"Time interval?"
Captain America paused for a moment, then shook his head. "Based on all the intel we have, from the time Thanos acquired the first Infinity Stone to when he collected all six, it was only a matter of a few years."
"But Thor has lived over a thousand years. By the time Thanos destroyed the Asgardian ship, Thor had already undergone a power evolution once."
"So, for Thor to achieve another massive leap in just a few short years… the likelihood isn't very high."
"Also, Doctor Strange—between the Titan battle and the Wakanda battle, the interval is even shorter. The chance of his power dramatically increasing in that time is also slim."
"No, Captain Rogers, you misunderstand," Doctor Strange interjected, addressing Cap. "I'm not talking about traditional power increases… well, technically there is a power increase, but it's not conventional. It's more about acquiring unique opportunities. Take Thor—he lost his hammer, but later gained an axe."
"Exactly! The doctor hit the point!" Thor slammed his thigh in agreement. "On the Asgardian ship, my hammer had just been destroyed by Hela. I lost my artifact, and my power was greatly reduced. That's why I couldn't match Thanos—it doesn't reflect anything about my true strength."
"Thor," Tony Stark turned to him seriously, "I get it, but just to confirm—a single artifact for a god like you can massively boost your power, right?"
"Of course!" Thor said matter-of-factly. "Otherwise, why would my grandfather Bor, my father Odin, or my brother Loki rely on artifacts?"
"When Thor got the axe, we have no idea how strong he became or exactly when he obtained it," Tony shrugged. "I can only say that such a possibility exists."
"Battle is a complex affair," T'Challa spoke up, his voice steady. "While the combatants' strength certainly affects outcomes, it isn't the only factor. History and reality alike have countless examples of the weaker defeating the stronger. Judging solely by power isn't entirely reliable."
"I have to admit, T'Challa makes sense," Scott Lang nodded, scratching his head. "But then, how do we even decide between C and D?"
"Exactly. You two are right, but if we can't find other criteria, strength is the only remaining metric," Strange said.
"So… can you find other criteria?" Scott asked, staring at everyone.
The room fell into deep thought.
"The answer isn't Doctor Strange."
After a moment of silence, Tony Stark spoke firmly. Clearly, he had recalled something crucial.
"Remember the moment Nick Fury disappeared?" Tony glanced at the other senior heroes as a hint.
"That's right! Not Strange—he was still on Titan!" Thor's eyes lit up.
If Thor had realized, the other veterans understood immediately as well.
When Fury vanished, S.H.I.E.L.D. was scanning the entire planet via satellite, and they couldn't locate Tony.
Analyzing the clues, the most likely conclusion: Tony wasn't on Earth at the time—he was on Titan, fighting Thanos!
This also explains what Doctor Strange said: the interval between the Titan battle and the Wakanda battle was extremely short. Short enough that Tony hadn't even left Titan!
And if Tony was still on Titan, Strange naturally hadn't left either.
Though Strange could open a portal back to Wakanda in theory, the evidence suggests he didn't—maybe due to injury, or some limitation in cross-planet teleportation.
"So the answer is me! I told you—it's me!" Thor said proudly. "Even Thanos with all six stones isn't a match for me!"
"I must admit, this is partly unexpected, but… not entirely," Doctor Strange commented, sounding paradoxical.
Everyone understood: unexpected because Thor's power was ridiculous—almost defeating six-stone Thanos. Expected because comparing Thor to Strange, it made sense to choose Thor. Without the Time Stone, Strange couldn't surpass him.
The answer was clear: Thor.
Now it was a matter of who would answer. After discussion, the choice went to Captain America.
Reason: the skill in question was clearly combat-related, and Tony or Strange had no interest. The new recruits were curious but didn't contribute much, so they abstained.
"I choose D, Thor, God of Thunder!" Cap announced to the screen.

Swish! With the system's prompt, Ripple Energy was instantly infused into Captain America.
"So this is Ripple Energy?" Cap marveled, recalling everything he knew.
The skill completely exceeded expectations—he hadn't imagined it could glow, allow walking on water, stick to walls, or even slow aging.
"Ripple Energy? That's an odd name. Rogers, what kind of energy is this?" Thor asked, genuinely curious.
Cap didn't waste words. He extended his fist, focused his mind, and a wave of energy rippled outward.
"It's glowing! The captain's fist is glowing!"
Scott nearly popped his eyes out, pointing at Cap's radiant fist.
The others stared in awe. The effect aside, the sheer style of it instantly made Cap the most striking figure on the battlefield.
"This golden Ripple Dash is the strongest attack variant among all colors of Ripple Dashes," Cap explained.
"So there are other colors too?" Tony caught the implication immediately, his interest piqued.
"Yes, different colors have different properties," Cap confirmed.
"So it's a multicolored system?" Thor muttered, baffled. "Why does it glow? And what use is each color?"
Not just Thor, everyone was curious. Surely it wasn't just to blind enemies.
"It's a ripple," Tony mused. "Light is a wave, so Ripple Energy produces light-like energy. Different frequencies = different colors. That's why this skill has multiple colors."
"Well, that makes sense," Strange nodded in agreement.
The scientists and tacticians around, including T'Challa and Scott, also understood. Only Thor was still confused about frequencies.
"Light-like energy… this is truly a wondrous skill," T'Challa murmured in admiration.
"Gold increases attack. What about the other colors?" Thor asked again.
"Silver travels through metal and weapons. Cyan travels through liquids. Crimson generates intense heat," Cap offered.
Everyone gasped at the versatility.
"Can it combine with Armored Haki?" Tony asked.
"Ripple Energy uses breathing, Armored Haki is a bodily awakened energy—they don't interfere," Cap explained.
He focused again, and his right fist turned black. Then golden light shimmered atop it.
Armored Haki and Ripple Energy, seamlessly combined.
Undoubtedly, Cap's power had reached its peak.

A new screen lit up: Scarlet Witch crouched, crying on the ground.
Clearly, this was right after she destroyed the Mind Stone.
"I understand, child!" Thanos said, approaching her with empathy.
"You don't understand!" she spat, glaring with hatred.
"I have lost more than you can imagine, but now is not the time to mourn. Time does not exist anymore," Thanos declared.
He approached Vision's body, raised the Infinity Gauntlet, and the Time Stone glowed green. A magical green sigil appeared in his palm.
"Thanos used the Time Stone to restore the Mind Stone!" Strange exclaimed.
Unexpectedly, the magic was similar to Strange's spells.
Onscreen, Thanos rotated the sigil in reverse, and time rewound. Vision, once destroyed, revived, kneeling before Scarlet Witch as before.
"No!" Scarlet Witch screamed, rushing forward—but Thanos casually knocked her out.
He grabbed Vision with one hand and plucked the Mind Stone from his head with the other.
All six Infinity Stones were finally collected.
Crack!
But at that critical moment, a bolt of lightning struck Thanos, sending him sprawling.
Thor appeared, drenched in electricity, standing arrogantly in the void.
He swung his axe down at Thanos.
"Ah!" Thanos shouted, raising the Gauntlet. A blinding beam shot toward Thor's axe—but it was futile.
Thor's axe cut through the power of all six Infinity Stones, spinning like a storm and striking Thanos squarely in the chest!
