The night was deep, the clamor had dissipated, and all was silent…

In the Supreme Pontiff's bedchamber of the Spirit Hall.

The bright moonlight poured through the massive stained-glass windows, draping the room in a hazy silver veil.

Inside the bedchamber.

In front of the vanity mirror in the bathroom, the enormous crystal mirror clearly reflected two figures.

The Supreme Pontiff of the Spirit Hall, Bibi Dong, stood naked before the mirror.

Her flawless white skin glowed with a faint pink hue, exuding a warm luster.

Her cascading light purple hair was casually swept to one side, revealing her smooth and delicate back and her impossibly slender waist.

She leaned forward slightly, giving Dai Chengfeng an annoyed glare before brushing her teeth with specially made tooth powder infused with a crisp floral scent, meticulously cleaning her pearly whites.

In the mirror, her eyes carried less of the usual authority and coldness of the day, replaced by a languid and seductive charm.

Dai Chengfeng, wearing a silver silk robe, stood behind Bibi Dong. His firm chest pressed against her cool, smooth back.

His arms wrapped around her tiny waist, his large hands naturally resting on her flat abdomen, his fingertips lightly caressing her delicate skin, sending shivers through her body.

He lowered his head, burying his face into the fragrant strands of her hair at her neck, taking a deep breath.

Then, his warm lips began to wander restlessly, from her slender nape to her sensitive earlobe, finally capturing her pearl-like, adorable earlobe between his lips.

"Mmm…"

Bibi Dong's brushing paused slightly, a soft, almost imperceptible moan escaping from the depths of her throat, tinged with a hint of helplessness and playful reproach.

She nudged him lightly with her elbow. "Stop it… let me finish brushing my teeth first… it's all because of you…"

But instead of relenting, Dai Chengfeng intensified his actions, gently licking her soft earlobe.

Only when he felt her body tremble noticeably did he chuckle softly, breathing into her ear with a hoarse voice filled with obvious dissatisfaction and grievance:

"Teacher… why won't you give yourself to me?"

Bibi Dong's brushing came to a complete halt.

In the mirror, she saw the man—no longer a boy—behind her, his deep eyes swirling with unbridled desire and confusion.

She could also see the fleeting complexity in her own eyes.

Seeing her silence, the frustration and restlessness in Dai Chengfeng's heart grew stronger.

He tightened his arms around her waist, pressing their bodies even closer together. His voice was muffled as he continued:

"Teacher… apart from that final step, is there anything between us that hasn't happened yet?"

"Everything we should or shouldn't have done… seems like we've already done it, right?"

"So why… why do you always refuse me at this last step?"

He listed those intimate moments, from their initial awkward touches to their later explorations…

On countless secret nights, within this bedchamber belonging to the Supreme Pontiff, they had long crossed the boundaries of teacher and disciple.

She would lose herself under his kisses, bloom into her most enchanting form in his arms, and allow him to indulge in every possible act of tenderness.

Yet, she always regained a sliver of clarity just before that final boundary.

Using various ways to gently decline, or outright pushing him away.

This feeling was akin to presenting a starving traveler with a grand feast but deliberately removing the main course, leaving them yearning and helpless.

As Bibi Dong listened to Dai Chengfeng's words, her grip on the toothbrush tightened, her knuckles turning white.

She slowly spat out the foam in her mouth and wiped her lips with a warm, damp towel beside her.

Then, she raised her eyes and met Dai Chengfeng's gaze in the mirror, his eyes brimming with determination and desire.

Her expression was complex—filled with affection, struggle, and a trace of guilt barely perceptible…

And a weighty concern that Dai Chengfeng couldn't fully comprehend yet.

After a moment of silence, just as Dai Chengfeng expected her to deflect the topic with silence or a kiss as she usually did…

Bibi Dong let out a soft, almost imperceptible sigh.

"Chengfeng…"

Her voice was low, carrying a rare hesitation and difficulty. "There are some things… you don't know."

She paused, as if gathering courage, her gaze dropping to her hand on the vanity, its fingertips whitened from gripping too tightly.

"If… if we're really going to… completely… I need to talk to someone first… and then… maybe."

Her voice grew softer, especially when mentioning someone, carrying an indescribable subtle emotion.

"Talk to someone?"

Dai Chengfeng instinctively repeated, initially not fully grasping her meaning.

But in an instant…

Qian Renxue!

That woman with the six-winged angel spirit, noble, beautiful, meticulously hiding in the Tian Dou Empire for years—and more importantly, Bibi Dong's daughter!

Could Bibi Dong be planning to tell Qian Renxue?

Tell Qian Renxue that her mother, the Supreme Pontiff of the Spirit Hall, wanted to find her a new father?

Thinking about Qian Renxue's clear yet divinely imposing golden eyes, imagining how she'd react upon learning about her mother and him…

Dai Chengfeng felt a chill run down his spine, a strong sense of guilt overwhelming him.

Even the once confident Dai Chengfeng, who had been boldly questioning her, felt his confidence wane. His arms around Bibi Dong's waist unconsciously loosened.

His gaze flickered, avoiding eye contact with Bibi Dong in the mirror, shifting his eyes awkwardly and ultimately refraining from pressing further.

"Uh… so… is that how it is…"

He nervously rubbed his nose, silently grateful that Bibi Dong's back was turned, preventing her from immediately noticing the turmoil of emotions crossing his face.

Meanwhile, Bibi Dong seemed completely lost in her thoughts, truly unaware of Dai Chengfeng's sudden change.

Mentioning Qian Renxue stirred a whirlwind of emotions within her.

For a moment, both were lost in their thoughts, the bedchamber falling into a subtle silence, with only the sound of their heartbeats clearly audible.

Bibi Dong shook off her tangled thoughts, picked up the cup again to rinse her mouth, completing her nightly routine.

Then, she gently pushed aside the seemingly distracted Dai Chengfeng, walked to the bed, lifted the luxurious velvet blanket, and slipped inside, turning her back to him, leaving only the graceful curve of her silhouette visible.

Dai Chengfeng also snapped out of it, suppressing his unease, and moved to the other side of the bed, lifting the covers and lying down.

Instinctively, he moved closer, pulling Bibi Dong's supple and fragrant body back into his embrace from behind.

His large hand naturally rested on her front, his palm feeling the astonishing smoothness and elasticity of her skin, his nose filled with the fragrance of her hair.

However, after their conversation about Qian Renxue, Dai Chengfeng didn't dare make any further advances.

He feared that if Bibi Dong got emotional, she might really confess everything to Qian Renxue…
