Chapter 1 - WHISPERS OF DESTINY

The night air always had a calming effect on me—the wind in my hair, the sound of the flowing river, the glittering diamonds in the sky. Nature sure was something.

Walking at the edge of a rocky mountain, I cherished sneaking out at night for nature walks. It was the only time I felt truly alive, letting my thoughts wander freely. Exploration coursed through my veins like blood. Creepy caves, hidden caverns, forgotten lakes—I loved venturing into them, collecting rocks and plants as long as they were beautiful. Out here, away from the suffocating walls of my real home, I could finally breathe.

Tired from walking almost all night, I sat at my favorite place: Gishanti Creek. Renowned as the river where the third Kingdom emperor first bathed, many believed it bestowed luck and fortune. At night, under a full moon, the water shimmered like a sea of stars.

I closed my eyes, breathing in the untainted air, letting the silence cradle me—

My eyes snapped open.

A soft voice whispered my name, carried on the breeze.

"Kingston."

I stood up abruptly, scanning the area. The trees swayed gently, shrubs rustled under the cool night wind, but I saw nothing—and yet, goosebumps erupted along my skin.

My heart raced.

Without realizing it, I started walking. Each step forward felt guided by an unseen force. It didn't make sense—I had explored every inch of these mountains—but the path unfolding before me was one I had never seen.

The voice grew louder, each call more insistent.

"Kingston..."

And then I saw it: a cave entrance glowing faintly, as if breathing light.

I hesitated—but curiosity had always been my weakness. My blood thrummed with the thrill of discovery.

Another whisper, urgent now:

"Kingston!!!"

There was no turning back.

Steeling myself, I entered.

The temperature plummeted with each step. Frost clung to the rocky walls, my breath came out in visible puffs. It was an ice cave—in summer. Not even the wildest part of the mountains had anything like this.

I pushed forward, navigating narrow, twisting pathways until I emerged into a wide chamber. It felt like another dimension altogether.

Above me, a giant snowflake crystal glowed on the ceiling. Everything here was sculpted to surreal perfection—walls smooth like glass, the air thick with energy.

My gaze caught a pulsing light at the center.

Something was calling me.

I trudged forward, each step heavier, colder. In the center of the room stood a pedestal—and atop it, a sword unlike anything I had ever seen.

Its blade was pure white with shimmering blue edges, a dragon carved along its length. The hilt gleamed like polished gold, exuding a faint, warm radiance.

Pain exploded inside my head.

Everything went black.

---

When I opened my eyes, agony still pounded behind them.

Pitch black surrounded me. No stars. No river. No ground.

"Huh? Where am I? Am I dead?"

Flashes of the sword, the cave, the pedestal played in my mind.

"Did... Did the sword do this?"

I tried to move, but it was as if invisible chains bound me.

Panic clawed at my throat.

Then I heard it—the voice again.

"Kingston, son of Michiko, Great Warrior God of the Heaven Kingdom."

I shivered.

"Who's there? Where the heck am I?!" I shouted, fear lacing my voice.

The voice answered, calm and steady:

"I am Damien, the Sword of Heavens."

I almost laughed from the absurdity.

"Oh, great—and I suppose I'm Kingston, the Angel of Light?" I said sarcastically, masking my rising terror.

"You're in the system," Damien replied serenely.

"Domain? What the heck is a system?"

Suddenly I heard a voice in my head

"What the heck is all this " I said starting to panick.

"Am I dead is this hell " I said a little above a shout trying to move around but I couldn't all I saw was pitch black.

"Take it easy. Let me explain everything," Kindasha said.

---

Long ago, a war erupted between the sons of the Supreme All-Father: the God of Light and the God of Darkness.

Kindyra, the first son, was destined to ascend to the Throne of Immortality and rule the universe. Drago, the younger, born of chaos and destruction, was denied the throne.

Consumed by rage, Drago descended into the forbidden Temple of Zarathustra, the abyss of the underworld, where the Sword of Debura—the weapon of death and godslaying—awaited. Forged over a millennium with the blood of Hades, this blade could slay even divine beings.

With the Sword of Debura, Drago launched a catastrophic war against Kindyra. Entire civilizations crumbled; gods fell by the dozens.

To stop the madness, Kindyra made the ultimate sacrifice.

Using the blood of the fallen gods and his own immortal soul, he forged Kindasha, the Sword of the Heavens—a weapon of hope and light.

Unable to wield it himself after fusing with it, Kindyra hid the sword within the mortal realm, awaiting a worthy soul.

He found Michiko—your grandfather.

---

I stood frozen as a vision unfurled before me.

A battlefield stretched into eternity. At its center, a warrior who looked almost identical to me, save for his flowing white hair and radiant blue armor, held aloft the Sword of the Heavens. Behind him, legions of human warriors clad in shining white armor readied themselves for battle.

"My grandfather...was a demigod?" I whispered.

"Yes," Kindasha affirmed. "The son of Kindyra and a mortal woman. Though he never knew his true heritage, he was chosen."

Michiko rallied humanity, leading them against Drago's dark armies. With the divine power Kindyra had infused into humankind, they fought valiantly.

In the end, unable to defeat Drago outright, Michiko used the Sword of the Heavens to seal Drago away in the underworld—a temporary solution until the true Chosen One appeared.

After the final battle, weakened beyond measure, Michiko disappeared. But before he vanished, he bestowed five human warriors with elemental gifts: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, and Thunder—guardians to prepare the world for the next war.

The sword was hidden within a secret cave.

Awaiting the Chosen One.

Awaiting... me.
