Chapter 343 - Captain America Beats Someone to Death in the Street!

The first option, it could be said, shocked everyone watching, even quite severely.

Even if everyone wasn't entirely satisfied with John Walker, the new Captain America, he was still the officially elected Captain America of the United States. His

  basic qualities should be impeccable.

How could he do something like beating someone to death in the street?

  That's a bit exaggerated, isn't it?

"I think option A means that Captain America was forced to kill the criminal in public, right?"

"Captain America must have been forced by circumstances to do this, right?"

Peter Parker's voice rang out. He glanced at everyone and made this guess first.

"That should be it. Nobody knows what happened during the operation. John Walker probably did face the choice of killing the other party immediately, even in public."

After a moment of contemplation, Captain America agreed with Peter Parker's words.

"No, no, no, that's obviously not how it works."

Thor immediately expressed a different opinion. "The question says 'beating,' not 'fighting,' OK? Beating means one person hitting another, not two people attacking each other. On Earth, beating should mean the same thing, right?"

"Yes, Thor, on Earth, beating does mean that,"

Strange replied, addressing everyone. "I'm afraid this option means exactly what Thor said: the enemy is already incapacitated, but in this situation, Captain America continues to attack, beating him to death."

"That's right, Rogers, don't have any illusions. The word 'beating' clearly explains everything," Tony Stark said with absolute certainty.

He was actually right. Peter Parker and Captain America understood the wording of option A perfectly well; they just didn't want to believe that Captain America would do such a thing.

Even though that was only the second Captain America.

  "OK, alright."

Peter Parker shrugged. "Mr. Stark, you're right, option A should indeed mean that, but precisely because of that, we can eliminate this option, right?"

"That's right. Don't even mention Captain America, I don't think even an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. would do something like beating someone to death in public." Scott Lang agreed.

"Wait a minute, if that's the case, isn't option A eliminated a bit too easily?" Tony Stark felt something was off. "Isn't this option a bit idiotic?"

Captain America beating someone to death in the street? That's obviously impossible, too obvious, right?

The quiz system rarely sets such low-level options.

It's like asking what one plus one equals.

Based on everyone's experience answering quizzes, when encountering such options, it's likely that everyone hasn't understood the true meaning of the option.

For example, there was a question with the option that Captain America beats himself.

But after carefully analyzing the options again, everyone found that this time it was indeed an exception; this option didn't imply any other meaning.

"Okay, it feels a bit strange, but we really have to rule out this option for now." Tony Stark finally agreed.

Option A was eliminated with almost no controversy.

After all, no one really thought Captain America would kill someone in the street; it was too absurd.

  "Let's look at B."

Captain America drew everyone's attention to the next option and provided some analysis. "I think this possibility is very small. The higher-ups won't strip Captain America of his title just because of a failed mission."

"That's right. To remove Captain America just because the Flagbreaker mission wasn't completed is really too frivolous." Tony Stark agreed. "I know those politicians; they don't care about anything except their own face!"

"No matter the reason, removing Captain America is like slapping them in the face, so they won't do it unless there's a very important reason."

Obviously, the failure of a single mission is not enough to constitute such a significant reason.

"Could it be because the mission to capture the Flagbreaker is too important?" Peter Parker couldn't help but interject. "Didn't we just go through Cary Morgan's quiz? The Flagbreaker has the Super Serum."

"Even if the mission is important, as long as Captain America doesn't make any fundamental mistakes, he can't be stripped of his command," Captain America said confidently to Peter Parker.

Peter Parker was just a high school student and might not fully understand how the world works.

But Captain America had lived two lives, served in the military, and worked as a secret agent, so he naturally knew more about the ins and outs than the average person.

Option B was basically ruled out without much doubt.

"John Walker resigning as Captain America? That option should be possible, right?"

Scott Lang's gaze shifted to option C. "If he's determined not to do it, no one can force him."

"Like Sam, right?" Peter Parker gave a vivid example.

Wasn't Falcon Sam Wilson in a similar situation? He promised Captain America that he would give it his all, but then turned around and handed over the shield. "

  This is outrageous!

" "John Walker was officially selected. Their evaluation of him must have been comprehensive, unlike Rogers' evaluation of Sam. So, I don't think John Walker will resign voluntarily."

"However, the weight of the Captain America crown is too heavy; not everyone can bear it."

"John Walker being crushed by the Captain America crown... I can only say that's not surprising."

  Strange also offered his analysis.

"Looks like the answer to this question is C," Thor added with a smile, "because I think option D can also be eliminated."

With Thor's words, everyone couldn't help but turn their attention to the last option.

Everyone's opinion was the same as Thor's; they all thought this option could indeed be eliminated.

"Firstly, no one discovered John Walker hiding the serum, so I don't think the possibility of this being exposed is high."

"Secondly, even if it were exposed, this matter is indeed not enough to constitute a major reason for John Walker to be 'fired'."

"So… that's right, Thor, congratulations, you've finally learned to use your brain. The answer to this question should indeed be C."

