After semi-settling the matter with Vaness, the resolution had ended with Aria kept in permanent custody in the woman's ship, while Captain Fhaliem was kept in Ember's ship under the very close watch of Ember's two Kingsguards. Especially since the one-eyed, scarred captain in charge of the Blood Slaves had attempted to commit suicide as a way of escaping his guilt.
His death was one that Ember couldn't allow just yet.
