Within the chambers of ministers, the air was thick. Tension hovered like a broken record—no one dared utter the first words. However, this was not within his control.
"Welcome, Prime Minister Moons," Minister Cateland smirked.
"Hmm," Prime Minister Moon hissed and turned to the others.
Everyone knew they were not the best of friends. While Cateland stood like a shield protecting Damon, Prime Minister Moon was more interested in gaining more power and controlling the court.
"What is this? Since when do you all gather here?"
The room was quiet. No one wanted to be a scapegoat or step on the tongue of Prime Minister Moon. Not only was he a cunning man, but he also held the secrets of his enemies.
"We all know you've been violating your position," Cateland hissed, her eyes cold and her hands folded.
"Abusing my position?" Prime Minister Moon was mocked. "Is there anyone who hasn't abused their positions? Even the leader has. So why should mine be a topic open for discussion?"
