Chapter 2 - Strangers

The next day, the brothers were excitedly waiting for Pepe's arrival. They sat on the porch and gazed at the horizon. Stark questioned if Pepe would show up. Hafen muttered that he would show up. Matteo exclaimed that Pepe would never forget about them. As Henry worked on the farm, he heard a familiar voice. He looked at the source and saw his wife talking with Pepe. They both greeted each other, and Pepe was welcomed inside. When the brothers heard the news, they rushed inside. After their greeting, Pepe challenged the brothers to a sparring match. Stark, Matteo, and Hafen accepted the challenge. They raced to the back of the house. Outside, the brothers took their positions. Pepe, with his hands behind his back, asked if they were ready. The brothers charged at him. Matteo, using his speed, rushed towards Pepe. However, Pepe dodged and tripped Matteo. Stark, taking this opportunity, rushed to him. Pepe smirked. In a split second, Pepe swiftly avoided Stark's punches. After a few attacks, Pepe knocked out Stark. Hafen was shocked. He rushed towards Pepe and threw a punch. Pepe, once again, evaded. However, Hafen followed up with a flurry of attacks. At the same time, Matteo rushed behind Pepe and attempted a sneak attack. However, Pepe sensed the attack and evaded. The three brothers surrounded Pepe. In sync, the three brothers launched their attacks on Pepe. Pepe, however, was able to knock down the brothers with their own attacks. The brothers laid, exhausted, on the ground. Pepe smiled and offered them some advice. He closed his eyes and revealed that their moves were slow and predictable. When he opened his eyes, the brothers were gone. Pepe, surprised, looked around. Behind him, Stark, Hafen, and Matteo appeared. They all simultaneously attacked him. Pepe was hit. He was knocked back. As the brothers approached him, Pepe stood up, slightly winded. The brothers stopped. They were surprised that the attack landed. Pepe smiled and complimented their improvement. After their spar, Pepe waved goodbye and walked back to The Orphanage. Matteo invited him to come back soon. After some time, the brothers continued their training. Suddenly, the brothers heard a loud rumbling sound. It was coming from the forest. Henry, outside the house, stopped planting seeds. Adelia, holding Ana, was watering her garden. She was alerted by the sound. Stark, Hafen, and Matteo went to check what was making the sound. The brothers were surprised to see a monster. A giant spider was in the middle of the forest. It was a big spider with green armor and spikes. It had multiple legs. On its abdomen, a large symbol was printed. Stark questioned why it was not moving. Suddenly, a girl, who the brothers remembered, came from the trees. The girl approached the giant spider and stopped a few feet away from it. The brothers recognized her as the girl they had fought a long time ago. The brothers approached her. They were going to confront her. Suddenly, the giant spider moved. It crawled away. The brothers were confused. The girl turned and stared at the brothers. The brothers stopped. Matteo waved and said hello. Stark asked if she was going to do anything about the monster. Hafen questioned what her intentions were. The girl looked at the ground. She stated that it was not her place to stop it. The girl continued that she was not a hero. Hafen asserted that it was heading towards their house. Stark exclaimed that she was strong, and she would be able to stop it. The girl was taken aback. The giant spider continued its trek through the forest. The brothers were determined to stop the giant spider. Hafen asked if tthe girl could tell them what it was. The girl revealed that it was a type of monster called a Spider. The brothers were shocked. Stark pressed that it was not the one they encountered. He explained that spiders were smaller. The girl revealed that the monsters were evolving. She revealed that monsters were constantly trying to reach their next form. The brothers were shocked. The girl asked what they were going to do. Stark, with determination, replied that they would defeat it. Hafen and Matteo nodded and expressed their agreement. The brothers chased after the monster. As the brothers disappeared into the forest, the girl sighed and muttered that they would get themselves killed. Deeper in the forest, the brothers caught up to the monster. They stopped in their tracks when the monster's large legs blocked their path. The brothers stared at the spider. It was massive. The monster roared. Matteo and Hafen were intimidated. Stark clenched his fists. The giant spider was ready to attack. Stark yelled at the top of his lungs. In the next moment, the spider attacked. A large, red ball of energy was hurled at the brothers. The brothers dodged. The ball of energy created an explosion which knocked back Matteo and Hafen. Out of the smoke, Stark quickly jumped in the air and punched one of the spider's eye. The giant spider screeched in agony and ran through the trees and bushes. Stark fell to the ground and sighed in relief. Matteo and Hafen approached him. Matteo laughed and praised his strength. Hafen asserted that it was leaving the forest. Stark nodded and stood up. Matteo wondered how Hafen knew. Hafen questioned if Matteo did not hear what it said. From the branches of a tree, the girl observed the brothers. Afterwards, the brothers returned home. Adelia and Henry were concerned about them. Adelia, holding Ana, scolded the brothers. Adelia pressed that they were worried about them. Hafen revealed that they encountered a monster. Henry, shocked, questioned what they did. Matteo, excited, described their encounter. He revealed that the monster was a spider. Adelia and Henry were surprised. Stark added that he had the power to stop it. The brothers reassured them that the monster would not come back. Henry questioned why it was even there. Stark and Matteo, surprised, replied that they did not know. Hafen explained that the spider was looking for a home. Stark and Matteo looked at him. Henry sighed. He was relieved that they were fine. Adelia informed them that they were registered for school. Henry urged them to behave at school. The brothers nodded. The next day, the Fisher Family had dinner together. Ana was asleep. In the middle of dinner, Adelia was refilling the empty bowls with more food that she made throughout the day. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Henry asked the brothers if they invited Pepe. Matteo replied that he did. Adelia was concerned, though. If Pepe came in now, they would not have any food for a couple of days. The Henry, aware of that, got up from the table and walked towards the door. The trio stopped eating and longingly stared at their Henry. As he walked towards the door, Henry had an eerie feeling in his gut. It was too late for him to visit, and it was not the kind of knock Pepe would make. When he reached the door, he slowly opened it. Suddenly, two strangers stumbled into the house and asked for refuge. They uttered that they were chased by bad guys.

The family was surprised. The brothers rushed to the door. The strangers were dressed in strange clothes and wore weird accessories. They wore a cloak with a unique design of an eye. One of them had short hair whereas the other one had long curly hair. They also had pointy ears. The strangers were massively injured. Henry, surprised, asked them who they were and what happened to them. Simultaneously, both of them kneeled and bowed. One of them begged that they needed their help. He urged Henry to let them stay there for a while. The three brothers stood up. To them, they looked like intruders ready to tackle their Henry. Henry glanced at them and assured that them to calm down. The two strangers glanced at the family. One of them reassured that they didn't mean any harm. The other stranger continued that they just needed a place to stay. Henry asked where they were from. They were from a city to the west. Matteo, Stark, and Hafen were curious. They were confused and questioned what the city was. Henry was shocked. He asked if they were really from a city. He asked if the city had electricity, houses, and vehicles. They nodded. Stark was curious about what a vehicle was. Matteo wondered what electricity was. Hafen was confused. He wondered what the strange language the two intruders spoke was. Henry was astonished. He questioned what they were doing in the forest. The strangers revealed that bad guys have been terrorizing them for a long time. They were being chased, but that they lost them. One of them asked again if they could stay. Henry asserted that the forest was sacred. He demanded them to leave at once. The pair started to cry. Their heads hit the floor. They cried that they couldn't go back, and that they had nowhere else to go. Adelia, behind the three brothers, watched the scene unfold. The family had heard the situation they were in. Adelia sympathized with them. She walked up to her husband. Adelia touched his shoulder and whispered into his ear that one day would not hurt them. Henry turned his head. Adelia revealed that she could feel their pain. Henry was intrigued. Adelia asserted that their story sounded familiar. She recalled their experience and how they lost everything. She elaborated that they escaped to the forest, and they had no one but each other. Adelia asserted that it was not a sin to help people. Henry pondered for a moment. He realized that she was right. Henry sighed and proclaimed that they could stay with them for a day. Adelia smiled. Henry and Adelia have accepted to house them. The two strangers, who were still kneeling on the ground, were relieved. They thanked Henry profusely. Adelia asked if they were hungry. The strangers nodded. Adelia urged them to follow her. She led them to the dining table. As they approached, the three kids were still on guard. Hafen questioned if they could really be trusted. Henry explained that the pair would be staying with them for a day or two. He concluded that they could not be so suspicious of them. The trio was not sure, though. Hafen commented that they have never seen them before. He questioned his father how he could be so trusting. Henry responded that as long as they don't have bad intentions, he would help them out.

The family sat at the dining table and introduced themselves. Henry revealed that they were the Fisher Family. He introduced his wife, Adelia. Henry introduced his sons, Stark, Matteo, and Hafen. Adelia revealed that they lived in the forest. The pair stared at the brothers. The pair were curious about them, and the brothers glared back at them. Adelia introduced the baby, Ana. After introducing themselves, Henry questioned what the two strangers' names were. One of the strangers, who had long hair, introduced himself as The Exalted One. His friend, Sabre, was introduced as well. They were brothers. The Fisher Family was astounded by their names. Adelia giggled and commented that they were interesting names. The Exalted One assumed that Henry's kids have never wandered outside the forest just like when they were young. He looked at his counterpart, Sabre. The brothers stopped glaring and were intrigued by what he said. Matteo asked if there was an outside of the forest. The Exalted One was surprised. He questioned if they had not heard about it. Stark confirmed that they had not. He elaborated that their parents always warned them about it. Stark mentioned the monsters in the forest. He mentioned the giant snake that almost killed them. Matteo added the giant spider that they encountered a while ago. Hafen concluded that the outside was dangerous. The Exalted One and Sabre chuckled. They were amused by the children's naivety. Sabre commented that they had a lot to learn. He questioned if Henry and Adelia were protecting them. Henry and Adelia nodded. They revealed that they did not want the children to wander the world and get into trouble. The Exalted One, with a nostalgic look, remembered and talked about the first time that they saw the beautiful outside world. It was magical. He would do anything to see that sight again, whatever he must. Sabre agreed with his brother. Stark was amazed. He questioned what was outside the forest. The Exalted One revealed that they had traveled the world. They explored new cultures and saw sights that they never imagined. It's a world of boundless adventure. The Exalted One urged them to go. He concluded that it was dangerous, but worth it. Stark was inspired. He looked at his parents and asked if they could go. Adelia and Henry were not amused. They shook their heads. Hafen remarked that he never thought about it that way. Sabre asserted that he and his brother could sense that there was latent potential in them. He continued that he was actually looking forward to seeing how the brothers grow. Matteo, surprised, wondered what that meant. The Exalted One clarified that he knew that the brothers could achieve greater heights than they could imagine. Adelia placed their bowl of food on the table. She inquired on the strangers being secluded from the outside. The Exalted One confirmed her assumption. He revealed that they ran away from their secluded village when they were young. He mentioned that the village was hidden in the mountains, and the world was not aware of it. Sabre, next to his brother, remembered their journey and the things they had to do to survive. The Exalted One elaborated that they were now in charge of an organization they recently took over. Their goal was to make the world as beautiful as the first time they set their eyes upon it. Sabre added that they have had many successes so far. However, there was a group opposing their efforts. The Exalted One explained that the opposing group had an insatiable hunger for power. They were the bad guys after them, and they were responsible for many catastrophic events. Matteo gasped. He wondered why people would be so evil. Stark asked his dad if they could embark on a journey outside the forest. Henry and Adelia were not amused. They shook their heads. Henry explained that the forest was their home, and their home was safe. Stark begged his dad to take them out there. He wondered why not. Henry, frustrated, explained that they were not ready for what was out there, yet. He looked at the strangers. Henry asked them to refrain from the topic. The pair nodded. Stark sighed. Matteo wondered if their mom and dad had ever seen the outside. Hafen and Stark glanced at their Henry. Henry and Adelia was silent. They looked down. Stark wondered what was wrong. Adelia smiled and assured the boys that everything was okay.

After dinner, Adelia and Henry started to feed Ana. The trio went outside to show the strangers their abilities. The two strangers looked at them in awe. Hafen used his telekinesis to levitate rocks and pebbles. Matteo rushed around the clearing and ran up the tree trunks. Stark demonstrated his super strength by punching a huge rock. After a while, the two strangers were impressed. The Exalted One commended their abilities. He continued that they had a strange signature. Sabre commented that they were strong for little kids. Stark wondered what their abilities were. Sabre smirked. He asked if he wanted to spar. Stark accepted the challenge. Matteo was excited. Hafen was skeptical, though. He was not sure that the pair were good people. Sabre, after walking a couple of meters away from Stark, prepared himself. Stark got into his fighting stance. Dust blew away from his feet. The strangers were in disbelief. The Exalted One commented that his power was growing, exponentially. It was unbelievable. Stark stayed silent. His brothers watched in wonder and excitement for the outcome. Oddly, the stranger stood still. Stark ran towards the stranger at full power. Sabre, unfazed, stood still. Stark jumped into the air and threw a punch towards his face. He screamed and his fist connected with Sabre's arm. Sabre had managed to block it with his arm. In an instant, the ground broke, and a small crater was formed. The sheer force pushed Sabre back as Stark landed on the ground. There was an explosion of dust. Matteo and Hafen were in awe. Stark stared at the cloud of smoke. His hand was bloody. Stark was also breathing heavily. He was exhausted. Matteo questioned if Stark just won against someone from outside world. Stark looked at his bloody hand. As the smoke cleared, Hafen was surprised and alerted that it was not over, yet. Suddenly, a foot emerged from within the smoke. It stepped on the ground and kicked the dust away. Sabre stood with an eerie smirk on his face. Stark was shocked. The stranger stood tall and had not a scratch. Sabre walked towards Stark. He commented that it was not bad of a punch. Sabre was impressed. Stark looked shook. He muttered that he gave it his all on that attack. Sabre explained that he had seen many fighters, but no one like the brothers. Sabre questioned if Stark could feel it, if he could sense the thrill of battle. Stark replied that he could not. He questioned what Sabre meant. The Exalted One watched from the porch. He chuckled and commented that the brothers could not understand. They may be too young. It was a shame, yet it would be more exciting to see their growth. Stark looked at his bloody hand. He clenched it. Sabre smiled and commented that he could feel the passion for battle in his blood. Sabre praised him. Matteo and Hafen were astonished by Sabre's power. They questioned how he could block a full-powered punch from Stark. Sabre elaborated that the brothers were special. He stated that only people who have achieved a certain level of strength could be able to use the energy that the body produces. He concluded that he could not believe that mere human kids were able to use it so easily. As he gazed at the energy radiating in the forest, The Exalted One revealed that their bodies had a unique quality. It stored more energy than others. They were special, indeed.

Sabre menacingly walked towards Stark. He asked if he was ready. Stark, determined, rushed towards Sabre. Hafen and Matteo were nervous for Stark. Sabre smirked, and he, all of a sudden, rushed at Stark with a crazed look. He crouched and punched him in the gut. Stark grunted and fell on his knees. He harshly coughed. The brothers were shocked. Sabre, not satisfied, continued his assault. He kicked Stark's face. Blood came from his nose and mouth. Stark fell onto his back. He laid on the ground, motionless. As slobber fell from his cheek, Sabre stared at Stark with the eyes of a predator. He chuckled and asked Stark how he planned on surviving in the outside world if he was defeated so easily. Suddenly, Stark's hand started to move. Hafen and Matteo were in shock. Sabre watched. Stark slowly and painfully sat up. He muttered that it was not over yet. Stark looked at Sabre. With a fierce look in his eyes, Stark limped towards him. Sabre watched, entertained. He questioned Stark's resolve and asked him why he was so desperate to be strong. Stark, without responding, attacked. Sabre dodged Stark's punches. The brothers watched, in awe, as Stark kept on trying. After a while, Stark fell onto his knees. He was panting. His head was down. Hafen and Matteo exclaimed in concern. They ran to his aid. Matteo, as he reached Stark, knelt down. He was shocked to see Stark's wounds.

The Exalted One demanded Sabre to snap out of it. Hafen questioned if his parents taught him to hold back. Hafen and Matteo glared at Sabre. The Exalted One nervously remarked that Sabre went too far. He apologized for him. Suddenly, Sabre laughed. The brothers were confused. Stark looked up. Sabre revealed that he was not even trying, yet. He still had the crazed look. Still, Sabre praised Stark's stubbornness. He declared that Stark could not beat him with his current strength. Sabre elaborated that he had the drive, the will, and the ambition to reach his goal, but he lacked the strength. Stark looked up at him and asked how he was so strong. Sabre smiled. He asked if Stark could see it and if he could feel it. Stark's eyes widened. Hafen and Matteo were also surprised. A menacing aura emanated from Sabre. Sabre proclaimed that it was his will to live and his desire to become the strongest that made him strong. It was the energy from his body, from his soul, that defeated Stark. Stark was astounded. He looked at his bloody hand. The two strangers walked back to the porch. Stark looked at them and questioned if there were more people like them. The Exalted One revealed that the brothers were not the only special people out there. Stark's eyes widened. Hafen and Matteo were amazed. The Exalted One continued that there were others with similar qualities. He finished his statement by asking the brothers if they wanted to get stronger. The trio nodded. The Exalted One chuckled and stated that the outside world was the place to train and grow. He elaborated that the outside world had endless mysteries and challenges.

Suddenly, loud sirens echoed through the forest. The Exalted One was taken aback and alerted. He was concerned. Sabre looked towards the forest. The brothers were confused. They wondered if the sound was a monster. Hafen noticed the pair's concern. Hafen, confused, asked what it was. The Exalted One, serious, looked towards them. He revealed that it was the bad guys. The Exalted One urged the brothers to hold them off. The brothers were shocked. They asked what he was going to do. The Exalted One, in a stern voice, reassured them that they could handle it and asked them to buy him and his brother some time. The Exalted One turned towards his brother and ordered Sabre to snap out of his state. Sabre, reluctant, complied. The Exalted One revealed that the bad guys found them and urged Sabre to follow him inside the house. Sabre obeyed. The brothers were surprised as Stark tried to stand up. Stark, determined, was ready. His brothers supported him. They questioned if he was alright. Stark replied that he was fine. The brothers stared at the two strangers, who were about to enter the house. Matteo wondered if Sabre was more powerful than Pepe. Stark revealed that he felt a strange sensation from Sabre. Stark harshly coughed and muttered that somehow, he shielded his punch from hitting his arm. It felt like it connected, but it didn't at all. Instead, Stark was the one who ended up with a bloody hand. Hafen claimed that The Exalted One was even more powerful than both Sabre and Pepe. Stark and Matteo looked at Hafen.

The sirens grew louder. They stood back up. Hafen turned around and looked at the source of the sirens. Matteo asked Stark if he could still fight. Stark smirked and assured that he was fine. He continued that to think that there were people stronger than them, he was excited. Matteo replied that he felt the same way. Hafen pointed and interrupted that they should start by protecting their home and defeating the things. Matteo and Stark turned around and saw three fast moving vehicles heading towards their home. All three of them were confounded. Stark worryingly asked what those things were. He commented that monsters were the bad guys. Matteo noticed and exclaimed it ate people. He continued that they were trapped inside it. Hafen asserted that the monsters were fast. He urged Stark and Matteo to brace themselves. Hafen concluded that they had to be more powerful than their guests.

A while ago, the military had chased the two strangers, but they lost them in the forest. Later, a military helicopter flew over the forest and located the strangers' whereabouts as they entered a house. The girl was hiding behind a tree and looked at the military. She was surprised that the vehicles were heading towards The Fisher Family. She ran towards The Orphanage. The vehicles were getting closer and closer. They received information on the brothers sparring as the helicopter spied on the house.

Now, the military vehicles arrived and stopped in front of the house. They were ready to detain the brothers. The doors of the vehicles opened. The people, trapped inside, stepped out and pulled out weapons. They aimed their weapons at the kids. Simultaneously, they pleaded for the kids to surrender. Matteo and Hafen were in disbelief. Hafen questioned who the people were. Stark, annoyed, asked them what they were doing at their home. Stark revealed that they were trespassing. He ordered them to leave their home at once. The soldiers refused and ordered the brothers to surrender. Matteo implied that the monsters and the people it ate were now working together.

Hafen asked if the bad guys were the people riding the monsters. A soldier, angry, exclaimed that they were not monsters or bad guys. He continued that the brothers had no idea who they were dealing with. Matteo questioned why they were after the strangers. A soldier revealed that the two strangers were responsible for the destruction of many cities. Another soldier claimed that they were wanted criminals and terrorists. The brothers were shocked. They refused to believe their claims. They argued that the two strangers could not be villains. Stark paced towards them. A soldier warned him to stop. Stark, unfazed, clenched his fists and challenged them. Matteo exclaimed that he was right. The military and the monsters were working together. Hafen agreed. The two were convinced. Stark stood next to his brothers and stared down at the soldiers. The three brothers stood defiantly and prepared to fight. One of the soldiers was taken aback. He questioned the brothers' audacity and urged them to stand down. A soldier questioned the brothers' motives. He ordered them to step aside. The brothers, determined, refused. The soldier threatened to open fire. The trio stood their ground. As they stood, the trio remembered their guests' warning. A soldier, annoyed, ordered the soldiers to fire.

In the next moment, Stark rushed towards the soldiers and vehicles. Matteo did the same. However, Hafen stayed behind. While the soldiers hesitated to shoot, Matteo threw a flying kick through the window of an opened door. The glass shattered. He managed to hit the person behind the door. Then, he landed on the ground. Suddenly, all of them shot Matteo, repeatedly. Matteo, injured, yelled in agony and fell to the ground with blood pouring out from every limb in his body. Stark yelled in fury and launched a punch towards the nearest soldier. He was sent flying, but his gun fell on the ground. A soldier aimed his gun at Stark. At the same time, Matteo was lying on the ground, breathing heavily and bleeding. Stark punched the soldier and snatched his gun. The other soldiers were shocked. In an instant, the soldier next to him aimed at Stark and fired. Stark, however, deflected the bullet with his arm. The bullet left a bruise. A soldier yelled and ordered him to stand down. Matteo struggled to get up. He muttered to himself that he could not let them kill his family. Matteo groaned as he got up with multiple holes in his body. Pain had taken control of his body. The soldier he had kicked earlier lied, face up, on the ground in front of him. Matteo looked at him. His wounds rapidly regenerated. As he menacingly limped towards the soldier, he shrieked that he was monster. The soldier demanded him to stay back. He was terrified at the sight of a bloody kid with a dislocated jaw crawling towards him. Suddenly, another soldier shot him in the back. He was sent flying forward and onto the ground. Matteo, still alive, looked at the sky. A soldier walked towards him. He pointed his gun at him and ordered him to stay down. Matteo barely replied that the soldiers were the ones working with the monsters. He claimed that they were evil. The soldier, angry, shot him. At the same time, Stark screamed. He, fueled with rage, lifted and carried one of the vehicles. As the sun was setting, the shadow of the vehicle completely covered Stark. As he menacingly walked towards the soldiers, one of them pleaded to him to stay back. Stark yelled. He threw the vehicle over them and into a tree behind them. The soldiers were in disbelief. A soldier screamed and ran. Hafen watched. He realized that the weapons that the bad guys carried were dangerous. Furthermore, they were able to aim and shoot out incredibly fast projectiles with these weapons. All of a sudden, their weapons flew out of their hands. The soldiers were bewildered as their guns floated in the air. Hafen had used his telekinesis technique to disarm the soldiers. The soldiers wondered what was going on. The weapons turned around mid-air and aimed at the bad guys. They were frightened and placed their hands up like they were trying to touch the sky. One of them begged Hafen not to shoot. Little did they know the invited guest, Pepe, had arrived. He stood behind a tree and leered at what was happening.

Inside the house, a conflict had stirred. The Exalted One and Sabre argued with Henry and Adelia. As she cradled her sleeping baby, Adelia questioned if the soldiers were here for them, two. Henry, frustrated, asserted that he did not want to believe it, but it seemed so. He was furious. Adelia commented that she heard a commotion outside. Henry assumed that the two strangers were on the run. Sabre confirmed their assumption. Adelia was not amused. She asked them why the soldiers would be chasing them. Sabre replied that he did not have to explain himself. Henry assumed that they were the bad guys. Sabre laughed. The Exalted One sighed. He looked at Henry and denied his accusation. He explained that he and his brother were trying to save the world. Henry demanded them to leave the house. He was adamant about his decision. The Exalted One wondered if they would cover for them. Adelia replied that she did not want any part of their business. Henry added that the pair were not welcomed here. The Exalted One understood. He revealed that there was something that they should know. Adelia and Henry looked at him.

Suddenly, the door was forced open. A soldier entered and aimed his gun. He ordered them to stand down. The Exalted One chuckled and questioned how they could have found them. He was not worried. The soldier, however, ordered them to put their hands up. In the next moment, his weapon was yanked away. He was taken aback. As the soldier reached for his gun, the gun floated towards The Exalted One's hand. He grasped the gun and looked at it. He smiled. Henry and Adelia were shocked. The soldier, terrified, was on the ground. They had no idea that the strangers had these abilities. The Exalted One shot the soldier in the head. Blood splattered on the entrance of the house. Afterwards, The Exalted One aimed the gun towards Adelia and Ana. Adelia gasped. She cradled Ana close to her. The Exalted One asserted that they were their hostages, now. Sabre stood beside his brother. He was proud.

Henry clenched his teeth. He was enraged that they were the bad guys. Henry muttered that the strangers have deceived them. He stepped forward and demanded The Exalted One and Sabre to release his wife and daughter. The Exalted One refused. He threatened that he would pull the trigger if he came closer. Adelia, cradling Ana, was afraid. She begged them to not harm the baby. The Exalted One, unfazed, demanded Adelia to head outside and tell the military that they had left. He continued that no one else had to get hurt. Adelia was horrified. She pleaded that she could not do that. Adelia continued that she could not help evil people like them. As The Exalted One was about to fire, the gun was knocked out of his hand. Henry, using his martial arts, swiftly attacked him and threw him into the wall. Sabre was furious. He charged at Henry and punched him. As Sabre was beating Henry, The Exalted One got up and dusted himself off. With a crazed look, Sabre picked Henry up. The Exalted One questioned Henry if he was stupid enough to try and challenge him. Sabre held Henry in a chokehold. Henry was struggling to get free. Sabre warned Henry to stand down. His fingers transformed into claws, ready to puncture Henry's chest. The Exalted One demanded Sabre not to kill him, yet. Adelia cried and begged them not to. The Exalted One walked towards her as she wept. Adelia, fearful, pleaded him not to come near her. The Exalted One pulled her arm away from her sleeping baby. Adelia yelled and cried. The Exalted One picked up her sleeping baby by her shirt. Adelia begged him not to harm Ana. The Exalted One ordered her to do what they asked. Adelia was hesitant. Ana opened her eyes. She glanced at The Exalted One. Then, Ana innocently stared at her Adelia. The Exalted One emphasized that the best thing for her family is for her to do as she's told. Ana kept her stare towards her Adelia. She felt like she was suffocating or drowning as if their feelings were intertwined. At that moment, she reached for her mom.

The Exalted One noticed. He let go of the shirt and held her from her head. He remarked that they should obey, or he would crush their daughter's head. Adelia gasped. As he threatened to squeeze Ana, Adelia agreed and complied. Adelia cried and apologized. Ana continued to stare at her. Ana sensed her Adelia's fear and sadness. Henry screamed to leave his daughter alone. Ana stared at Henry and reached for him. Henry erratically tried to escape. He begged them not to harm her. Sabre tightened his grip. He asserted that he would not hesitate to kill if he continued to resist. He questioned if the fool did not understand. Henry continued to resist as it got harder to breathe. His vision blurred. As the strangers threatened the family, they did not notice a strange sensation in the forest. As she saw Sabre's claws puncture the skin of Henry, a new emotion stirred inside Ana. Ana started to cry and wail. For the first time, Ana felt traumatized. In an instant, intense energy radiated from her.

Adelia, terrified, screamed at them to stop. Ana's crying grew louder and unleashed a powerful cry. It became more than crying. The intense energy surrounded the house. A force of nature. Adelia, in terror, exclaimed what was going on. The Exalted One, shocked, did not have an answer. They did not know. The intensity grew. A strong gale swept through the room, knocking over things. It knocked down Adelia. Sabre lost his hold on Henry, and Henry fell to the ground. As he was pushed back, The Exalted One let go of Ana.

Outside, the soldiers were in awe of Hafen's power. He stood tall, with his hands stretched out, while he fired a warning shot from the guns that he controlled. One of the soldiers claimed that he was a freak. Just then, energy from the house radiated throughout the forest. The brothers turned around and looked at the source of light. The soldiers were worried. A powerful gale of wind deterred Hafen and threw the weapons onto the ground. Stark, confused, questioned what was going on. The Fisher's House shook. Hafen was alerted and rushed towards his family. Stark followed suit.

Back inside the house, The Exalted One and Sabre struggled against the strong force. Ana, in a fetal position, floated in the air. She was emitting an enormous amount of light which overtook The Exalted One and Sabre. Adelia took her hands off of her face and looked at her daughter. Then, she glanced at the two strangers. They were also floating in the air. However, it looked like their limbs were being pulled apart. Their mouths were wide open. In addition, their eyes were rolled back, and a bright light was shining through the holes in their heads. Adelia was shocked. Henry gasped for air on the ground. Adelia crawled towards her husband and asked if he was in pain. Henry mumbled that the cut was not deep. He assured that he would be fine. Adelia nodded and looked at the spectacle. She questioned what was going on. Henry looked at the scene and muttered that he did not know. The Exalted One and Sabre yelled. A large explosion occurred and covered the room with a blinding light. Adelia and Henry were startled and braced themselves.

The energy subsided while Ana stopped crying. As the light slowly dimmed, Adelia and Henry looked around. Everything was broken. Broken walls. Pieces of wood and glass were scattered across the floor. The Exalted One and Sabre were unconsciously laying on the floor, blood pouring out from their eyes and mouths. Adelia and Henry were astonished. Ana was slowly descending onto the ground. As Adelia stood up, she reached her hands out. Ana, asleep, landed in her arms. The light subsided. Ana was safe and sound. Adelia sighed in relief. Henry sat up and was concerned. Adelia, smiling, assured him that she was okay. Henry was relieved. He asserted that he would check on their sons. As Henry headed towards the door, Hafen opened the door. Hafen, exhausted, was panting. He called for his parents.

Adelia and Henry turned their attention towards him. Hafen was shocked. He questioned what happened. As the sun was setting, Henry replied that he would explain later. Adelia, cradling Ana, was relieved to see him. Henry asserted that they must stop their fight with the soldiers. Hafen was confused. Henry walked outside with Hafen. Henry was taken aback by the condition of both sides. Stark stood on the porch and looked at him. He was distraught. Stark cried that they killed Matteo. In the small battlefield, Matteo looked at himself and remarked that they did not. He continued that he was pretty sure that he was alive. Stark bawled that he was alive. He cried that he thought that the projectiles passed right through him. Matteo was surprised. Hafen, who was beside his Henry, was also surprised. Matteo, curious, questioned what he meant.

Henry was relieved. He bowed and declared to the soldiers that he was sorry for what they had to go through, today. Henry urged them to please forgive them and let them talk. He revealed that he had the fugitives. Hafen asked why he was apologizing to the bad guys. Henry asserted that they were wrong about the strangers. They were evil. Henry continued that these soldiers were responsible for justice brought to this world. In this situation, they were the good guys. Stark solemnly questioned if they were protecting the bad guys the whole time. The dad affirmed that he was correct. Matteo looked at the vehicles and asked about them. Henry answered that they were vehicles. Vehicles were not alive. They're just scraps of metal. The trio was shocked by the revelation.