Tony Stark reached out and patted Thor on the shoulder, looking at him with a relieved expression.

Everyone present exchanged glances and did not raise any objections.

Admittedly, if John Walker's possession of the serum were exposed, it would indeed have some negative effects, even punishment.

But being stripped of the title of Captain America for this reason was indeed unlikely.

The answer to this question was almost without question; it was C.

Next, everyone discussed who should answer the question, and finally, the spot fell to Captain America.

  "I choose C! I'm resigning!"

Captain America confidently stated his answer to the big screen.

To be honest, this question was not difficult, so Captain America was quite confident in his answer.

  [Incorrect answer!] However

, to Captain America's surprise, he answered incorrectly.

The answer wasn't C at all.

[The respondent, Steve Rogers, will be punished by having his anti-tracking abilities removed, to be executed immediately!]

Having gone through so many quizzes, Captain America was long since indifferent to punishments and didn't give it much thought.

He simply frowned slightly: "The answer isn't C. It seems we need to re-analyze this carefully."

Of the four options, C was the only one that seemed plausible; the other three options were considered unlikely by everyone.

But option C was, ironically, the wrong one.

"The remaining three options are all considered unlikely, but the least likely one should be option A, right?"

Thor glanced at everyone and offered his opinion. After

a brief discussion, everyone agreed to eliminate option A, as it seemed rather absurd.

So, between B and D, which option was more likely?

"By the way, normally it shouldn't be like this, but... perhaps the damage caused by the Flagbreakers was just too great, so great that even the US government felt immense pressure, far beyond our imagination." "

So, under this pressure, the US government decided to remove John Walker and send someone else to replace him as Captain America to continue this mission."

Captain America said this after a moment of contemplation.

Of course, this was just Captain America's pure speculation; no one could be certain.

"If it were me, I would also choose B. It's strange, I actually agree with Rogers today,"

Tony Stark quipped before continuing, "My reasoning is that the Flagbreakers mission has much more flexibility than the smuggled serum."

"I mean, because we don't know much about the Flagbreakers, we don't know how many of them there are, or what level they've reached."

"So, the impact of this mission might only be equivalent to capturing a terrorist organization, or it could, as the captain said, put pressure on the American government, or even… make the American government fearful!"

"To put it figuratively, we don't know if the Flagbreakers are a bank robbery gang or another Mandarin who dared to execute the President of the United States."

"But option D, the smuggled serum, that's just a small matter. Even if someone makes a big deal out of it, how far can it go?"

Tony Stark spoke eloquently in front of everyone, his long-winded explanation undeniably containing some merit.

In short, the impact of the Flagbreaker incident could be limitless, even to the point of the US government removing Captain America.

Although this possibility was considered unlikely in previous analyses, it was indeed possible. But what

  about the serum?

Even if its impact was significant, it was still limited.

Comparing the two, option B was indeed more likely.

  Everyone quickly reached a consensus.

After some discussion, it was decided that Peter Parker would answer the question.

Mainly because Peter Parker was quite interested in the Ghostbane incident, and naturally, no one else would argue with him.

"I choose B!" Peter Parker gave his answer to the big screen with anticipation.

  [Incorrect answer!]

  What?!

  Peter Parker's smile faltered slightly.

[The answerer, Peter Parker, will have his piloting skills erased, immediately!]

"The answer isn't B either. Could the answer be D?" Thor couldn't help but ask from the side.

After answering incorrectly twice in a row, the only remaining options were killing someone in the street and possessing the serum.

Although both options seemed impossible, Captain America beating someone to death in the street was the least likely scenario.

He was Captain America, after all.

How could he do such a thing?

"D? Stripping Captain America of his title just because he possessed the serum? Isn't that making a mountain out of a molehill?" Scott Lang couldn't accept this answer.

"Does Captain America kill someone in the street?" But Strange's question left Scott Lang speechless.

  That was even more impossible.

  He had no answer.

After discussion, the final answer to the question fell to option D.

Although no one thought this would lead to John Walker's dismissal, beating someone to death in the street was far less likely than this option.

  Only D could be chosen.

  As for who would answer?

After some discussion, they decided that Scott Lang would answer.

"I choose D, possession of the serum exposed!" Scott Lang answered without much confidence.

He wasn't really sure about this option, even though option A didn't seem very plausible either.

What on earth is this question?

  [Incorrect Answer!]

Scott Lang's worst fears have come true; the answer is wrong again.

"What the hell? The answer is A? Captain America beats someone to death in the street?"

Peter Parker couldn't help but exclaim, utterly unable to accept this answer.

The others present were also caught off guard; no one expected the answer to be the one they considered the least likely.

Although they hadn't been very optimistic about the new Captain America, beating someone to death in the street was just too much!

Everyone was eager to know what was going on.

[Detected three consecutive incorrect answers; this question is automatically locked. The questioner cannot answer while locked.]

[This question is locked; proceeding directly to the analysis stage.]

[The correct answer is A: Beating someone to death in the street while using Captain America's identity.]

  [Now playing the answer analysis.]

  A series of prompts followed.
