Kai's POV
The incident with Kei in my office earlier scared me to death. It made me realize that my affair with Zane is more dangerous than I thought. It is something that I couldn't avoid no matter what I do, and I have to deal with it one of these days.
And actually, I'm afraid of how I'd deal with Kei rage.
"Well, well." Dante smirked after he opened the door and saw me. "The business prodigy of Montclair is finally giving in to me."
My brows furrowed. "I don't think so."
He chuckled. "Just as expected. Come in, love."
I entered his unit, but I didn't let my guard down. I made sure there's enough distance between us. I just can't trust this man.
I don't know what he's capable of, and Zane reminded me to never let my guard down around this person. He only agreed to let me meet Dante because I told him I'll buy us some time while thinking of a way to get rid of this guy.
