"What's wrong?" Bear Monarch scratched his ear, looking puzzledly at Red King.
Red King's eyes gleamed with ferocity, his nostrils flaring with anger. "There are two scents here that match those of the thieves who stole the worm."
"What!!"
Bear Monarch's bean-sized eyes widened, and his aura suddenly surged. Soul Beasts within a twenty-kilometer radius sensed this and fled in panic. "Let's go! While the scent is still fresh, we'll chase them down. Let's see where they can escape to this time!"
Red King bared his teeth in agreement, identified the direction, and dashed off swiftly, with Bear Monarch close behind.
"Where do you think you're going?"
But before the two Soul Beasts had gone far, a cold, clear voice sounded from the sky.
Without slowing down, Bear Monarch turned his head and roared at Bi Ji, "Red King has detected the two who stole the worm!"
"Hmm?" Bi Ji was taken aback for a moment, then raised her head to look toward the outskirts of the Star Dou Great Forest, her eyes flickering. "Even so, we cannot pursue them further. They have likely already left the forest by now."
"Are you just going to let them go like that?" Bear Monarch skidded to an abrupt halt, kicking up a cloud of dust and knocking over several trees around him.
"It's not that I want to let them go, but if you charge out like this, it will provoke a backlash from the humans. Have you forgotten the powerful figures among their kind?"
"With Di Tian still recovering from his injuries, your reckless actions could bring disaster upon us."
Bi Ji descended in front of Bear Monarch. "Even if we seek trouble with the humans, we should wait until Di Tian awakens before making a decision."
Hearing this, Bear Monarch's anger-filled mind gradually cooled. Though still somewhat reluctant, he had to admit that Bi Ji's words made sense.

"I don't think that human is trustworthy," Bear Monarch scratched his head.
"What does a big oaf like you know?" Bi Ji rolled her eyes at the bear. "No matter what his intentions are, as long as his goals align with ours, it's fine. Moreover, the mark of a Soul Beast's bloodline is something he can never erase."
"If he shows any disloyalty, we can expose this to the humans. I doubt he would risk his reputation among them, so he'll have to obey us obediently."
Hearing the mockery, Bear Monarch bared his teeth. If it weren't for Bi Ji being under Di Tian's protection, he would have gladly swatted her.
