery stretched in every direction, the air thick with the scent of damp earth and unknown blossoms. I explored the area, my footsteps crunching on fallen leaves. I peered into a small stream, circled a cluster of ancient, moss-covered rocks, even ventured around a small hill, but there was no sign of a sword, fiery or otherwise.

Returning to the base of the large tree where I had first awoken, I slumped down, frustration bubbling inside me. "Wtf are you talking about, system? There's nothing here! Is it just messing with me?"

In a fit of pique, I punched the thick trunk of the tree. The impact reverberated through my hand, and I immediately regretted the impulsive action. But then, a low groan emanated from the tree, and with a sickening crack, it began to tilt. Panic flared within me as the massive tree crashed to the ground, revealing a gaping maw in the earth beneath its roots – a dark, ominous cave.

My breath hitched. At the center of the clearing where the tree had stood, a stone monument pulsed with an eerie heat. Fiery runes snaked across its surface, and the air around it shimmered with intense heat, like the ground above a volcano.

"Wh-what the hell is this?" I stammered, cautiously approaching the strange structure. My eyes were drawn to the center of the monument, where a sword hilt protruded from the stone. Flames danced around the exposed metal, yet they cast no light, only an oppressive heat.

Hesitantly, I reached out and grasped the hilt. Surprisingly, the fire didn't burn me. It felt strangely... warm, comforting even. I gripped the hilt firmly and pulled. The sword didn't budge. It felt as if it were fused to the very core of the monument. Gritting my teeth, I strained with all my might, my muscles screaming in protest. With a final, desperate heave, the sword shrieked as it was torn free, the surrounding flames momentarily erupting before subsiding.

I stared at the weapon in my hand. The blade was a deep crimson, swirling patterns of fire seeming to writhe within the metal. It felt strangely alive, humming with a latent power. "Oh... what is this sword?" I breathed, mesmerized.

"Ding!"

Host, You have successfully completed the Scenario Mission.

Reward granted: 200 xp Points

"Huh? What are these xp Points?" I asked, still gazing at the fiery sword.

"Ding!"

Xp Points that can help you to level up your cultivation.

"What? Really? But I haven't even started my cultivation," I exclaimed in disbelief. "System, show me my status window!"

A new window shimmered into existence before me:
