"You damned bastard! How dare you insult a god?!"
With a furious roar, a barrage of divine attacks rained down upon Comet.
Despite his towering frame, Comet's movements were surprisingly agile. He dodged the incoming attacks with ease, nimbly weaving through the storm of strikes.
"You winged freaks are as hot-tempered as ever," Comet grumbled, stretching his limbs as he moved. "You almost singed me, but luckily, I've always had good fortune."
High above, the Angels of Gold and Silver hovered in formation, their expressions grim. Something was wrong.
They couldn't figure out why every attack aimed at Comet veered slightly off course. None of the skills landed where they were supposed to.
What's more, even the damage they did manage to inflict was mysteriously reduced.
On the ground, Daniel observed everything quietly. With [Eye of Insight] activated, he quickly uncovered Comet's little secret:
