"And who might you be?" He all but challenged Khaos stupidly.
The men behind him had the decency to keep mute as they stared at Khaos in confusion. The power he easily exuded told them that he was no small person, but they had after all never seen him.
"Is that the High Lord?" One of them finally stuttered, "Lord Khaos BlueBood?"
At that revelation, Montaigne shrunk back in size ten times over, his face dark from horror at the mistake he almost committed. The men behind him stared between Ember and Khaos in both curiosity and fear.
