The following morning, Keveelsky went to work as usual, but his mind was somewhere else. He wanted to get married and fulfill one of his grandpa's wishes; he did not even consider his feelings, saying that feelings can be cultivated later in the marriage. When the clock hit 10 in the morning, he took his household register and went to the civil affairs bureau. He reached there after 30 minutes and rested in the car while perusing through some important documents( the gifts he was going to give Tamar for agreeing to marry him).
He looked at his watch from time to time and also looked through the rear-view mirror to check if the girl had arrived. Even after 50 minutes, the girl still did not appear, so he took his phone and called her without noticing that the location was still overseas. The call went through, and his first words were, "You're late, I'm giving you ten more minutes... he was cut off by a sweet voice, " Kev, I thought you cancelled the flight. Even if you didn't, I still wouldn't manage because the bank called me to report without fail. Let's just get married after two years we agreed upon initially."
After listening to her, Keveelsky only said okay and hung up. He once again asked himself if a girl who couldn't even do him this favor would risk her life to save him back then. He was happy she didn't come because he was hoping for something he also didn't know. He had to convince his grandpa to agree to the surgery first. After cooling down his emotions, he ordered the driver to drive back to the office in a chilly voice. The driver, noticing that his boss was acting abnormally, drove faster as if it were an emergency. He wanted to reach the company faster to escape this ticking time bomb.
Grandfather Delus was in the bedroom where his driver was reporting everything to him. He had sent him earlier on to tail his grandson, who had a very high IQ with a low EQ he could not even tell that the girl did not love him. He wanted to see if he could bribe those people to give him fake certificates. He was wise enough not to. He laughed out loud because his grandson can now marry Havila, but was also upset because he couldn't see that the other lady was a gold digger. Due to sudden changes in his emotions, he fainted again.
The butler called Keveelsky and wanted to take him to the hospital, not knowing that he had pretended to faint. This was his scheme. When he noticed that the butler was almost getting a panic attack, he raised his voice intentionally so that Keveelsky could hear. "I'm not going to the hospital, don't call that stupid grandson of mine, he is getting married today, after he brings her home, I'll immediately go to the hospital. Humph! Let me sleep for a while more, and I will be fine." The butler could only follow his master's orders silently, so he hung up, but the message was already delivered to the target.
Over the other side, Keveelsky heard everything the old man said, and fear gripped his heart. He trembled, and the phone fell down, shocking everyone in the meeting room. The stakeholders sweated thinking that the one who was giving the report had messed up big time; they prayed silently so that the storm could pass without harming any of them. To their surprise, the chairman adjourned the meeting immediately and left with hurried steps. They remained with their mouths agape a their heartbeat cooled down.
Keveelsky dismissed his driver, who was very happy to take his lovely girlfriend out on a date; he drove himself to the ancestry home. He went to his grandfather's room directly and sat beside him. He took his hands and talked to him slowly, " Grandpa, I think I have to disappoint you big time today. I did not get married as planned, as he girl had more important things to do, so she didn't come. I am fully sorry." Grandpa Delus opened his eyes only to meet his grandson's sorrowful eyes.
This was the first time ever since Keveelsky was born that he heard him say sorry, for he rarely makes mistakes. He was not convinced yet, so he asked, "What is more important to a girl other than marriage? I think any girl would leave all the important things so that they get married, especially to you, unless that girl doesn't love you completely. If she did, she would help you with my matter before going back." Unfortunately, the dummy grandson didn't get his message, so he still tried to defend her. " That's not totally her fault. I promised her marriage in two years, but I suddenly moved it forward. She did not have enough time to plan her things."
Grandpa Delus was very disappointed with his grandson, but he still said, "What plans would a college student have? Okay, then go and wait for her for those two years; in the meantime, I will also not go to the hospital." He then pretended to be in pain and forced a cough. Keveelsky tensed and asked, " What do you want me to do? Just say it, and I will do it immediately." Grandpa Delus answered on the dot, " Marry Havila." Keveelsky then said helplessly, "That girl doesn't care about me at all. How sure are you that she will agree to marry me?"
This was taking too long, so Grandpa Delus said with agitation, "How would you know if you don't try? Okay, I will help you this once, just give her a call and I will do the rest for you." Keveelsky said heavily and asked one last time, " If she agrees, and I said if, will you agree to receive treatment?" He then received an 'absolutely' answer before he even finished asking the question, so Keveeslky knew he wouldn't go back on his words.
