Chapter 165 - The Reignbow Arbiter's Borrowed Power, Phantylia's Fated Fall on the Xianzhou

Three against one, and Phantylia was still gravely wounded.

In this state, she couldn't possibly continue the fight.

Just run. Escape, quick!

This body, formed from the undying God essence condensed by Jianmu, was absolutely unsalvageable.

Having suffered a complete defeat, Phantylia's only option was a desperate escape.

This very vessel, meticulously crafted through immense effort and suffering, held no chance of survival.

"To my esteemed adversaries of the Xianzhou, this is indeed my defeat. No matter what schemes I spun, victory eluded me. I only hope that next time, your luck holds out…"

Phantylia sneered, addressing Jing Yuan, Feixiao, and the others.

She wouldn't concede defeat in spirit. Since she was choosing to abandon her physical vessel and escape, there was no need to be polite to these Generals.

At the same time, she would use this very body for one final act.

To create a window of space for her escape.

Phantylia wanted to self-destruct.

However, this 'self-destruction' was merely a disintegration, scattering her body's energy to create a wide-ranging energy fluctuation that would grant her enough time to flee.

She prepared to initiate her body's disintegration.

Jing Yuan, Feixiao, and General Huaiyan took a slight step back. It was the final phase of the battle; there was no need for them to directly contend with the energy unleashed by Phantylia's disintegrating form.

They simply adjusted their positions, subtly widening their encirclement to completely trap Phantylia.

But just then, Phantylia's shrill, furious shouts cut through the air.

"What the hell is this thing!?"

Hearing her scream, Jing Yuan and the other two Generals exchanged baffled glances.

What in the world was Phantylia yelling?

Fearing it might be another one of Phantylia's insidious ploys—a trap to wound them and create an escape window should they approach—Jing Yuan and his allies held their ground, only tightening their encirclement.

Only Derick, lingering behind, knew that Phantylia's mind was devoid of schemes at that moment. As she attempted to disintegrate, she finally stumbled upon the ravenous consumption of Derick's Fourth Clone. Earlier, when she launched attacks, the Fourth Clone hadn't absorbed enough to make itself obvious, so it had remained cooperative, ensuring Phantylia wouldn't notice. But now, as she tried to break down her body, she found that a significant portion of her internal energy had already been devoured, leaving her no time to disintegrate.

If Phantylia's body were likened to a grand dynasty, then Derick's Fourth Clone was the colossal, hidden corrupt official within it. Under normal operation, no issues would be apparent. But when faced with external threats and attempting to mobilize the national treasury's reserves, she discovered that the vault had been completely emptied long ago.

Realizing she couldn't disintegrate, Phantylia could only let out a cry of utter helplessness.

Noticing that the body's energy could no longer be devoured, Derick immediately commanded his Fourth Clone to burst forth from Phantylia's very being, like breaking free from a cocoon.

A significant portion of the energy within Phantylia's physical form had been devoured by Derick. In fact, when he had just pulled out the Crimson Moon from his own body earlier, it was also to mask the sudden surge of Abundance Path Energy within him. Even the Xianzhou Generals hadn't fully grasped the Crimson Moon's nature, and Derick openly displaying it like that made the drastic fluctuations in surrounding Abundance Path Energy seem perfectly plausible.

Once Derick retracted and contained his Abundance Power, he casually returned the Crimson Moon to his body.

From the abdomen of Phantylia's physical body, Derick's Fourth Clone tore through her flesh and burst forth.

A massive, pitch-black figure, easily over ten meters tall. Though the Fourth Clone was Derick's last to manifest, it wielded the most power and possessed the largest physique.

This sudden appearance of the pitch-black "monster" caused everyone present to instinctively flinch back.

"How is there another one?"

They glanced at Derick's Second Clone, then their eyes shifted to the Fourth Clone.

"What is this creature? How did it end up inside Phantylia's body?!" March 7th asked, utterly bewildered.

However, no one present had the slightest clue what was actually happening. Not even Ruan Mei, a member of the Genius Society, could glean much from her analysis.

Yet, as Ruan Mei gazed at the Fourth Clone, the fervent desire in her eyes intensified. Two down. Once Amphoreus's location was pinpointed, the third would surely follow.

The others, however, didn't share Ruan Mei's urge to dissect the creature. Instead, they simply registered a higher degree of danger from this pitch-black entity in their minds.

Currently, three such creatures were known to exist. Aside from the one by Ruan Mei's side, which appeared rather docile, the other two were far more problematic. One had been parasitic within Phantylia's body, devouring the physical energy she had so painstakingly created; the other was wreaking havoc on an unknown world called Amphoreus, consuming countless lifeforms.

Would these creatures continue their voracious consumption? Were there more of them lurking in the Multiverse? What further devastation would they unleash upon the Multiverse?

A heavy dread settled in everyone's hearts.

At this very moment, discovering her inability to trigger her body's disintegration, Phantylia's panic intensified. She couldn't even manage the desperate luxury of using disintegration to carve out an escape route.

Phantylia's teal, flame-like Su Yang form manifested, still determined to attempt one last retreat.

These Generals, meanwhile, were wondering if she could somehow still manage to escape.

Such thoughts raced through her mind as she tried to make her exit. Yet, no sooner had she begun to move than the combined energy net woven by Feixiao, Jing Yuan, and General Huaiyan utterly thwarted her escape.

"Your best fate now is to enter the Netherprison," Jing Yuan stated, his voice devoid of emotion as he addressed Phantylia.

Phantylia's teal flame-body trembled violently as she shrieked, "Impossible! I would rather embrace death than suffer such a fate!"

Phantylia, after all, still clung to some shred of dignity as an Annihilation Lord. She would sooner perish than become a mere captive.

"Then perish!"

Feixiao cared nothing for her pleas. Wielding her twin Blades, she charged straight for Phantylia's form. She had long coveted the head of an Annihilation Lord, and now that Phantylia was practically begging for death, Feixiao was more than happy to oblige. Besides, if she personally finished Phantylia off, it would make explaining the Crimson Moon issue on Derick's person a whole lot easier.

Phantylia frantically hurled two bolts of energy at Feixiao. But such an attack was utterly negligible to Feixiao. A flash of blade light, and Phantylia's assault was casually batted away, before the blade continued its deadly thrust towards Phantylia.

There was no escape. No chance of flight remained.

Phantylia thought.

Then, with a sudden hardening of her heart, she shrieked at Feixiao: "Feixiao, this is your doing! Even if I perish, I won't let you get away with it!"

Phantylia turned her gaze to Derick, who stood nearby, and her entire form shot straight for him.

"If I can't survive, then I'll drag your student down with me!"

At the same time, Phantylia hadn't forgotten that Derick was the biggest turning point in this battle. If he hadn't absorbed the Crimson Moon, Feixiao would never have had the chance to reach this battlefield. Without her participation, facing only Jing Yuan and General Huaiyan, Phantylia might not have won, but she would have successfully escaped with her physical body intact.

Unlike now, where even the slimmest chance of survival was snatched away.

"If I'm to die, then we all go down together!"

No one had anticipated such a move from Phantylia. An Emanator-level being, her speed and power were beyond anything even Yanqing could compare to.

In virtually the blink of an eye, she appeared directly before Derick. Gazing into his startled eyes, Phantylia intended to possess his body.

Derick actually felt a flicker of panic. He wasn't certain if his unique body structure would be effective against Phantylia.

Just as this hesitation gripped him, he suddenly felt the surrounding space and time grind to a halt.

He could even distinctly feel the rhythmic thrum of his own heartbeat.

From somewhere distant, a voice filled with profound authority seemed to resonate.

"Raise your hand, draw your longbow, and hunt down all those who plague the Multiverse!"

The Hunt's radiant arrow descends, and no one can escape its gaze.

Derick slowly raised his hand, settling into the posture of drawing a bow and nocking an arrow.

Everyone in the vicinity was frozen, utterly unable to move. Even Phantylia, who had been rapidly closing in on Derick, couldn't advance another inch. She could only watch as Derick assumed the posture of drawing a bow and nocking an arrow.

What was he doing? He had neither bow nor arrow in his hands!

Just then, a shooting meteor streaked across the distant sky, leaving a long, fiery trail behind it.

"That was… the Emperor-Bow Commander's Light Arrow!"

Feixiao, Jing Yuan, and General Huaiyan mused inwardly.

In Derick's hands, after that radiant arrow streaked across the skies of the Luofu Xianzhou, a bow and arrow formed from pure light materialized.

The energy within them was undeniably from the Emperor-Bow Commander.

"N-no!"

Phantylia shouted loudly.

She wanted to struggle, but her body was utterly bound by the Emperor-Bow Commander's energy, leaving her no chance of escape.

"You've already been locked onto by the Hunt's arrow!"

And in that moment, Derick released the radiant arrow.

At such close range, Derick was able to channel the full might of the Emperor-Bow Commander into that light bow and arrow.

Lan had momentarily lent Derick some of her power, empowering him to eliminate Phantylia.

The Emperor-Bow Commander's power was truly immense. The radiant arrow fired by Derick pierced straight through Phantylia's Su Yang form. Phantylia, who moments ago had been struggling desperately and screaming, now stood utterly motionless.

What was the result?

Everyone watched Phantylia with bated breath, their eyes filled with anticipation.

What would happen to her?

A few seconds later, Phantylia's form shattered like glass, exploding into a shower of fragments. Before they could even reach the ground, these shards dwindled into motes of dust, vanishing into the air.

Phantylia… she was dead, taken down by Derick and Lan.

Witnessing this outcome, everyone present couldn't help but let out a collective sigh of relief.

In Xianzhou Alliance's Stelle Year 8100, Phantylia, the Annihilation Lord of the Antimatter Legion, infiltrated the Luofu Xianzhou carrying a Stellaron. Disguised as Tingyun, a member of the Sky-Faring Commission, and colluding with the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus, she instigated the revival of Jianmu.

Xianzhou Generals Jing Yuan, General Huaiyan, and Feixiao—the three Heavenly Generals—joined forces, thwarting Phantylia's nefarious scheme. Subsequently, Feixiao's disciple, Derick, with the aid of the Emperor-Bow Commander, decisively struck down Phantylia's true form.

This battle: a resounding triumph!
