I woke up on a cold stone floor. Above me, a group of figures dressed in rich robes, surrounded by an aura of magic. The eldest of them approached and said,
"We've summoned you, Hero, to save our kingdom from the Dark Lord."
I looked at him in astonishment and said the first thing that came to mind: "But I didn't press anything!"
They exchanged puzzled glances. It seemed they'd made a mistake with the summoning. "Oh... I guess we summoned the wrong person," the young mage confirmed, reviewing a scroll of spells.
"Wow..." I muttered, "Even in the magical world, I'm just a glitch in the system."
