"This is truly unexpected," Strange's voice broke the silence first. "The search for the Cosmic Cube has been so convoluted. Stark even went through time twice for this."
"But if it weren't for that, Stark probably wouldn't have realized Howard's 'true nature,' right?" Captain America said, somewhat thoughtfully.
The first time he participated in a quiz, it was also the first time he had met Tony Stark.
Back then, Tony had been cold toward Howard, with a hint of resentment—it was clear that the father-son relationship was far from close.
Now, after watching this footage, it seemed there had been some misunderstanding between Tony and Howard. Otherwise, Tony wouldn't react this way.
"'Time is precious and cannot be bought,'" Scott Lang nodded approvingly, appreciating Howard's wisdom.
"I do have a curiosity," Thor interjected, recalling something interesting. "Peggy Carter was from that era as well, one of the founders of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Rogers traveled with Stark through time. Would Rogers have seen Carter too?"
Captain America's expression darkened.
The date he had missed was an eternal regret in his heart.
Peggy Carter—he had missed her, permanently, irreparably.
Seeing her from that time again was nothing but an unrealistic fantasy.
"Rogers, cheer up!" Thor patted him on the shoulder. "We know there's another Captain Carter who traveled to our time. Maybe one day, you'll get another chance."
"Who knows? Family, stability… that man who dreamed of all this was frozen seventy-five years ago. And the one who emerged later… was someone else entirely," Captain America said, his expression tinged with melancholy.
"Everything will be okay! We all will!" Tony Stark said firmly.
[Quiz Question: On the first day Doctor Strange arrived at Kamar-Taj, Baron Mordo handed him a note. What was written on it?]
A. Kamar-Taj-related precautionsB. A simple spellC. Wi-Fi passwordD. Access codes to all doors in Kamar-Taj
Friendly Reminder: Correct answer grants the skill Death Rebirth. Wrong answer will randomly remove one of your attributes, including but not limited to knowledge, experience, skills, or possessions.
Soon, the system's alert sound drew everyone's attention.
Everyone paused their thoughts and looked at the large screen. This question concerned Doctor Strange and the mysterious Kamar-Taj—everyone was intrigued.
"Excuse me, but I have a question!" Scott Lang raised his hand. "Kamar-Taj—what exactly is this place?"
"Lang, you don't need to raise your hand—just ask," Captain America said, lowering Scott's hand.
He then gave a brief explanation of Kamar-Taj to Scott and T'Challa.
Both were stunned—such a mystical group of sorcerers actually existed in this world?
Add that to the previous quiz clues—gods, time travel, killing half of Earth's population…
Their minds were spinning; they were completely overwhelmed.
"Baron Mordo gave me a note. A 'note' is different from paper, right?" Strange began analyzing. "It's just a scrap of paper with something written on it. Very casual. So A can probably be ruled out."
"I agree," Scott Lang said. "From my experience—well, not prison, let's say work—I've never seen a company handwrite important precautions. That's too childish. At worst, print them!"
Captain America nodded. "Using a note suggests the content is informal—probably one of the last three options."
"Also, the note is probably small, so it can't have many words," T'Challa added.
A was effectively eliminated.
Attention then turned to B.
"A simple spell? Strange was just starting at Kamar-Taj. He wasn't a sorcerer yet—he wouldn't understand a spell," Thor reasoned. "Why would they give an incomprehensible spell to a newcomer?"
"True," Strange agreed. "It's like giving a flashlight to a blind man. Maybe we can rule this out."
"Thor, glad to see you thinking critically," Tony quipped. "But think deeper: giving a spell might test his aptitude or potential. Or maybe there's another reason we don't know."
"Tony's right—B can't be ruled out. There's no evidence either way, so it remains undetermined," Captain America concluded.
Next was C.
"Wi-Fi password? A mysterious, all-powerful sorcerer hands a scrap of paper with… a Wi-Fi password?"
"Reminds me of high school—someone secretly gave me a hard drive claiming it was valuable, but it just had Tom & Jerry," Scott said, shaking his head.
Everyone found this option absurd. A sorcerer—a mystical, high-class figure—wouldn't casually hand out a Wi-Fi password. The idea was incompatible.
"Wi-Fi for Kamar-Taj sorcerers? Like Thor playing games—just doesn't fit," Strange commented.
Tony added, "That's just perception. No evidence supports this."
So C, like B, remained undetermined.
Finally, D.
"This seems too open," T'Challa pondered. "Strange gets full access to Kamar-Taj on his first day?"
"Reasonable," Captain America agreed. "If there are access restrictions, it's not easy to enter. But first-day access? That seems like no barrier."
"Doesn't prove anything. Stark Tower has many restrictions, but newcomers can still get access cards," Tony explained. "Strange has exceptional potential. The Ancient One may have trusted him immediately."
"Without clues, D can't be ruled out," Captain America affirmed.
"So aside from A, the other three remain undetermined?" Thor asked.
"Yes. Usually, we've overlooked some key detail," Tony advised.
Everyone began reviewing all clues about Doctor Strange and Kamar-Taj.
"Strange's purpose! We overlooked his purpose!"
Captain America suddenly looked up. "Strange came to Kamar-Taj for healing!"
Footage of the Ancient One's death had clearly mentioned this. He came after seeing someone named Pangborn cured by Kamar-Taj.
"Exactly! Strange's goal was healing, so Kamar-Taj wouldn't give him any test spells, right?" Thor concluded.
