The sun was setting on Coruscant at the Jedi Temple. Obi-Wan was outside in the yard where the force tree was. He had to have been there for a while since he was helping his student meditate. Anakin Skywalker sat by the tree in his meditation state. The two had been here since the afternoon.
Obi-Wan looked back to his student only nineteen years old, meditating peacefully. Qui-Gon had taken him here as a padawan, and his Master before him. This was a sanctuary for Jedi training their apprentices. After years Anakin had been able to meditate in peace.
The young Skywalker opened his eyes, getting to his feet, he threw on his robes before looking at Obi-Wan with a warm smile on his face, "Come on Master we are going to be late"
Obi-Wan narrowed his eyebrow, "What are you talking about?" Anakin didn't say anything, he just threw on his hood, and walked away.
Obi-Wan could feel the breeze as the sky turned dark. A chill had gone down his spine. He followed his apprentice, but when he entered the room it was dark, no one was in the halls. Obi-Wan continued forward, calling Anakin's name, but it was like he suddenly disappeared. He climbed down the stairs, but the halls remained silent. The lights started to flicker, cause Obi-Wan to startle. He called Anakins name again, still he didn't respond. He then turned back to see the temple in ruins, filled with rubble. In confusion, Obi-Wan kept walking to find out what was going on. This left him in confusion, as the Jedi Master didn't know what was happening. He stumbled upon a body while walking. Obi-Wan quickly bent down to see who it was. He found Mace Windu on the ground with a small hole in his chest. Obi-Wan called his name, but there was no answer, the Master of the Orde was dead. Obi-Wans eyes closed in pain.
Lightsaber sounds were heard, screams of children was echoing throughout the hall, as they were a sound of pain. This made Obi-Wan get up, grabbing his lightsaber, ready to defend himself.
He worked his way up to find himself in the council chamber. Much to his fear, the younglings were dead, slain by a lightsaber. There was a girl spacific, she was ten, human, dark skin, she was on the ground in pain. Obi-Wan went to comfort her in hopes he could help. The girl however pushed him away, giving a stare of hatred at him, making Obi-Wan taken aback.
"He was your responsibility, you should have been here" the girl told him before she passed out.
A lightsaber activated, but it was not Obi-Wans, it was coming from behind him. Obi-Wan slowly turned his body to find who it was, and much to his fear it came true, Anakin Skywalker, hood down, still a nineteen year old boy, ignited his lightsaber.
Obi-Wan stood up mixed with emotions, "Anakin what have you done!"
Anakin only stepped forward, ready to attack, "I did what you made me" he responded before swinging his lightsaber at his Master. Obi-Wan defends himself from the fatal blow. He pushed back, pleading for his student to stop, but Anakin only got angrier, he swung again, and this time Ob-Wan was ready. The two locked blades again, only to find them on a different planet, Mustafar. The two looked the same, as they were ten years ago, both their hilts were different.
Both of them were on the lava planet fighting on a platform that was drifting across the lava, only by using the force that it didn't sink.
None of them said words, Obi-Wan was confused, only using his form three to defend himself while Anakin was just using his rage, trying to take out his Master's head. The two landed on the platform, as they continued to duel. This time Anakins fatal swing missed, causing Obi-Wan to dodge, and cut his legs down, causing the young Jedi to fall down the hill.
Horrified Obi-Wan went down to help him, but when he got down, Anakin's metallic hand gripped his throat, saying only one word, "This is your fault, you should have finished me" he continued to squeeze. Obi-Wan struggled to breath until we woke up underwater, he was in a tank, causing him to react.
"Hes up" Tala said.
"Good, get him out of there" Kawlan ordered.
The medical droid deactivated the tank, letting Obi-Wan out. He fell to his knees, having Cody come to put a long cloth around his bare skin before helping him on to his feet.
"Good to have you back General" he told his old friend.
"Likewise Cody"
Kawlan came up to him with fresh clothes in his arms. Obi-Wan took this, going into the back room to change, much to his surprise they were Jedi robes. They looked like the ones he wore during the final days of the Republic, but they were lighter, freshly new. This almost made him felt like a Jedi again.
"You have my thanks, all of you for coming back to rescue me" Obi-Wan said, looking at all of them before bowing his head. Cody gave him back his lightsaber, clipping it to his belt.
Kawlan stepped forward, "Glad you like the robes. With many Jedi coming by, we had collected some gear they left behind"
Tala was the next to step forward, "We are still in hyperspace, we should be there within the half hour"
"Thank you, I wish to find an empty space where I can focus" Obi-Wan said. Tala pointed to him towards an empty space throughout the ship.
Obi-Wan used the empty space he was training in to hone his lightsaber skills again. The training remote he had found helped him practice by using his connection to the force to strengthen his abilities. The faster the remote went with its shots, the more Kenobi was able to pick up his defense. It had come back naturally over the minutes that he was practicing. He deactivated his lightsaber, finally finishing training.
