Chapter 24 - Chapter 23

In the morning, a group of people was training hard at the training ground. Suddenly, Rowan heard someone calling him.

"Rowan!"

"Rowan!"

He turned around and saw that it was Brandon and Steve. Rowan said to Felix, "You take them and start the training first."

Felix also saw the two people and said, "Alright, you go."

Then Felix took the group and continued with the training. Rowan walked over to the two and asked, "What's going on? You just came back and already have time to wander around here?"

Brandon said, "What do you think about your wife being kidnapped? You're still in the mood to train here? That's not like you at all."

When he heard that, Rowan first thought he misheard. He looked up at Brandon. With his wife's skills, if she still got kidnapped, that would be a serious problem.

"Say that again. What did you just say?"

"She didn't tell you? Don't worry, no one was hurt."

"Let's talk about the kidnapping first."

"She really didn't tell you?"

"She did. She said she caught the bad guys and even got a reward. The two sisters-in-law also got one."

"Yes, the three of them were kidnapped, but then your wife saved them."

"Oh, oh. Anything else?"

Steve and Brandon didn't know what to say after seeing how calm Rowan looked. Did he really believe in his wife's fighting skills? He wasn't even anxious to go home and check on her.

Rowan was thinking about going home to spank Sienna. Something this big happened, and she didn't tell him. It seemed he had been too gentle with her these days, not willing to spank her. He could use another way to punish her.

He had already noticed these past two days that she didn't have a single scratch, so there wasn't really anything to worry about.

"There's also the matter of Larry and his wife spreading nasty rumors, but your wife beat them all up. Now everything's fine."

Steve added, "We came to find you because we wanted to ask if we should teach them a lesson."

Rowan looked at the two of them and said, "Are you two stupid? Still thinking of a way?"

"He's a leader. You want to get locked up? If you just hit him like that, he'll cause a huge mess."

Rowan just looked at them without saying anything.

Brandon saw Rowan's look and said, "What kind of look is that?"

"A look for two idiots. I really want to know what's inside your heads. You're hopelessly dumb."

The two of them felt deeply insulted. It wasn't physically painful, but the insult was strong.

"Hey, what kind of talk is that? Let's see what your great plan is."

"Follow me. Learn something, then go and beat up everyone for me."

Very soon, the three of them found Larry watching the soldiers train at the Fourth Battalion.

Rowan stepped forward, walked up to Larry, and said, "Vice Commander, you're guiding the work."

"Right, what's the matter? I'll be over to your battalion in a bit."

"Well, we've been out on a mission for a while, and the time's gotten a bit long. What do you think?"

"It has been a while, but it wasn't a difficult mission. You've been gone for quite some time. Is there something else you've discovered?"

"No, actually, I suspect my skills have gotten worse, so I came here to spar with you for some guidance. You wouldn't mind, would you? You're our direct superior after all. Wouldn't you want to help me improve?"

Hearing Rowan's words, Larry gritted his teeth. He understood now—everything he'd said before was nonsense. Rowan was only trying to find an excuse to teach him a lesson. He knew he wasn't Rowan's match, but the current situation didn't allow him to refuse.

"Rowan, of course, I'm willing. Helping you all improve is my responsibility. As a leader, I'm happy to assist."

"Great, let's begin then. There are also Steve and Brandon waiting to be guided."

When he heard this, Steve quickly said, "Yes, Vice Commander, I'm waiting."

Brandon added, "Vice Commander, especially me. You know I'm just a deputy, really need your guidance. I'm sure it will benefit me greatly."

After hearing Brandon, Steve whispered, "Look at you, even using idioms."

Brandon replied, "It just suddenly came to mind. I don't know if it's right, but whatever, it's fine."

Hearing their conversation, Larry could only brace himself and said, "Alright, let's begin then."

With that, Brandon quickly stepped back, shouting, "Everyone, clear the way! Vice Commander's going to guide Rowan in sparring. Watch closely, everyone!"

The Fourth Battalion members, seeing the two were really about to spar, quickly moved back to clear space.

Once everything was ready, Rowan said, "Vice Commander, let's begin. Please guide me."

Without waiting for Larry to move, Rowan rushed forward, raising his right fist to strike Larry's chest. Larry quickly dodged, countering with a punch aimed at Rowan's face.

Rowan sidestepped, then lifted his leg to kick. When Larry managed to avoid the attack, Rowan quickly moved in and executed a shoulder throw.

Thrown to the ground, Larry felt a powerful force coming at him. He quickly tried to dodge, but it was no use. Every time he tried to move, Rowan seemed to predict his actions, adjusting his own movements accordingly. Rowan kicked him several meters away.

Rowan immediately moved forward, pinning Larry down and landing punch after punch. Larry struggled to find an opening to counter, but Rowan's attacks came so fast that Larry had no chance to catch his breath.

Rowan targeted some of Larry's sensitive areas, causing immense pain without leaving any visible marks.

Every time Larry tried to speak and ask for a break, Rowan would increase the force of his blows.

After a while, when he felt it was enough and knowing Steve and Brandon were waiting, Rowan stopped. He reached down, pulling Larry up.

"It looks like my skills have gotten a bit worse. Thanks for the guidance, Vice Commander. After your help, I feel my skills have improved. You're really amazing."

Turning to Steve and Brandon, Rowan said, "You two, come over here. After sparring with the Vice Commander, I've gotten better. I've definitely improved, and I feel sharper. Who wants to go first for some guidance?"

Hearing this, Brandon said, "I'll go first. My skills have declined far more than Steve's. Let the Vice Commander guide me first."