The soldiers rushed to retrieve their guns. A soldier stepped out of the group and commanded them to stop. He was the squad leader of the squad of soldiers. The squad leader was surprised that the fugitives were defeated. He, impressed, asserted that they would hear them out. All of the soldiers had a big sigh of relief that the fight was over. A soldier walked over and picked up his gun. Still, another soldier, behind a tree, was cowering. Henry, grateful, bowed his head again and thanked the soldiers. He continued that they had seen the strangers' true colors and were ashamed that they had mistakenly sided with them.

Away from anyone, Henry and the squad leader gathered at the side of the house to talk. Henry asked if they could be quiet about what they encountered, today. The squad leader revealed that their mission was top secret, but the leader of Stribora would be informed of what occurred. The squad leader continued that he would like to take either him or his kids in for questioning. Henry was taken aback. The squad leader revealed that it was only for the sake of investigation and asked if there was anything that the family had to hide. Henry gritted his teeth. He replied that he could not allow that. Henry asserted that the brothers needed a Henry figure. In realization, the squad leader asked if he was implying that his sons were not his. Henry was taken aback. He wondered if the soldiers had any idea. Henry confirmed that the brothers were not his or Adelia's kids by blood. He continued that he adopted them from a nearby orphanage. Henry reassured that he treated them as his own kin.

The squad leader pondered and concluded that they must be extremely talented kids. The squad leader revealed that a military helicopter had spied on them and watched their spar with the strangers. Henry was surprised. He inquired about the extent of their knowledge. He asked why the military was spying on them. The squad leader explained that they were investigating the forest for unusual activity and potential threats. He concluded that the brothers had great potential. Henry clenched his teeth. He questioned what the military would do with his sons. The squad leader explained that they had no choice in the matter. The squad leader smirked and offered that if he turned in the fugitives with some extra cash, then, they would be quiet about what they had seen and leave them alone. Henry, enraged, clenched his fists and commented that he was not rich. He could not offer much. The squad leader smiled and remarked that he respected him. He continued that he does not do this often, but he'll be brief. Thus, he proposed that his final offer would be to have the brothers join the military in the future. Henry was shocked.

The squad leader elaborated that they were one of a kind. He continued that if they wanted to live safely and peacefully in the future, Henry had no choice but to give up their sons for the future of humanity. Henry closed his eyes. He knew about the problems that could arise in the future. However, the squad leader gave him a one-time chance where he could continue living with his kids. At the same time, he would have to prepare his kids more than he had before. He was determined to have his kids ready for anything in the future. He opened his eyes. He looked at the officer in the eye and agreed to the proposal. The squad leader nodded and gave his word that it would not go public. The two men shook each other's hands. Henry asked for his name. The squad leader replied that his name was General Remus. He continued that he was a member of The Union. Henry was surprised by his status. General Remus was an influential person. General Remus ordered Henry to prepare his kids, for the future of their world depends on it.

As the soldiers were preparing to leave, the brothers were on the porch. They wondered what their Henry and the squad leader were talking about. Soon, Henry came out of the house with the two strangers and turned them in to the military since they were fugitives. The strangers were in handcuffs and still unconscious. The soldiers carried their flailing bodies into their vehicles. Henry and his sons looked at them from their front porch. The three brothers were astounded. Stark exclaimed that they were beaten. Hafen questioned how. Matteo asked if there was someone else stronger than them. Although it seemed unrealistic, their Henry was the only possibility. Hafen questioned Henry if it was him. Henry chuckled and replied that it was their baby sister, Ana. He added that Ana was even stronger than him and Pepe. The brothers were shocked as their jaws dropped for a few minutes. They were massively confused. After they cleared their heads, Stark and Matteo were amazed. Hafen was skeptical. He questioned if their little sister had the ability to fight. Henry replied that Ana was special. Stark, excited, was ready to become as strong as their sister. He wondered when Ana could spar with him. Hafen reminded that Ana was a baby. Matteo, with an innocent smile, suggested that Ana could train them.

After the military left, Henry asserted that it was time to go to sleep. He continued that their first day of school was tomorrow. Henry opened the door and went inside the house. Matteo was glad that their first day of school was the next day. Stark wondered what Henry would teach them after school. Hafen, who was looking at the direction of the military, muttered that something felt weird. Matteo asked what was wrong. Hafen looked at his brothers. He was concerned about what was in store for the future. The brothers went inside. Little did anyone know the invited guest, Pepe, had fallen asleep behind a tree two hours prior.