"You could come out now" Obi-Wan already sensing Tala was by the door. She didn't say anything, for a moment until she spoke, "You seem like you are picking up your skills well"
Obi-Wan shrugged his shoulders, "It comes back to you over time. I didn't fully cut myself off from the force, but I had to hidemself to not draw the Empires attention" before Tala could leave, Obi-Wan called out to her again, "Thank you for picking me up, I heard you, and Cody came back for me"
"With Narr dead, someone had to protect us, but it was my pleasure" Tala said.
Obi-Wan found her flirting intoxicating, reminding him of someone who was like that once.
"By the way, Kawlan sent me for you. We will be landing on Alderaan at any moment" Tala said, closing the door. This cave Obi-Wan has something to think about. Once they land, his plan was to give the Path to Bail who would see them disappear away from the Empire, but after that he would have to inform him of Quinlian, and see where they go from there, perhaps Cody would join him on Tatooine to watch over Luke.
The vessel had reached the peaceful planet of Alderaan, but it did not look the same, smoke was coming from the tower across from them. Kenobi could sense the immediate danger from where he was. Leia was the first person on his mind, or it could be Vos selling out the Imperial Senator, either way Obi-Wan had clinched his heart, as it continued to race. Once the vessel landed he stepped out running, next to him was Cody, who was ready to fight, Kawlan was behind him while Tala stayed with the ship.
The whole place looked like a massacre. The building had a massive hole where the smoke was going, guards were dead trying to defend against the threat. Judging by seeing them a fight had broken out. The group went inside, seeing nothing, but damage, looking like the vision Obi-Wan saw in his dream, but it wasn't the Jedi Temple. On the ground was a woman in a blue dress.
Obi-Wan immediately knew who it was, "Breha can you hear me?" He shook the wife of Bail until she was awake.
Breha opened her eyes, and looked panicked, "The Empire, they were here for Leia!" she cried.
Obi-Wan's worst fears was immediately coming true. He had Cody stay with the Senator's Wife. Kawlan followed the trail ahead, there he found Bail Organa on the floor. Obi-Wan quickly rushed to his aid, "Senator"
Bail stood up, a gash of blood running on top of his head. The Senator felt dizzy, so Obi-Wan sat him on the chair.
"Senator, where is Leia?" Obi-Wan barely gives him time to recover.
Bails eyes widened, as he came to the realization, "They took her, the Empire came, and took my daughter"
"Why though?" Obi-Wan still trying to press for questions.
"I don't know, but a garrison of stormtroopers was here along with a female Inquisitor, human, hair braided"
"Reva" Obi-Wan murmured to himself.
"Why do you though Senator?" now Kawlan was asking for questions.
Obi-Wan knew the truth, but hoping they didn't find out, it explains why he saw lightsaber marks over the place. Bail wanted to hide much information as he could, but Obi-Wan was the one to speak, "I don't know if its about Leia, the Empire was already hunting me, but regardless we can't loose leia, for all we know they discovered something useful from her" Obi-Wan said without giving up information.
"The Inquisitor did give me a message, she said for you to meet her on Nur"
Shivers went down Kawlans spin, Obi-Wan could sense it, "What is it?"
"Thats a place where Jedi go, and never come back. The Inquisitors had taken my wife who use to be a Jedi, and I never saw her again, more then likely she is dead or something far worse"
"Well then, I will go to this Nur, and confront them myself" Bail declared, standing up.
"Thats not a good idea Senator, it sounds dangerous" Obi-Wan warned him.
"I have no choice, she is my daughter!" Bail argued back.
Kawlan shook his head, "Its secret for a reason. If you go, you may never return"
Before Bail could argue more Obi-Wan stepped in, "I will go, this is clearly a trap for me"
"I advise against that Master Kenobi" Kawlan told him, with Bail also agreeing.
"Perhaps, but we have no choice. I am not going to lose her because of my presence"
Kawlan, who didn't like this, and wanted to leave, agreed to help, knowing it would be a sucide mission, "Alright we can have a small army, but whats the plan?"
Obi-Wan grinned, "Simple, I will have to give them an unexpected, me"
On Nur at Fortress Inquestorius the Third Sister had already thrown the Princess of Alderaan in a cell. The ten year old Leia threw a tantrum, demanding she would be let go, that she is a Senators daughter, but Reva just pressed the panel to mute the sound.
The Grand Inquisitor, Fifth Brother, and Quinlian Vos all walked towards her, clearly unhappy. The Grand Inquisitor was equally if not more infuriated with his subordinate, "You have lost your mind Third Sister, kidnapping an Imperial Senators daughter!"
"Relax, she will be fine, she is only the bate. Once we get Kenobi, I will let her go"
Vos was visibly shaken, his eyes turned away towards the wall. Fifth Brother gripped his fist, and the Grand Inquisitor gritted his teeth, stepping forward, "You will answer for this, do you hear me Third Sister" leaning in closer, but Reva didn't say anything, she knew what she was doing.
Before anything else could occur, an Imperial worker walked up to them, "Grand Inquisitor, we identify an unknown spaceship, what would you like us to do?"
"Let it land, I will go greet them" Grand Inquisitor said, looking directly into Revas eyes, who just smirked.
Obi-Wan Kenobi was standing by the ramp. Stormtroopers pointing their blasters at him until the Grand Inquisitor arrived with his hands folded, wondering what was going on, but Kenobi smirked, "I surrender"
