Ultra Magnus was currently looking over the horizon as he yelled down to Trailbreaker "Trailbreaker! Go hunt out for Optimus. Make sure that you don't get caught." Trailbreaker gave a thumbs up as he went off. Trailbreaker hasn't been in any scouting missions for a while now and now that it was his chance, he could explore more of earth and what it contained. He transformed into his vehicle mode and went through the dirty pathway as he could feel the harsh dirt go on his tires. He was determined to find where his leader could be at. Trailbreaker had never seen Optimus go away for this long ever since he went into the vortex, the Autobots had particularly spilt up from each other. Honestly trying to go find everyone was like a child playing a game and unable to find their own toys. What could Trailbreaker say, with a situation as drastic as this, it was honestly not wonder why some Autobots had completely decided to go off by themselves. But that just made things way more difficult on their own. Trailbreaker went through a really bumpy hill as he transformed and found a bunker nearby. It was a large bunker and it started to keep Trailbreaker the creeps. The bunker had large cobwebs outside of it, most of the grass which was used to cover the bunker was no longer there and it looked very old. There was also the sound of strange buzzing coming in as Trailbreaker said out loud "I assume this used to be one of those old Decepticon locations. I never knew they abandon things like this, they rarely ever do." As he took a risk and entered there.
The smell of decomposing human bodies instantly hit Trailbreaker's sensors and that made him look disgusted "What is that smell?" He asked himself as he turned on the lights and his expression turned frightened. There was a man with a shirt that was ripped open and there revealed was a open chest cavity. He bent down before saying "What did they do to this poor human?" He wondered as he saw that there was little to no organs and the man's rib-cage was open. Trailbreaker slowly grabbed up the human and held him close as he examined the rest of the bunker. The area smelt musty, walls were cracked and there was crates scattered all across the floor as he went to the computer while trying to not gripped the dead body tightly. He soon began to attempt to open up a human computer which saw nearby and he saw that there was a password to open it which made him say "Well, that could have gone better." Before hearing footsteps and a cruel robotic laugh which made him turn instantly. He saw someone jump downwards as they attacked him and Trailbreaker dodged seeing Megatron who was in the bunker and glaring at him. This was a bad time to be here, much less if the Decepticon leader was around here. Trailbreaker said in complete surprise "Megatron!?" As he could see the Decepticon leader have a cruel smile on his face. Trailbreaker ran out when Megatron tried to grab him and crush his own spark with his servos. Megatron looked in complete fury as he said loudly "Autobot, you get back here!"
"After all the harm you did? I think not." Trailbreaker replied and responded harshly by pulling out his gun and shot quickly which Megatron was surprised instantly put up his arm upwards and blocked the blow with his durability. He shot back out of surprise as Trailbreaker had managed to use his force field which only lasted for a few seconds due to his energon being drained but the blast was able to deflect back the blast. Immediately Trailbreaker left the bunker holding the dead body in his servos and Megatron opened his optics and saw that Trailbreaker had went away which looked with complete enragement before calming himself down, "I hate being weak. Not only did this pathetic Autobot got away and now that seeker is running around like he thinks he owns the world. Okay, let them run. I'll see how that goes." He went down through a large hole in the ground when he told that to himself that. Meanwhile Trailbreaker was currently running away through a large forest as he slumped the dead human over his shoulder "Okay, so Megatron is around and he has a plan. Knowing Megatron, it's nothing good." He said before finally pausing at a tree as he called Ultra Magnus. "Ah I just to call you Trailbreaker! What's going on over there?" Trailbreaker replied "Nothing good, Magnus. I encountered Megatron and he didn't chase after me which is fishy to say the least." Ultra Magnus heard his response and said "It's either a trick or plan and where things are headed, it looks like the former."
Ultra Magnus continued with "Continue searching for Optimus and if you come across more situations like that, come back to us." As his voice faded out as the call ended. Trailbreaker soon left the body on the floor so the human police may find it as he went outside of the forest and came across a river, a large clean one and there was a sign nearby which was about a project about cleaning rubbish from seas and rivers. Trailbreaker soon crossed the bridge as he said "Fish out of the water, what is that thing over there?" He looked up as he noticed something in the forest in the far horizon. It was a large white and orange looking thin signal station with a antenna coming from it. There was electronic sparks coming out of the building and long wires draped downwards. It was starting to become a sunset as Trailbreaker moved to the open area where the building was. He saw that there was a telephone station connected the wires and also was sparking outwards. His system detected a large amount of space signals, presumably from the vortex and it seemed to be affecting the things around here. He suddenly heard a high amount of jet noises as he looked upwards seeing a familiar purple and black jet that transformed, Skywarp of all people, of course. Skywarp looked around before seeing the Autobot and also looked at the transmitter which sent out different types of signal while having a sort of wide manic grin on his face. "Whatever are you doing here Skywarp?" Trailbreaker asked in surprise as Skywarp replied "None of ya business you hear me!" As he went in to attack the Autobot while Trailbreaker blocked his attack which annoyed him a lot.
That was until they heard the sounds of something being torn which instantly caught Trailbreaker's attention and due to him being distracted, Skywarp instantly threw him backwards before also going to check out the noise as he flew out of reach. Trailbreaker opened his optics seeing that Skywarp had left him finally as he sighed in relief. But what was that noise? Trailbreaker wondered as he got up and also went to go check it out. He went deep and saw a pool of blood near him before looking at the branches which had had a noisy amount of liquid spilling down from the trees as Trailbreaker saw that there was bits of cells combined and made together flesh that was stuck on the trees. He heard a crunching sound far around and saw someone nearby. "Who is that!?" He exclaimed to himself as he peaked behind the trees. There, it was revealed to be Starscream with his back turned and his cloak falling downwards from his head to his aft as he looked to be eating something, not in a normal way. But the foul smell was clear as Starscream pulled his head upwards enjoying his own meal and a thick liquid dripped from his mouth. "I've been famished for a while. Usually I don't eat like this... Yet I'm still not satisfied!" He yelled out in anger before transforming and flying into the sky.
Trailbreaker came to see what Starscream ate in the first place and he felt actually kind of sick and he yelled out loud "WHAT IN THE NAME OF CYBERTRON IS THIS?" There was a adult human laying on the grass floor with his chest open, his foot and arm was gone, his eyeball was torn out and some of his organs were gone as blood spilled on the floor. Trailbreaker felt like passing out on the floor as he stepped backwards, feeling extremely woozy as his head hit the tree hard and had passed out on the ground. His hearing was gone as his breathing slowed down.
With Ultra Magnus, he was starting to get concerned as he attempted to call Trailbreaker again and failed to get a answer "Trailbreaker?" As everything turned silent. "Bluestreak, go find him." And the Autobot nodded.
