Caleb sat on the ground, staring at the mirror.
The chattering sounds from the onlookers pulled his attention back to the present.
"Did they just pop out of the glass?"
"What the hell... Why does the car look like an ice sculpture?"
"Look at that body..." another voice said, eyeing the masked man who was anything but recognizable, with spikes jutting out from his body.
The grotesque sight made many people avert their gaze, with some quickly covering their children's eyes and ushering them away. A few even felt nauseous.
While some looked on in curiosity, others displayed visible disgust.
The police had already cordoned off the hotel, keeping the crowd at bay.
Officers and detectives stared at the three as though they were witnessing ghosts.
It took a few minutes before one of the policemen regained his composure and approached Caleb and his group.
"Miss Alice, sir Caleb, you will need to come with us to the station for questioning," the policeman said calmly.
