Chapter 114 - Chapter 24 part 5

Bluestreak was currently talking to Ironhide about something before Ironhide said "Bluestreak, I got to go. I have something important today." And he completely left the call. Bluestreak now started to feel worried since he didn't have anyone to talk to and he did not want to lose his sanity after what had happened. "Now who am I supposed to find around here?" The Autobot asked himself before driving off through the roads. It was going to be an very long day today. That was until he heard something and turned around. In the sky the black spot had grown to quite an large amount and immediately the earth started to shake before it had completely stopped. "What happened here?" He said to nobody and suddenly had noticed massive changes. Even more chunks of the earth were flying, the sounds of human war was nearby, there is what looked to be multiple vehicles including helicopters going overhead. Soon an army vehicle had followed behind the helicopters. The country looked in absolute shambles right now and Bluestreak wasn't kidding. He looked up seeing that there was a large amount of supernova energy on his screen. Now the seriousness was realized. This was the near end of the world. "Not if we got anything to say about it!" He yelled out loud and he drove to find the closest signal there is. He found two in fact, Hoist and Bumblebee. "Where are these two currently?" Before suddenly getting an call from someone and opening it up.

"Bluestreak? Where are you?" And he heard the familiar voice of Trailbreaker who probably didn't understand what could have happened. "Trailbreaker! I heard you, where are you?" Bluestreak questioned as Trailbreaker gave an answer "I'm currently on the outskirts of one of the smaller forests nearby. Ultra Magnus kind of left me to figure out the area full of wires." Bluestreak nodded and said "Okay, just give me a moment or so, I think I can pick you up." The call ended as Bluestreak took a U turn and went through the tunnel. The lights flickered softly and gleamed down on the Autobot as his tires rubbed against the road. He moved his window and there seemed to be a Stunticon behind him, Breakdown. Breakdown despite his paranoia seemed determined to go and get him. Immediately missiles came from his car mode intending to shoot down the Autobot. Bluestreak began to speed down through the tunnel as he also began to shoot back at Breakdown who attempted to swerve out of the way. Suddenly Wildrider began to call and Breakdown seemed annoyed at the interruption. "Did you get him?" Wildrider asked and Breakdown replied "I haven't just yet." And Motormaster joined the call "What do you mean you haven't!? How hard is it for you to catch one Autobot? Just go get them." The call ended and Breakdown felt infuriated at the fact he was getting rushed. Breakdown began attempting to catch up to Bluestreak who had finally managed to get out of the tunnel and escape the Decepticons. Breakdown stopped and immediately went back to one of the bunkers at where the rest of the Stunticons were. They were going to be pissed off at him.

Bluestreak who had gotten out safely finally arrived at where Trailbreaker was. "Hey Trail, I'm here." Trailbreaker sighed in relief as he responded "Thank Primus that you are here. Have you noticed what was happening up in the sky?" Bluestreak nodded and stated that he had in fact noticed that something was very, very different. Trailbreaker looked at the large black spot in the sky as his optics blinked at it. Bluestreak transformed and also noticed it as he asked "Whatever do you think Starscream is up to?" Trailbreaker shrugged before he replied "I don't know but we got to worry about Shockwave as well." That was true, Shockwave was seen rarely around and as of late, he seemed to be planning something. Soundwave was somehow less seen than Shockwave and Megatron seemed to be currently fighting defective Decepticons, Starscream and Autobots and his attacks have been increasingly aggressive. "Yeah we should go find Shockwave." They drove off and they did not realize that Shockwave was watching them from afar while wearing an scientist coat. "I see, your action has logical steps but there is one fundamental flaw that you do not see is that I have been watching." For once, Shockwave chuckled an bit. The laugh sounded hollow, forced and robotic however and gave chills to even the most hardened of warriors "Your emotional intelligence is what makes up the logical part of your processor. Even if emotions are illogical. I am curious to see how you two will proceed onwards." Slowly he went after them as their signals appeared on his interface and their information.

The two Autobots who didn't realize Shockwave was in fact watching them moved towards an large cave system. Shockwave had gotten enough information for now even if his morbid curiosity was never satisfied. He turned away and walked off. Meanwhile Trailbreaker had found one of the energon generators, an corrupted one but it looked normal compared to the ones in the mines which was attached to the other devices. Bluestreak turned it over and energon that was mixed with honey come out it, making an thick sludge on the ground. It was sticky, the energon was a mix of a solid and an liquid as the gooey thing was there. "What type of energon is that?" Bluestreak asked as Trailbreaker took this seriously for a moment and his voice came out "This looks like dry energon. But why is it here?" Trailbreaker wondered and there was an point. Most dry energon appears after millions of years and even if you did speed up the process it takes way too long to make it fully solid. The fact that someone had managed to make energon in this in-between state made them uneasy. Trailbreaker began to move to check out the rest of everything in this dark, dingy cave as one curious about the feeling of danger. He suddenly joked out loud "It's a dry state outside, ain't it?" Bluestreak turned around trying to remain firm but Trailbreaker knew how he would laugh at the cheesy jokes he told him. "Come on Bluestreak, it's not that bad." Trailbreaker said. There was a silence for a moment as Trailbreaker asked if he found anything else. "No, it's a dud." Which made Trailbreaker sigh and say "Of course. Have we still have no location for Shockwave?" And they were left at an loss of words.

Optimus had found himself near a offline Wheeljack for some reason and he gently hit the Autobot who woke up with confusion on his face. "Wait- Optimus?" He asked as Optimus said to him "It seems that we actually can't afford the Decepticons to undermine us again. So what were you doing?" Wheeljack responded to him about the fact he was with Alexa and Prowl but Haze had attacked them and after Haze had gotten shot, they had separated from each other again. Optimus explained that he was with Hoist and was in an human town making sure that most survivors were not killed. There have been another attack that ended up terrorising most of the humans and a lot of them were starting to become untrustworthy of the Autobots. "If we can't get them to trust us. Some would be easily manipulated by the Decepticons to attack us. We can't have that and have our truce with humans completely broken." Wheeljack understood that from a technical standpoint completely even if he wasn't too experienced with emotions. He suddenly felt a surge of pain and held his bandaged bulb. Optimus noticed that and his expression turned concerned. "A quarter of my systems are completely shut down and half of them are struggling. I'm not sure if I can fight that much since I'm taxed out." There was an moment of little to none noise and Wheeljack for once looked drained with his optics' colour darkening a bit. "I think I need an moment. I know where Alexa and Hoist's signals are and I will call them over." He strolled off as Optimus looked away. What is it with his Autobots not telling him any of their problems?

Optimus looked as he tried to reach out but his hand slowly fell backwards. There was a deep-seated pain he had noticed with Wheeljack, almost like he wasn't telling him something he needed to get off his own chest. Uncomfortable emories went back to Optimus' head. Bumblebee's smile before everything fell apart, Ratchet working out stressfully before he died, Alexa's comfort and other memories which made him pull away as he remembered that quiet look of grief when he had talked to him quietly. Everything was a mess in his head and now with Starscream being inside of him, he didn't know how to exactly feel now. Things were supposed to be better, if Starscream didn't decide to cause harm to everyone and for once, he actually felt the need to cry even if he couldn't.
