Immediately the guest left, Cassie walked up to them "happy birthday Mr Sakura" her voice sounded less cold than usual
"Thank you" he said,his smile bright as they both click their glass
"Why,is it good for you to still drink at this age" Cassie said with a hint of surprise
"Dear,I'm not that old" he said while downing the whole glass
Mrs Sakura hits his rib gently "listen to the young lady,your health is important"
"Fine,fine" the old man said hurriedly, Cassie couldn't help but smile brightly
She thinks for a while before speaking up "Mrs Sakura,sorry to ask but did Adrian come today"
Hearing Cassie calling their son name casually was surprising,they couldn't help but wonder what their relationship was
"Adrian came earlier but had to leave to attend to something" Cassie nodded at her explanation,she wondered if the Adrian she knew would still be the Adrian here,she remembered when she was about to wake up,she heard Adrian's voice
After talking for a while, Cassie left, she walked around and accidentally bumped into Nian Nian
She had learnt that Nian Nian was a close friend to Cassie who somehow became part of her family, Nian Nian was happy because each time she came to visit, Cassie would always be in her room sleeping

Cassie nods at her,her expression cold but not too cold "I'm fine,you?"

It was almost 7 when the family decided to go home, everyone decided to stay over at the family villa

Cassie just sat on the empty chair since she was the last,she sat between Sam and Lisa
The food were brought in by the maids,it was more of a feast

Everyone fell silent,they all stopped eating and Cassandra who was beside Sam couldn't help but drag his ear slightly "Cassie don't mind him you know kids this days"
